  4. Swords are still low-tech, in that they still have to be used in close combat. No firing it at him and you'll be fine. This is kind of a sticky power that you're trying to build here. For example, my character could not hurt you at range, but could still hurt you in close dispite your Intangible power if he used a HP to give himself the equivilent of the "Affects Incorporeal" feat. As for cameras, that's actually an interesting idea. Since cameras are not technically a "power" per se, I would have to say no. You would need concealment for that, since cameras do not simulate a damaging event.

  7. Okay, that's a DC 22 Reflex save, followed shortly by a DC 27 Toughness save. It's still non-lethal, BTW, despite the description. It's just a variation of the "Shockwave" alternate power from superstrength. Same game effect, different special effect. Nanowire is experiencing some remorse right now - he might be a bit shakey for the next few rounds. :)

  10. Surprisingly enough, the two women seemed unable to hit Nanowire. One sped past him at blurring speeds, perhaps too fast for her to keep up with. The other missed for a far easier to understand reason - she overextended herself on the punch, and just barely managed to avoid leaving herself in a perfect position for a counterattack. Now both had fled to what they believed was a safe standoff distance. They were wrong, of course. All that remained was to make them aware of that fact. As Nanowire prepared his next assault, he paused for a moment, almost stumbling under the weight of his realization. Was this really him? Was stealing things and hurting people really the way he wanted to spend his life? He came to Freedom City to get out; become human again. None of this was part of the plan, much less what he was preparing to do. Then the cold, logical part of his brain knocked him back on track. These people were in his way. There was no other consideration other than that. Renichi would become human again, but first, he needed to clear out of here. The shortest path between two points was, and always would be a straight line - through them. The seams of Nanowire's armor opened up, revealing row after row of razor-sharp needles. With no preamble, and no consideration for property damage, he let fly with all of them at once. The foyer turned into a hellish storm of metal shards, propelled at mach 8 by magnetic accelerators, annihilating everything in their path. Immediately after the shot, Nanowire's head came up sharply. "What... what have I done?" he lamented, his voice lost to the sound of shredding masonry and furniture.

  13. Huh. You know, I was wondering how that managed to happen. I figured Cos knew what he was doing, so I didn't even question it.

  16. Hey! I am not a slut! Just because I sleep with pretty much anything on two legs, that does not make me easy! At least I'm that discriminating. :D

  22. Very thematic, especially the facial expression. Nice work. :)

  25. I'm confused as to the advise Heavy offered that Nanowire didn't take - was that the "we have to get out of here as fast as possible" advise, or something else? Either way, I figured we should let the heroes get their licks in, otherwise they might have well not even shown up. :)
