You get to rool three times per target. So that's 3 attempts to hit person A, 3 attemtps to hit person B, 3 attempts to hit person C. Unless you made your explosion power, targeted, only the person's reflex save gets roll. As you haven'T listed if it was targeted or not, I assume that it isn't. For this thread, you make all the rolls. I will give you the person's bonuses only. Again, you get 3 attempts at each target. The same as the explosions goes here as well. You get to write up the post anywya that you wish as well. REmeber you get three attempts per target.

Well, you still need to get a second ref to look things over, but I suspect that he'll be finished before you really need him in your thread.

Break-In's are right up The Ghost's alley. Normally he goes for art objects but then again, with Jos in on the job it might be interesting. Unfortunately, I'm so busy doing other things, I doubt I have time to jump in. :(
-
Yeah! I recently watched the DVDs of Season 1 and 2 and was really interested in the storyline they were going to do for the second season. Too bad it got chopped up due to the strike. So far they're doing okay, but that day long eclipse was a little over teh top. Hopefully, we'll see some really good stuff happen during the second half.

Glad you enjoyed it. And for all those other villains looking for a thread to play in, a place to show off your powers without having to find a partner, or even a villain looking to create a reason for upgrades, Drop a line here to get your own POWER CHECK thread. Or you can PM me. :D

Looks okay. I've made aslight edit to show your Darkness control costs 14pps not the 12 that was still isted, raising your Powers to 76pp. Now, background on the character. What is the purpose of hte NPc? Who can use him? What's his motivation.

STAGE ONE This stage will test Ignis' ability to use his Hellfirecontrol. You have three attempts to hit the various DCs of each target. Additionally, each part will test a different aspect of his hellfire ability. You may use Extra Effort at any time. Condition from the use will remain for as long as the stage, however, you be at full strength come the next stage. You may use a HP at any time but once used, you will no longer have it for the rest of the thread. Part 1 -- Normal setting A: Def 20, B: Def 25, C: Def 30 Part 2 -- Explosion setting A: Ref +6, range 0 B: Ref +6, range 20ft, C: Ref +6, range 50ft Part 3 -- Cloud setting A: Ref +6, B: Ref +8, C: Ref +10 Part 4 -- Mixed crowd [requires Selective PF for success] A: Ref +6, B: Ref +8, C: Ref +10

Gabriel's eyebrow rises at the request. "No, usually there is no mental probing of student's mind. We do like to test their resistance to intrusions though, any breaches end at surface thoughts. If there is nothing else, we'll begin the test as soon as I leave the room." Gabriel waits a moment before wheeling himself out of the room.

Abilites should be listed at 32pp not 42pp. [16+16+2+8-10=32] Skills look good. Adds up. Okay, a little format change. Please list the PFs in your Darkness control. Also, Bold the power and rank as well as list them in alphabetical order. Darkness COntrol 5 (100ft radius; PF: 2APs) [12pps] Your teleport should only move additional 200lbs, not 250lbs. AP pps can't be used in the AP so you're limited to 10pps ony. The same with the snare. You have a total of 10pps to spend, not 11pps. So you'll have to change your Obscure effect on the snare. Defense is off. He has dodge focus 3, which means he has to pay for 9 points on the Defense. Should be 18pps for Defense, raising total to 30pps for combat. Looks good. Looks like you noted the Combat change here though. This puts you at 193pps. You still have 2pps to play with. I suggest dumping them into your Darkness array, bringing it up to Darkness control 6 that way, you can keep your teleport and snare as is without changing them.

