The above is correct. You have 2 more charges left.

Arthur realizes that the boy is wearing the colors of the Southside C's, a gang that pretty much own the streets of Lincoln. However, the colors are not of a full fledged member. He is obviously on his initiation mission which in Arthur's expereince could range from simply robbing a place to killing someone. He notes that Javier's hands are below the counter, but not sure why. Ran out of time. Will handle the intimidate when I get some more time. You can make a post showing you know the above information, though.

I'm going to wait until you finish the placement test thread before making these edits.
-
I'm going to hold of making these edits for Quark until you complete your placement test thread. Also, you would prefer that you spend all of the point and not keep ".25" in the pocket. If you're going to increase your skills, spend the 4 ranks.

Okay, for ease of review, can you take the game details of the HQ and Equipment, and list themoutside of your descriptive text? For example: HQ 4ep [Toughness X; Size X; Living quarters, Library, Workshop] (descriptive text) On the point of your sword. If the sword's Toughness is only 7, then you'll only be able to do +7 damage with it. If your Str and the sword bonus goes over the weapon's Toughness, you'll end up breaking it. Stats are at 34pps, listed as 34pps. Okay. Combat are at 34, listed as 34pps. Okay Saves are at 9, listed at 9pps Okay SKills are at 100r=25pps, listed at 84r=21pps. Needs to get changed. Feats are at 29, listed at 33pps. Needs to get changed. Powers are at 24, listed at 24pps. Okay. Drawbacks are at 5, listed at 5pps. Okay. Abilities (34) + Combat (34) + Saves (9) + Skills (25) + Feats (29) + Powers (24) - Drawbacks (5) = 150 pp Once you make these changes on your sheet, I'll look at the minions.

Sorry for the delay. I wanted to make sure I had enough time to read everything and go over all the points before starting on the check. A very detailed description and Background! Great read through. One question though, in the last section of the Background, you mention that Daedalus might susspect the change in personality. However, Daedalus hadn't met Lazurus, but Ned Ludd. Did I misinterpret the section? This would pertain to Lazuraus as well, correct? So, how does Lazuraus dress, get to his functions or give his talks? Also, exactly what are you calling "modern machines"? Okay, your equipment isn't listed on the sheet. Swords allready have the mighty feat on it making your sword Damage +8 (+3 for sword and Str +5) since your Str doesn't go over the Toughness save of the wweapon (which is usually 7 or 8) Full plate is 6ep, the sword is 5ep, and the headquarters is how many eps? I'll wait for these points to be fixed before moving on to the minions.

Thanks Doc!

That is true. Don't see why he's so reluctant to tell people he stubbled across it though. Would be interesting if people knew.

Alan nods his head, accepting the explination and making a mark on his clipboard again. "Okay, Chris. One other thing we need to know is exactly what do you know of your powers? We like to set the placement tests based on what the students already know of their abilities. Also, the question comes in that we need to know if you want to add this," Alan says with a wide gesture to include the ship, "to your test as well."

I need a Current Event Dc 15 or Streetwise Dc 10 from Arrowhawk to see if he knows of the details of the Yamaguchi Job thread.
-
Lenny snorted and threw the bud away into the dark street. "Yeah, it's above board." Lenny looks from side to side checking the street for other people before continuing. "Did you hear about that Warehouse that was hit up in North Bay a while back?"
-
I need a Streetwise DC 10 check from Arthur as well as a Notice 15. Also an initiative check as well to speed things up. For rolls, please put in the character name, [Payback] Chill Out, to let me know which rolls you use. Rolls not using this tag will not count. Here's the boy's Initiative and Javier Boy's Initiative; Notice Dc 15 (1d20+1=11, 1d20=10) Javier initiative (1d20=9) I'm using the stats of a thug for the boy, and the reporter for Javier.

