Might as well write it up and send it in. It never hurts to get a story out when you have it in mind.

I'd say, May 24th sounds good. Right before the summer. Actually, I beleive his test actually happened during the arrival of the others. Stephanie mentioned the test in that thread so the same day of that thread works well.

Would have never thought that the sidekick would take more time to finish than the main character. Okay, here's the problem, when you buy your stats, you keep forgetting that Growth adds to it, which changes your starting point. With your latest figure, I've listed the base of each ability, which includes the growth. From those totals, buy the stats you want. OLD NEW BASE So start your buying of stats from the New Base stats which include your growth. Combat is fine the way it is. OLD NEW BASE Again, once you buy your Stats, you can buy your saves using the New Base above. The above [skills, Feats, Powers, Drawbacks] are fine. this may change depending on how you spend your points.

Alan's laughter at teh question proceeds the appearance of workers entering with the refreshment table and chair. "Nothing, but it was fun to watch. It'll only be a short while before we start the final stage. Relax and enjoy yourself." A short time later, the lights flicker again, and Alan's voice comes over the speakers. "This is your last stage. We want to test your piloting skills. There are four courses we want you to fly, each consists of three tricks you have to perform. When you finish one course, you head to the next. Now, we can do this by simulator, or you can pull out your ship. Either way works for us. Just let us know."

STAGE FIVE This stage will test Geckoman's piloting skills. You get to roll three times to beat the DCs listed at each stage. Each part is a different course, with 3 tasks within them. The test can be a simulator or actual flight time with the Pitachoo. Extra effort or an Hp can been used at any time. Part 1 -- Easy course [DC 10, DC 13, DC 15] Part 2 -- Average course [DC 15, DC 18, DC 20] Part 3 -- Challenging course [Dc 20, Dc 23, Dc 25] Part 4 -- Formidable course [Dc 25, Dc 28, Dc 30]

Yes, the extra line is something I see as being needed. Add it and you're done.

Okay, only one point I would like to check out. The last line of this section seems odd to me. What do you mean by "supernatural being"? I don't think it would be smart of him to sell his soul to magic just to take out one person that escaped his death trap. Using magic items to further his goal, is fine. turning mystics against themselves is also fine. It's jsut the becoming a slave to a mystic I can't see happening the way you wrote him up. Perhaps make it clear he will team up with mystics for as long as they are useful to him.

I like the change. It makes him all around deadly to people without mind shield which is great. Go with it and you're done.

Hmmmm, perhaps I wasn'T clear. If you had kept the Penertrating 4 on your strength, you would be over by 2pps. To keep the Penertrating, you would have to take off 2pps somewhere. Right now, you removed the penertrating as well as removed pps from other places dropping you further from the max 45pps. EDIT:I see what you did. You didn't put the Growth bonus into your str and con, but I was counting them as if you had! Give me a second to relook at things. Okay, you're breaking caps again. Your Str is too high. With 8pps bought, then the +8 gained from size, it puts way over PL caps on damage. That brings your str to 26 (+8). Drop your bought Strength by 8pps and put them somewhere else. Either into skills, increase Int and Cha back to normal levels, increase saves, or add another ability.

This is the ooc thread for the Turf Wars storyline.

Welcome to the boards! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.

Not all movies get realesed here. It might have went straight to video so you might ask him to check the rental stores. They are just starting a "Netflix" style of service here in Japan anyway. That might help things out a lot. Also there are a few free movie sites for the Japanese. Tell him to look up Gyao. There might be a movie or two that he wouldn't mind watching. It's free and they have things in English.

Man, sometimes I miss being in the States. Recently, I've been keeping track of all the movies I see in the theater. I actually prefer it to DVDs. The atmosphere is just great. Anyway, I managed to see 63 films in teh theater last year. Not a bad number considering that in 2007 I saw about 53. This year looks to be fairly good. I've already seen five and this month looks to have a new one come out every week. Now if only my wallet can handle it. To make matters worse, I still enjoy buying DVDs. Yes, that's buy, not rent. I haven't rented a movie in years and I really have no plan on doing it anytime soon. It would really save me money, but I like collecting things. Keep reccomending flicks. They'll reach my area at some point, usually a 3-6 month lag. :(

Yes, that is something we may need to explain. The illusions would still cover sight, but would not give the "shaken". I would have to say the drain doesn't work as it makes a person weaker in teh fact of fear, but would still do nothing to the feat. Now, if you were to fix it somehow to bypass that feat, it would be really nice. I was under the impression that innate abilities had to be permanent. I see I was incorrect. Okay, that makes sense.

Though I haven't completed disappeared, I have slowed down quite a bit. I tend to go in waves and right just happens to be a low point. Hopefully, I don'T lose any of the palyers interested in the storyline I'm getting ready to start.

Looks like a very scary character! There are a few points though. Did you mean to say "...minds capable of feeling fear..." as opposed to "...minds capable of feeling far..." You are aware that anyone who spends 1pp for Fearless would most likely be immune to all of the above powers. As a spirit, he will be unable to affect anyone with his strike power. You would need to buy the affects corporeal extra. Without it, it's pretty much a wash. Which brings up the next point, buying 6 ranks of Penetrating on a strike 1 power. It seems a little cheesy to me. However, since he can't affect corporeal creatures it doesn't matter really if the claws are penetrating.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to this as well. I only see one problem. You list that his strength is penertrating 4, which would cost an additional 4 pps to stats, raising the total to 12pps. This then puts you over the 45pp limit by 2. Suggestions to fix this would be to drop your Cha by 2, which by the way really isn't needed. Or lowering your saves. Not sure where you want to make the changes though.

No, I'll get this moving this weekend. Yeah, it's still open. I'm just late in getting things started.

Sammy looked down at the questionaire and frowned at the questions it asked. Designation: Origin: Power source: Please Describe your Abilities in detail: Any Known Weaknesses: Do you use your powers actively in Freedom City? Yes No If yes, in what way? The simple form didn't have much on it but neither did Sammy really want to answer with the truth. 'Hmm, how do I answer these to the extent they want without giving away important information about myself? I could wipe the information later when I complete the job, but who knows. Best to cover my tracks now as well.' Sammy took the pen and began to answer the questions.
-
No they haven'T. I've been slightly busy with RL and other things. When I get the threads started, I'll post links here. Sure that's not a problem. What area does he work out of? Lincoln or Southside?
-
Sammy wiped his mouth with the napkin. His lunch was plain seeing that he wanted to stay near the Institute as well as grab a quick meal. 'So, Sammy, how are you going to get the information? A day heist? A night heist? Either would be interesting enough, but I need to know the layout of the area. Perhaps a simple visit will work.' Sammy stood and walked back to the Institute. With a smile upon his face, he walked through the main door and approached the receptionist. "Hello. Um, I heard that the Institue was insterested in having volunteers. Can you direct me to where I should be?" The rexeptionist looked at Sammy for a moment before taking out a clipboard and handing it to him. "First, please fill out this form. When you're done, someone will be along to take you to the testing room." Sammy took the offered clipboard and moved to an empty chair. 'I hope this works.'

Happy Birthday. Here's hoping you have many more great years.

Shortly after Gabriel left the room, the lights flickered and his voice came over the speakers. "Your first tests is fairly easy. We would like to test the extent of your hellfire control. There are four parts to this test. The first test, you must hit three different targets with yoru normal control. The second part, you must hit three targets that are located at different distances at the same time. The third part, you must hit a group of targets that are bunched up. The last part is a combination of the previous parts. You must hit the three targets all at once without hitting any of the bystanders. Good Luck."