ArmyofOne Hero Eyeonthemountain -- PL 6
MBCE replied to eyeonthemountain's topic in Archived Characters
Looks good. Did a slight edit to include the PL in the title as well as removed the extra bracket in the Strike area. Approved -
Can you convert the above to the standard format we use for all PCs? It will really make things move quicker. Once you've done that, we can get to looking at it.
-
I see. Well in that case, he can pop in later. :D
-
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I just hope I can do as good of a job as those before me did. Oh, I do take the occasional bribes as well. ;)

Gabriel frowns at the mention of combat. "Well, as you know we are a school first off. You shouldn't have to worry about combat here. Yes," he adds quickly with a wave of his hand, "we do help train our students to defend themselves, but our main purpose to ensure that they can control their abilities." Gabriel puts the clipboard aside. "I think I have a enough to begin. Let me expalin the tests. There are five stages that will examine various aspects of your abilities and training. Before each stage, the room's light will flicker indicating the test will begin. I will then explain your task. When you have completed the stage, you will be given time to refresh yourself so that we get an accurate reading. Do you have any questions?"

He can be in multiple threads at the same time. There is no need to wait unless your plate is full with other things. Not sure how coming later would work out, but it shouldn'T be a problem either way.
-
The basic prologues are finished. Now for the main threads and the other players to jump in. One last shout out from teh following people. Going to Southside and joining Arrowhawk, will be Slamdance and the Scarab II. Going to Lincoln and joining Chill Out, will be Wesley and Red Star. Ignis can in up at either I think, but most likely Southside since it is closer to Bayview. Is everyone still in?
-
Nope. We'll be moving to Southside and introducing a few more characters. I'll use the same title though to keep the story together. I'll post that link here once I make it and set things up.
-
Gabriel listened politely, taking notes hear and there. When Ignis had finished, he again spoke up. "You mentioned Techno-magic. I know of a few that can do magic, but have never heard of this mixture. Could you explain what your abilities are? Also, have you noticed these changes due to being on our planet or did you exhibit them on your homeworld as well?"
-
Lenny nodded his head. "What I know is that the weapons have fallen into the hands of the Skinheads. They hit a friend of mine's place a few months ago. Perhaps you heard of him, Monty Jacobs. He runs a garage in Southside. It wasn't until I started to piece things together." Lenny looked directly at Arrowhawk as he continued. "The hit in North Bay, with the robbery at Monty's got me thinking. It looks like the Skinheads are into some major business. The last piece was when I heard about them trying to take out a truck carrying some very powerful stuff. I don't think they got what they were looking for as one of the super-villains popped up along with some heroes to spoil the job. Southside is where you have to look for answers, Arrowhawk. I'm sure those Skinheads are up to no good."
-
Sorry for the delay. I'll let you do one more post, stashing your clothes and heading to the youth center before I start teh next thread which will be at the center.

Javier shook his head. "No, I didn't. Are you planning on heading over there? I don't know anyone that might have information. " Javier looks down at the unconcious kid. "I can make sure the cops pick him up so that you can do your thing."
-
That is really messed up. Let this be a lesson for everyone trying to get into a business that copyrights are invovlved with. Make sure you keep all rights tied directly to you and not to the companies that you may not stay with. :shame:

Workers come in and remove the remains of the test as well as bring in the table of refreshments. It doesn't take them long to clean up the mess but Chris notes that they continue working, setting up four different stations. When the preparations were completed, the lights flickered. Alan's voice came over the speakers again. "Your next test will let us know how far in your schooling you have come. There are four different stations that you must go to. There you will be asked to complete a task. You must go to each station but the order is up to you. The four stations will examine your Creativity, Intellect, Practical application, and Charisma. Good luck."

STAGE FOUR This stage will test Geckoman's skills. You may use one skill from each of the four categories to beat the listed DCs. You get three chances to beat the DC before moving to the next section. Once you use a category, it can no longer be used. You may take 10 or 20 if the skill allows it. The fourth part entails an opposed check. Roll the opposed check along with your own. Each time you take a retry, re-roll the opposed roll as well. For example: 1-d20+10=15 vs your roll. YOu fail and decide to try again. Reroll both. Skill catergories: Creativity [Craft skills]; Intellect [Knowledge skills]; Practical application [Computers, Disable device]; Charisma [bluff] Part 1 -- Tough difficulty DC 15 Part 2 -- Challenging difficulty DC 20 Part 3 -- Formidable difficulty DC 25 Part 4 -- Opposed difficulty d20+10