At the sound of Arthur's voice, the boy turns, swinging the gun around to face him. His face shows his surprise at seeing Arthur there but he quickly swings his gun back towards Javier while stepping back slightly to keep both in his sight. "Yo, get on the floor, man! Give me your money!"
-
Went ahead and dumped the spacing you did on the Stat block. It wasn'T needed. I just needed you to fix the Dc save. Here's your first Approval. Now you get to wait for the next Ref to look things over.

It's that time again. Here are the latest list of pps gained for the month of December. For the most part, it was a slow time all around. Remember, the pp awards are based on the number of posts. If you have a character, there is no need to wait for a Ref to get free before starting a thread. Player driven threads are encouraged here on the site. Also, having your characters in multiple threads is important if you want to reach the 25+ posts a month, the minimun needed for 3pps. 15 posts will give you 2pps. 1 post will give you 1pp. :rules:  Also, answering the questionaire gets you a free pp! Simply make a thread in the Freedom News ssection for your character (posts in this thread will count towards the totals as well!) and place the questionaire there.  Participation in themed threads will also grant a free pp! So I hope to see everyone's participation on the site increase this year. :flash:

Javier laughs as he hears the gest. "You're about right about that. I think they try to sell everything from the home land that way." Javier moves behind the counter when the bell by the door rings a young boy comes in. The boy moves quickly to the counter, his back to Arthur, he quickly brandishes a pistol. "Hey old man! Give me everything in the register!" His hand shakes as he demands the money. Javier seems surprised by the gun and freezes in panic.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. You only get 3 attempts to hit a target. Not 3 attempts to hit and 3 attempts to mimic. The test does not work that way. Whether you mimic or not does not matter for this particular test. 3 rolls only please. So he hits Target A on the first roll, but fail to mimic his powers. 1d20+6=24 (hit) 1d20=18 (target saves) He now moves on to Target B which has a Toughness of +5. The below rolls are all not used. 1d20+6=23 (hit) 1d20=17 (target saves) 1d20+6=24 (hit) 1d20=18 (target saves) 1d20+6=22 (hit) 1d20=7 (target doesn't save) 1d20+6=12 (needless roll) 1d20=20 (needless roll) No, he has to hit the targets. There is no success or failure in these tests. They are simply a way to see what needs to be improved on his abilities. The targets can be whatever you want them to be. That's up to you.

Javier smiled as his late night customer entered the shop. The storeclerk had seen him come in on numerous occasions, always wondering what the man did for a living that would bring him out just when the store was about to close up. "You just caught me, Arthur. I was going to close up in the next ten minutes or so. One of these days you're gonna have to tell me what you do. If you came in on a regular schedule, I would think you were a night watchman or something, but with the irregular visits you do put in, I would think differently."
-
Lenny stifled a cry of surprise at teh hero's sudden appearance before him. He had thought he was aware enough of the area to see the masked man's approach but obviously was not. Lenny slowly tookout a cigeratte to give himself a chance to calm down. "Glad you could show, Arrowhawk. I wasn't sure who to turn to and since you did such a nice job of busting up that Casino a while back, I thought you might be interested in doing me a little favor." Lenny looked over at the hero and shifted his feet in the cold night air.

Spamming would be useless rolls. What you should do is roll like this. Target A 1 1 roll 1d20+6;1d20 If you hit on the first roll, you're done and can roll for Target B. If you miss, then you repeat for Target A. Now, if you don'T want to do all of those indiviual rolls, do it this way: Target A part 1 3 rolls 1d20+6;1d20 This will give you all three attempts at once for part 1. You'll go in order down the list so if you hit, you'll know how many times you it took to succeed. Once you use up your 5 charages, break the action and let Stephanie know you've run out of charges.

It depends mostly on how often he gets out of the school. The story will be taking place in the Soutside area of Freedom, mostly Lincoln and Southside but may flow over into other areas. Does he patrol? And if he does, where?

Thanks. Just shows how much free time I actually had during the holidays.
