  1. Using the Police Officer PL3 archetypes found in the core book p 228 for the guards. The first floor, has two stationary guards. One has a clear view of the front entrance and the elevators. The other has a clear view of the stairs and the back corridor which The ghost just came in from. The two guards do not have line of sight with each other, but through walkie talkies, can stay in contact with each other. notice check (1d20+5=9) for the guard to hear Sammy's approach. Not enough to hear once the distance modifiers are in place.

  5. Nightrival would know that this is their usual MO, but they usually left Monty's place alone. Monty's helped too many of their grandparents to bother with. Monty is still asked to donate to the plan, but never in a violent way.

  8. Great! Here's information on the two points. The location will be Monty's Garage, an African-American owned business. The owner, Monty, is in his mid thirty's. He often helps out some of the older people in the area so he is well liked by many. Monty helps fix cars but doesn't always ask for payment. The lack of funds has begun to show in the condition of his shop. A leaky roof and the increase of graffiti on the walls outside are sure signs that he's losing the battle with the neighborhood gangs. The gang. Operating within the Southside is the Brotherhood gang (from Freedom city source book). A large gang of people that for the most part shake down various businesses in the area for "protection" money. Nightravel has had dealings with them from time to time but they have rarely been any real trouble for the hero. Once you point out where to place Monty's garage, I'll pick up the thread of what you come upon.

  11. Since it seems that you're close to taking her under your wing, the two of you head out patrolling the city. You come by a car garage where a group of gang members are trying to bust up the place and the owner. Fairly simple, but the location is one that I want to establish here in the Southside along with the gang.

  17. Okay, I'm in. Not sure of the layout of the place, though. Since this is your thread, I'll follow your lead.

  20. Sammy looked at the building from his position a short distance away. He adjusted his black gloves againas he thought about the job. "Inside, there's a small box with runes all over it. I want you to get it for me but don't open it. Once you bring it to me, I'll give you your money," the voice said on the phone. Sammy hated dealing with people this way, but it was a job. His first in Freedom City and he wanted to make a big impression. "Okay," Sammy answered, "You've just hired The Ghost." Sammy smiled at the memory but then turned his attention back to work. 'Sweeping cameras on the outside. Place this big must have guards on teh inside as well.' Sammy reached up and pulled his black knitted hat down low on his head. Like all classic bank theives, Sammy disliked covering his face. The few times he was pinched in Chicago, he was usually released as there wasn't much evidence to hold him. Only an eyewitness which was easily persuaded to forget his face when it came time to identify him. Sammy never had to worry about the cameras. He's always been lucky like that. Sammy again searched the building for a way inside. A side door looked like it was the best choice for him to use. He checked his backpack to make sure his tools and equipment were securely in place before trotting over to the door. The cameras that were turned towards Sammy suddenly malfunctioned only to reboot once the man had moved beyond their range. Sammy reached out, placing his hand on the door knob. 'Check to see if it's locked, Sammy. Would save you a lot of time.' Slowly, Sammy turned the knob and pulled gently. The door opened a crack and Sammy smiled. 'Ah! Lady Fortune's looking out for her old friend again!' Sammy peeked inside seeing nothing but a corridor that ran deeper into the complex. Sammy took a moment to check behind him to make sure he wasn't observed before entering the premise of Delphic Industries.

  23. It looks like you guys are about to head out for a little patrol work. Would you mind if I put together a little encounter for you guys? Right now, it would be gang related, but it would help set up a number of points I'd like to use in the future.
