Nothing for me - Nanowire's bugging out, and I'll pick him up in some other area.

Nanowire kept to the shadows and watched the chaos subside. With the white-haired guy down, it seemed everything was going back to normal, and the others were seeing to the wounded. There was nothing more for him here. He shed his outer layer and took one last look before walking away. His hideout might be able to wait, but Renichi was anxious to get on with it. Ten minutes in town and I witness a superbattle, he thought with a smile. Nice place.

Nanowire mostly nodded along with Heavy as he laid out his plan, emphasizing the parts where he asked him about his experience with computers and security systems with a more pronounced nod. He liked the fact that Heavy referred to his armor as a "bot", though. Heavy might react differently if he knew that this mecha was just as much a part of him as any other part of his body, so Nanowire let him keep those illusions. The same mistake would also help out immensely if he was caught during this little exercise. Anybody would think that the armor he wore is just one more piece of equipment, and without it, he would be defenseless. But there would be time to think on that later. "Weigh? Ah... I've never actually weighed myself while I'm in this, but... I figure 460 kilos, max. During nanoreformatting, though, I can cut that down to 114, maybe a little more. Why?"

Very true. I have a character on GG that uses Spatial Control to teleport. He's only PL 10/150 pp, but he's far more powerful than those numbers would otherwise indicate. I hope it'll work out for you, and it'll be a kick to take on some heroes with ya! ;)

"High-Tech?" Nanowire asked, almost chuckling. That was it? Some mundane security measures couldn't stop him if he put his mind, and more importantly, his remote hacking abilities, to the task. "Believe me, high-tech is no problem. I can dismantle or spoof anything a conventional security system has to throw at me, and I don't think some museum's got anything I haven't seen before. I don't even need to touch what you're talking about in order to slip past." Inside his mechanical cybershell, Renichi smiled. "And the word you were looking for is Grimoire, I believe."

Sounds great. I was hoping Nanowire could do something besides bust Heavy out should he ever go to jail. That he could handle from home, damn near. Datalink and Machine Control are wonderful things. Of course, I can't use them both at the same time, so he would have to physically be there to use them.

...And so, Nanowire's all-too-brief status as undefeated comes to a close. Sad, really. Well, I've at least got some good direction to go on when I get a chance to upgrade my character.

"Thanks," Nanowire mumbles. Like his pride wasn't in enough tatters, he had to get a lecture from this guy? Then what Heavy requested occured to him. "Just bust you out of prison if you get sent there? That's it? Nothing else?" It wasn't the thought of breaking the law that repulsed him, it was Heavy's lack of imaginination. If Nanowire had been in Heavy's boots after what he had shown him, he'd have a few better ideas than that. "What do you do, anyway? I mean, aside from a stong right hook, what skills do you have?"
