Getting tired of waiting, Nanowire pushed himself off the wall and started a slow walk about the warehouse. Nervous energy made it difficult to settle in one place for any length of time. Dispite his depression, he couldn't find it in himself to just gather dust over in the corner. His footsteps thumped softly against the concrete floors of the warehouse, far more quietly than should have been possible given his mass. He noticed out of the corner of his optics that the other henchmen, the humans, were keeping their distance from him. They feared him, just like everybody else. Why should they be any different? Four hundred and fifty kilos of metal and myomers was fairly scary, after all. He hated them for being normal all the same.

"I... I wasn't thinking," Nanowire shakily replied to Heavy's question. His antigrav systems cut in without him thinking about it, which was fortunate, because he didn't feel up to thinking about much of anything, even the sudden scene translation. The last few moments of the desperate fight inside the museum kept running through his mind. Why had he done that? He could have killed both of them if they hadn't been so fast. There was just this dead feeling inside, an absolute loss of emotional attachment to what he was doing. The imlications were troubling, to say the least. "There wasn't any other way I could see to get inside - I thought... I thought everyone would be too busy with the car. I wasn't expecting metas." His face dipped towards the ground, Nanowire's shame over his actions, both before the fight and during, becoming very obvious. "Sorry." A flimsy excuse. Heavy himself had repeatedly warned him about the probablity of metahuman involvement, and Nanowire had repeatedly disregarded them. In his arrogance over his supposed advantage in acumen, he had only shown himself to be the fool. "So... what now?"

The "man" standing in the corner was only one in terms of limb number and placement. Little else besides that, from his metalic hide to his wholely mechanical eyes, would point to him being in any way related to humanity, a fact which sorely distressed him. Renichi Sonada, aka Nanowire, glanced about the warehouse, taking in just how far he'd fallen in his quest to return to humanity. It had all started out so well. He had a plan, and names to make that plan work. All he needed was a little bit of money to start things rolling. Now he was a mercenary, selling out the very beliefs he'd held while human to become one again. That's how he had gotten into this, Nanowire supposed. Just look over some crates - nevermind what was inside - and he'd be well paid for his efforts. But was it worth it? Was this the way to get back to what he was, or was he just digging himself in deeper? Nanowire settled in for the duration, the wall behind him groaning in protest of the weight it was forced to support. No doubt somebody would be here soon to spoil Ms. Linn's party, but he couldn't be bothered to care past getting the job done.

Indeed, very nice, Barnum. You exceed expectations as usual. I'll get my first post up tonight. EDIT: And, posted! I'm not exactly sure of Nanowire's placement, but he's somewhere in the corner, apparently. BTW, this is what he looks like, at least until I get a better pic: BIg mecha guy, that's him. :)

I do! I have just as much faith as I have in the Star Wars series done by the WB! (No, I don't know if it's being done by the WB, but I can just imagine it.)

My action is as posted. Nanowire's blasting both himself and Heavy towards the "exit", wherever that is. Currently, he's at Flight 4, which is 100 mph. Pretty quick, but not versus Velocity's insane level of speed. I think Valkyrie should be able to catch up with us fairly easily as well.

"No, wait! I didn't mean it!" Nanowire cried out as the checkerboard girl made her quip. This had gone all wrong. No one was supposed to get hurt, just a quick in and out with no interaction. He was relieved that both the speedster and her platemail-garbed companion made it out relatively unscathed, but guilt ate at him all the same. Nanowire made to explain himself, however poorly that was likely to turn out for him, when Heavy grabbed him from behind and started dragging him towards their pre-planned exit. Logically, that was the right decision. Escape from the heroines was paramount now; everything else, including forgivness, would have to wait. Nanowire assisted with the exodus by activating his gravimetric impellers and flying them both towards their goal.
