The were creatures continue the attacks against the three heroes. The Rhino by Quark ignores the sudden appearance of the orb and he strikes out at the hero. The blow hits easily. The Rhino near High Note shrugs off the sonic attack and moves with a swing. His timing is clumsy and High Note easily sidesteps the blow. The Tiger turns and strieks out at Geckoman easily hitting the nimble hero. The gorilla leader continues to watch the fight smiling wickedly as he sees his cronies continue their work.

The machine is stopped and Mercy is given time to refresh herself. After a few minutes, the workers complete the set up for the last stage of the tests. Alan points tot he four different areas set up by the workers. The first area looked like a small gym, the second area had a few people sitting on a bench, the third area looked to be a small library with a computer on hand, and the final area was a small device with tools nearby. "This last stage will test your skills. All of our students have some talent or other outside of their powers. This is designed to determine yours so that we can adjust classes for you. There are four sections. Each section will test one aspect of your abilities. You must visit each section once and complete a task there. The order is left to you, but be warned, the tasks get progressively more difficult. You get three attempts to complete each task. Good luck."
-
STAGE FIVE This stage will test Mercy's skills. She must use a skill from the following groups. She can only use one skill from each group: Physcial [Acrobatics, Stealth], Social [bluff, Gather Info, Sense Motive], Mental [Computers, Investigate, K.Streetwise, Medicine], Perception [Notice, Search, Disable Device]. You may use the different catergories in any order. Extra effort can be used at any time, Since you used your HP, you can't reroll. Again you get three attempts to beat the DCs listed. Part 1 -- Average DC 10 Part 2 -- Tough DC 15 Part 3 -- Challenging DC 20 Part 4 -- Formidable DC 25

Adds up. Adds up. Need to put the flat-footed score on the Defense though. Adds up Adds up Adds up Adds up. Looks good. Make that small change with listing the Flat-footed Defense and I can approve ya. Totals: Attributes 14PP + Combat 12PP + Saves 0PP + Skills 9PP + Feats 9PP + Powers 80PP - Drawbacks 4PP = 120PP (2 unspent)

Now that would have been an interesting ending, but it couldn'T work for the save reason I had a problem of the movie. That damn list!

The receptionist was surprised to see the good doctor floating in the air. "Uh, no.. of course not. Just fill out this form and we'll get you to see one of our tester as quickly as possible. She hands over a clipboard with an application on it and gestures to the chairs for him to fill it out. Designation: Origin: Power source: Please Describe your Abilities in detail: Any Known Weaknesses: Do you use your powers actively in Freedom City? Yes No If yes, in what way? After the doctor had filled out the form, he was shown to a large room where a woman in a lab coat was waiting for him. She smiled and held out her hand to him. "Good day, Doctor. I'm Dr. Rachel Brown. I'll be adminstering your tests today."

I've got to agree with you on most of the points above. It was entertaining but lacking something. Where Star Trek brought something new to the table, Terminator 4 didn't. I'm not even sure what the original ending was that you referred to, but it has to be better than the way they ended it. The one thing that really got on my nerves was the the #1 person on the death list. Why would Skynet even know to put the people on that list in that order? Just doesn'T make sense. I'll go see it again I think though, but was really looking for more out of it. Well, Transformer next week. :D

Yes welcome! And you could always adapt M&M to a fantasy style game for your face to face group. They even put out a book that helps in that regards!

The receptionist pulls out a clipboard with an application that she hands to him. "Yes. If you could feel out this form, we'll get you started right away." Designation: Origin: Power source: Please Describe your Abilities in detail: Any Known Weaknesses: Do you use your powers actively in Freedom City? Yes No If yes, in what way? After the application was finished, Brett was shown to a large room with a man in a white lab coat. "Ah, good day. I'm Dr. Charles Williams. I'll be administering your tests today."

Date: June 5th, 2009 The Albright Institute stood as one of the leading scientic establishments in the city of Freedom. Though they had less money than the government run facilities, they strove to encourage more of the citizens to participate in their varies projects. The results helped keep the institute alive in the city. Inside, a small number of people sat in chairs filling out applications for services when the good doctor entered. A number of the participants looked up as he entered but it was the receptionist that recognized him. "Dr. Archeville. Welcome to The Albright Institute, May I help you?"

Your super senses are not acute, which means you can't determine much about your targets. Something you may wish to add on later, but in an OOC form, yes it is Hellbound.
-
Dark Star is outside of the building. You can either be on the ground or still flying. As in actually red colored skin. It is very unnatural. It is not paint. The figure is all human in appearance other than the red skin.
-
Initiative needed for Those left in the thread. Right now, Dark Star has one red skinned man outside on the street with him. Arrowhawk hears feet moving down the stairs. There are a total of four red skinned men combing into the fight.
-
Scarab turns invisible and flies passed Arrowhawk through the large whole. She passes Dark Star as the hero finally arrives on the scene. It isn't long though before Hellbound comes flying out of the second floor window. His body sails across the street only to smash into a mailbox. Hellhound remained in place, his toxic blood dripping to the ground. A loud roar followed as well as a large muscle-bound red skinned man jumped out of the window. He landed on the street with a large boom. Dark Star can see three more red skinned figures can be seen on the second floor, heading down the stairs. Arrowhawk heard the crash of the window breaking and caught a glimpse of Hellbound's landing. He then heard the sound of the attacker landing outside followed by feet running down teh stairs. The lone thug still in the room with Arrowhawk smiled. "Now, you're gonna get it! You'll learn to not mess with us!"
-
Dark Star With the ship saved, Scarab decides to leave the rest of the rescue work to the authorities. Dark Star continues to float through the decks of the ship and notes that the upper levels are free of people. However, about midway through the ship, he notes Arrowhawk working at trying to get some children out of a room. Dark Star diverted his path closer to Arrowhawk's location, he notes combat happening further down in the cargo hold. The two combatants continue fighting and Dark Star sees the normal shaped one fly back, hitting the bulkhead and slipped unmovingly to the floor. Five other figures rummaged through crates, ignoring the fight.

Not a problem. If things change and the thread is still on, you're welcomed to rejoin.

No one character is essential to the plot. If you decide to pop back in, you're more than welcomed.

Sammy smiled at teh words, "You and me both." Still, the ever skilled B&E man looked back at the wall wondering how the information had limited their actions. 'Well, there goes any walking in and grabbing what I want. This is going to have to be the hard way I guess.' "So Jos, you feel like climbing over the wall? Either that or simply going through the front gate. There's still a good chance that we'll get picked up once we cross this wall, but It might allow us some working room." Sammy rubbed his chin in thought. "Let's try the bluff at the gate. You're pretty convincing, aren't you? Say we're here to do some work on plumbing or something. Also, how long does it take for you to switch over into combat readiness? I don't want us caught unprepared but would like to keep our profile as low keyed as possible."
-
And what were these errors? I'm curious. As for the dimensional plane, I've never played M:tG so have absolutely no understanding of what you're trying to do. As it is listed, I again ask, is it a pocket dimension that you're making that you can use to keep things and use to dimension hop?

Drugs. From the powerhouse or some other agency that help increase his strength. That's just my idea, but it might work.
