Let's see if I can get you back in the game. His fortitude and reflex saves need to be fixed. Below are the corrected version. Fortitude: +4; -3 out of suit (+4/-3 Con, +0) Reflex: +7; -2 out of suit (+7/-2 Dex, +0) I'm counting 76 ranks which makes it 19pps. You have the number correct in the totals area, but not in the title of skills. Please fix. EDIT: Actually went ahead and did the changes for you as they were fairly minor to begin with. Took me some time to read everything, but reading the work you did with the Doc, helped a lot get this moved through quickly. re-Approved

Yes, the Arena is a very nice place for Villains to meet one another. Also, it is where you can participate in your own Power Check thread just like Belphegor! The Arena is also the place to do sparring matches with other like minded villains as well as networking for jobs. A very good lace for those on the wrong side of the tracks!

As he enters the room, Legned's voice again is heard. "As a demon, you must be wary of those blessed by deities for their attacks are targeted directly against your unholy nature. Here, you will test your resolve to withstand the pain that these attacks will cause you. Stand strong and you will no longer fear facing those blessed attacks."
-
STAGE TWO This stage will test Belphegor's ability to resist attacks aimed specificially at his demonic nature. All the attacks will be holy, bonus due to his vulnerability has been added in the DCs. You have three chances to overcome the DCs. Again, extra effort can be used at any time, the effect will remain until the end of the stage. An HP can be spent at anytime, though it will be gone for the rest of the thread. Each part targets all four saves. Roll against the DCs in any order that you wish in a section. So for each part, you can get up to three chances to overcome each save DC [a total of 12 rolls max per part]. None of the attacks are penertrating. Your condition will reset after each save attempt so that you are never at a negative when rollling, unless you want to be. Extra effort's bonus will allpy for all rolls after it's first use. Part 1 -- Average difficulty [F,R,W DC 11, Toughness DC 16] +0 attack Part 2 -- Tough difficulty [F,R,W DC 14, Toughness DC 19] +3 attack Part 3 -- Challenging difficulty [F,R,W DC 17, Toughness DC 22] +6 attack Part 4 -- Formidable difficulty [F,R,W DC 21, Toughness DC 26] +10 attack

The room was empty and unfurnished when Chris entered. It wasn'T long before the lights blinking signalling the beginning of the test. Alan's voice came over the room's hidden speakers. "Okay, Chris. This first test will determine how well your senses work. You mentioned that your abilities mimic those of a gecko so were going to see just how far that extends. A number of targets will be placed in the room. All you have to do is notice that they are there. Once you note their presence let us know and we will send in the next target. You will need to find four different targets. Good luck."
-
STAGE ONE This level will test Geckoman's senses. Roll your Notice (+4) vs the set DCs, taking into account the various conditions set forth in the room. You get three attempts at each part to notice the targets. You may use Extra effort at any time to improve your rolls however, the fatigue will remain until the end of the Stage. You may use an HP at any point, however, it will be gone for the rest of the thread. You may write up how the test looks like and any details as you see fit based on the limited information I give you. Part 1 -- Average difficulty DC 10 [Normal Conditions] Part 2 -- Tough diifficulty DC 15 [Low light conditions] Part 3 -- Challenging difficulty DC 20 [Complete darkness] Part 4 -- Formidable difficulty DC 25 [blindfolded]

Lenny shook his head, "Not my kind of job. though I do know a little about who they were working for. A Japanese fella that goes by the name of Mr. Yamaguchi hired the bunch for the job. Now, Yamaguchi is just a low level mutt working for someone else who I unfortunately haven't figured out yet. The main problem is what was being stored in that warehouse." Lenny takes out another cigarette and lights it, giving himself time to gather his thoughts. "Weapons. The kind you find on big namers running around the city. Yamaguchi was able to revtrieve only a few of the boxes he wanted, but it was more than enough to get started. Now those weapons have made their way to the streets." Lenny look directly at Arrowhawk. "I need you to get them out of the streets before all hell breaks out."

What Chill Out knows about the youth center:
-
Javier shook his head slowly showoing his ignorance of the reason. "No, not that I know of," he began but stopped suddenly as a thought hit him. "Unless it has something to do with that group I got arrested the other day!" Javier's voice grew in intensity as he realized that he was most likely on the right track. "About three days ago, I busted up some fellas hanging out near my shop. Hear them talking about the Lincoln Youth Center over on G St. They mentioned something about a gathering happening. I think they said it was going to happen sometime this week." Javier looked at Arthur, "Think that could be why they sent this boy here?"

They can be anything you want it to be. The premise is that it some kind of obstacle course that he has to move the objects through. The precise feat is needed to complete the last part of the stage. This means that it would need a lot more control than moving through the other parts. Write it up any way you like.

That's fine. It was a great read through. And well done. I'll let you put in a quick post for Belphegor's reaction to the refreshments before setting up the next stage. Gives me time to plan it out. So at the end of your post, put in that you head into another room. I'll pick it up from there.
-
Back outside hte chamber, Belphegor found a chair and a table covered with refreshments, just as Legend said there would be. The food and refreshments amazing seem to be everything that the demon found enjoyable to refresh himself. The chair was just the right size to let the him either recline or sit up straight as he needed. All in all, it was just what he needed to regain his strength.

