Just saw this going on. I'm trying to catch up on some back log that I need to do, but I'll see what I can do for you guys.

Advanced things to a point where Dark Star and Scarab can actually do something. Arrowhawk is still at the same point as listed in the last post for him.
-
Dark Star and Scarab Together the two heros finally manage to ground the cruise ship, freeing them up from the danger of having the ship sink while people are evacuated. The massive use of power beings to hit Dark Star and he slumps slightly in place as he lets his power disappate. The dinosuar tilts its head and slowly moves over to the winded hero. Like a dog, it nuzzles Dark Star in a quizzical manner. People on the deck also look worried at Dark Star's visible lack of strength. Voices begin to rise as panic begins to settle back into their mind. Thought he ship was relatively safe from sinking, most of the people continued to worry about drowning. From Scarab's position, she could no longer see the power boat that came to the cruise but she can see helicopters coming towards teh ship. She easily makes out the Freedom City rescue markings up on the crafts. With their presence, getting people to solid ground would be easy. She was free to investigate what had caused the problem to begin with.

Yeah, just saw a lot of them moving around at the airport. We'll see how things work out with timing. Right now, got to catch up with the back log.
-
Well, when you get closer, you can get a better look. :D
-
I'll be getting to this this weekend. Got at least a day before I head off for a trip then it's going to be quiet until June. But at least I should get you started this month.

With Sammy pointing out the markings on the wall, Bel can make them out. I need a Knowledge: Arcane Lore roll DC 20 [Normally DC 15 but due to the distance, +5 circumstance bonus] to figure out what the runes are for. Due to Belphegor's demonic nature, he can make the roll untrained.
-
Now closer to the wall, Sammy catches a glimpse of light refelcting upon the wall. "Hey, Jos, what do you make of that? Did you catch that light? It looks like runes written on the wall. Any idea what they say?" Sammy points out the area where he noticed the markings on the wall. Even with Sammy's help pointing them out, it takes Belphegor some time to pick them out. Unfortuantely, they are still too far away to make any clear sense out of.
-
The area surrounding the building must be holy ground. During his test with Legend, he felt the sting of holy attacks and this area was obviously warded against demonic intrusions. Game effect, any attacks done within the confines of the walls are considered holy attacks. :)

Some notice checks. For cameras Dc 25 Ghost check: Notice security cameras DC 25 (1d20+13=33) For the wall DC 30 Ghost check: Wall notice DC 30 (1d20+13=30) For the strange feeling Bel has DC 15

Sammy thought about the options before them. "I tend to like to check a place out before I hit it. Even if for a short time. See what kind of security there is on the place." Sammy pointed at the wall. "See there and there? That makes five cameras on this side alone. Who knows what other security measures he has in place." 'If it was just me, I could easily get by those. They wouldn'T even notice my presence. Probablly everything else in this place would simply ignore me. Can't simply walk in like I normally would with Jos here.' "Let's find a place to hide the car and come back to get a better look at the place." It doesn'T take long for Jos to find a location that was perfect for hiding the car. Together, the two moved back towards the house and its wall to get a better look of what they were up against. As they moved closer, Jos could feel the hair on the back of his arms being to rise in a very uncomfortable way. The two villains found a clumb of bushes that afforded them a clear view of the wall, the entrance and part of the western edge of the building. Still about 100 ft from the wall, the two take their time to watch the area.

Alan shakes his head at Mercy's outburst. "No, it isn't. I admit that a strong offensive is usually the best defense, but there are times that going fully defensive is your only option. It's best that you at least have a healthy respect for that way of thinking." Again a refreshment table is brought out and Mercy is given time to rest up. As she rested, workers came out placing large hoops around the room. It was clear that it was some kind of obstacle course. With the varying height of the hoops, Mercy was sure that it had to be a test of her flight ability. Once everything was set up, Alan turned to Mercy. "We're ready for your next test. We'll be testing your fliying ability. There are four stages to this obstacle course. You have three chances to complete each stage of the course within the time limit. Good luck."
-
STAGE THREE This stage will test her flight abilities. A power check vs the various Dcs listed below. She gets three attempts to beat each area of course. Again extra effort can be used at any time but the fatigue will last for the rest of the rolls. If an HP is spent, then it is gone for the rest of the test. Part 1 -- Average DC 10 Part 2 -- Tough DC 15 Part 3 -- Challenging DC 20 Part 4 -- Formidable DC 25

Looks good to me. Here's your first one. Approved

No need. Just make a clear note in your OOC thread that it can be locked up will do. The last post you did here is why I asked about the thread. "Combat is over" gave me the impression that you were finished. Take your time.
-
Sure why not.
-
Finally got the first post up. Sorry for the delay. I'd like to try to get this finished quickly so that you can start playing the PL 10 version. So making this a little easier than originally thought.

(Continuing from Collecting a Debt) The drive from the Boardwalk to Lantern Hill didn't take long though it felt like it. Neither of the two occupants of the car talked to each other preferring to remain locked in their own thoughts. The present circumstance that brought the two together was not welcomed. Sammy, also known as The Ghost, stared out of the window as the scene changed. His mind was wrapped around the job that was placed before them. He turned slightly to regard the driver, his companion on this particular job. They had worked before but that was what had gotten them into this mess. The man driving wasn't really a man, at least that's how Sammy understood the situation. In realtiy, it was a demon that had possessed the body of a human. In his present form, he went as Jos, but when in his work clothes, was known as Belphegor. Together, they tried to rob one of the Casinos in Boardwalk, the Golden Calf, but the job went horribly wrong. Now they were travelling to Lantern Hill in search of a George Kapetelis to retrieve a coin. Overkill for the two of them if it was a simple coin. Obviously, something about the coin made their particular skills highly useful. Sammy turned back to watching the road and quickly sat up. "Hey, is that it?" Just up a road stood a large house, well back from the main road. The house was white with a large wall surrounding it. The house itself actually was more like a mansion than a simple house. Not many people wanted to live in Lantern Hill due to the large cemetary in the area which allowed those brave enough to live near the dead, plenty of room to build thier homes. George Kapetelis was just a one. "Big place. With a wall like that, he must be hiding something."

Are you finished with this? Can it get locked up?

Teir level is up to you. I think he's fine as Tier 2 though. That seems to be the standard for most NPCs anyway. Now on to the check. Adds up. Thanks for the change with combat and Def. Makes him more rounded. You need to list your protection here in the toughness section. Toughness +5 (+0 w/o suit) Decided to drop the Will save huh? Okay. I guess he won't be hunting many mental supers. Adds up and looks good. Looking good. Adds up. Good write up on the HQ. Clear and concise. The Device should be rank 5 not 4. Again, you forgot to list the Aps in the main blast power. should look like this: Blast 8 (Normal Rounds; Extra: autofire; PFs: 9APs, improved range 4, ricochet, subtle, affects insubstantial) Okay. Make the above changes and we can move you on.

Think of it as baddies then everyone else. So Once I post the baddies' actions, the heroes can post their actions.
-
Then so are we. Approved

Sounds interesting. Of course, you could do the story in a normal thread as well. That would allow others to jump in if you're inclined to having people to play off of. Becareful with the "kill" point. I understand you want her to have problems holding back, but try to get her to control that aspect as quickly as possible. Perhaps some information on this world's Erin would be nice. Give the Refs a reason to bring up the mistaken identity angle. Could be handled in the extended background. Adds up no problems. All of this works out. Only problem is formating. List the Bold the power and rank. Place the AP underneath the main power. Title the DC block. Take a look at some of the other characters to see how to fix things up. Adds up.

Is this character still being worked on? There hasn't been any posts since the beginning of May.