Is this thread still active? Can I close it up or are you coming back to it?

STAGE THREE This stage will test the strength of Quark's Elemental gloves. Roll your power Rank vs the DCs set. YOu get 3 attempts per part as usual. YOu may use Extra effort or a HP at any time. Remember, the HP would no longer be used for the thread. Extra effort would be cured between the stages, but not the parts. Part 1 -- Average DC 10 Part 2 -- Tough DC 15 Part 3 -- Challenging DC 20 Part 4 -- Formidable DC 25 (requires Percise feat as well.)

"Okay, came Stephanie's response. "We'll test out the air feature of the device." She listens to Darian explain how the device works for a while. A few more moments later the lights blink signalling the beginning of the next stage. "We're going to test the device's ability to move objects of different weights across the room through the course that is set up for you. There will be four stage points through the course, where you'll pick up a different object to complete the next portion of the course. YOu can repeat a ection three times. Good luck."

Okay, Minion time! Due to the size change, you're breaking damage caps for a PL 3 character. You'll need to take the -3 Tradeoff to Attack and Damage to get closer to the Damage caps. That would then mean lowering your Strike to 1 and your Attack to +0. Or you can lower his base Str first and keep your Attack at +3. There are many options for you. Below are corrections to the sheet that do not include the Trade Offs. Don'T forget to add the benifits that size gives you. +2 Str and +1Con per growth rank, which raises your Str to 20(+5, +1penertrating), your Con to 18(+4). Your +1 penerating point should be included in the cost. In the totals, you have it correct though. Please add your size mods here as well. After the adjustment, list that it is due to size. Attack: +2 (includes -1 due to size) Defense: +2 (includes -1 due to size) List these long ways. I know it doesn't make much sense with so few, but better to stay with the format. Please list the Benifits of your Growth in the line. Growth 4 (Str +X,Con +X; -X atk/Def; PF: XX;Flaw:XX) Due to the increase in size, your damage would be Dc 22 (3 of which would be penertrating). This puts you over the Damage cap for a PL 3 character. Costs: Abilities (3) + Combat (12) + Saves (12) + Skills (2) + Feats (2) + Powers (22) - Drawbacks (-8) = Total Cost 45
-
Okay. Simply correct the title of your power section points from 21 to 22 and you should be done. EDIT:I did it for you so that you can get started. Approved
-
Then you have your second Approval.

Happy Birthday Thevshi!

When Arthur reaches the boy, he sees that the body was breathing normally. Near his body was a large rubber pellet. "He isn't dead," Javier said as he came around the corner empty handed. "I use rubber pellets. Hits with a bang and stings, but doesn't kill them. BLack Avenger turned me on to them back in the day. Told me this was the only way to give these kids a chance to get their lives back in order." The shop owner hands Arthur a towel to use to cushion the boy's head. "The real question is why would he want to rob me?"

The room Belphegor entered was empty. As soon as the door closed behind him, Legend's voice rang out in the room. "Your task is simple, Mr. Belphegor. You have the ability to affect emtions but you must see how best to use that ability. You must use your power to make each victim before you feel some kind of emotion, your choice. You may attempt to subvert control on a subject up to three times before moving to the next target. There will be four different targets to face. Good luck."
-
STAGE ONE This first stage will test Belphegor's ability to affect the emotions of others. The stage is made up of 4 parts. Each part gives different Will bonus to resist his emtion control. He gets 3 attempts to affect each target in a part. He may use extra effort at any time but the fatigue will remain until the stage is complete. Spending an HP for a reroll is also possible, but once used, it is gone for the thread. Any fatigue ocured will be cured before the next stage begins. Please roll the target's Will save versus your DC 16 Power ranking. You may write up the post any way you wish. Part 1 -- Average Adult Will save +0 Part 2 -- Gifted Will save +3 Part 3 -- Best in World Will save +6 Part 4 -- Moderate Superhuman Will save +9

Here's the boy's save. He's shaken, taking -2 to attacks, saves, and checks. Initiative Chill Out 16 Boy 11 Javier 9 Round 1 Chill Out intimidates the boy while changing into his ice form. The boy, shaken fires at Javier missing wildly before trying to run out of the store. Target -- 1 Javier, 2 Chill; Attack roll (1d2=1, 1d20=3) Javier raises his shot gun from behind the counter and fires at the fleeing boy, hitting him in the back, knocking the boy unconcious. Attack DEF 12; TOughness DC 20 (1d20=15, 1d20+3=4)
-
Just ran out of time the other day. :D
-
Arthur's sudden change from normal to ice covered does more than his words to unnerve the boy. His eyes goes wide and he takes a quick shot at Javier which goes wide. Even before he sees where the shot went, the boy begins running for the exit, away from the ice covered super. Javier, already in the motion when Arthur began his change, raised his weapon above the counter and fired into the fleeing boy's back. The blast is enough to drop the poor boy to the ground unconcious. With the boy knocked out, Javier turns his eyes upon the transformed Arthur. "So that's what you do at night, huh? Question is, which side are you on?" Javier keeps the shotgun in hand, unsure as to how Arthur is going to react.
