Just making the rounds. Are you coming back to this thread or are you finished?
-
Other than Leffa's request for a picture upload (I'm still waiting for some kind of link to the picture instead of an attachment), is there anyone waiting for edits to be made to their sheets?
-
Went back over the records and here are the numbers. Sept 3pps, Oct 4pps, Nov 1pp. Which brings you to a total of 158pps. Your save total was off by one dropping it to 8pp which puts your total cost at 156pp/158pp. Hope that helps. Updated by MBCE

Thanks for the quick update. A few more corrections are in order though, formatting as well as the changes you added in. Your Defense should read Defense +5 ((+2 flat-footed, Uncanny Dodge) This will let you show you have the uncanny Dodge feat. Also, you need to put a sense type to your Uncanny Dodge. Feats should be 10pps not 7. You've added a number of extra feats to the list. You still need to list the costs of all your powers as listed in the template format. In your new draft, you haven't listed the cost of your powers. Those numbers need to be on your sheet. Also, when you made your chanages, the numbers went wrong. You have 12pps in your Array which means a number of your APs need to drop. Your Aps are limited by the base power powers. Also, you have 25pps spent here. Your Equipment list wen tup in points as well but you didn't list it in your feat section. That needs to be fixed. YOur saves are off as well. You have +4 from Dex which should be listed. Right now, you have 24pps listed in Saves. On your DC block, Attack focus doesn't add to your DC save. It only adds to your attack roll. With Attack Focus, you break your PL caps. You need to lower your attack bonus if you want to keep the feat. Also, if you decide to keep the Ranged attack focus, you'll need to list that in your combat section. It should look something like this: Attack +5, +6 ranged

Happy New Year! I hope to address every point in one post so as to get you ready for a second look as quickly as possible. Background: Another "outlander" tot he ranks of Freedom city. Good. Also, you have his parents know of his identity. Is the odor problem still in effect? I didn't know it as a drawback or as a complication, but it would matter to creatures with the scent ability. You might want to be clear about that point. Format should be similar to other character sheets. Please convert your sheet to the template found here. It helps speed up the approval process. Points: Ability 10pps spent. Skills 10ranks = 3pps. --You have 2 more ranks to spend. Feats 7pps spent. --You need to list what you're using your Equipment points on. [EDIT] --Undercover vest costs 4eps, not 2. Combat 12 pps spent on attack, 10 spent on Defense total of 22pps Saves 18pps spent --Toughness should be +4, not +6. Protection 4 and no Con bonus gives +4 only. [EDIT] Powers 26pps spent --The array is 2pps per rank, 16, plus the 3pps for APs. --The enhanced feats on Protection and Speed need to be paid for, raising the cost of those powers by 1pp each. Total 10+3+7+22+18+26=86pps

Happy New Year and sorry for the delay. I'll try to catch everything in as few posts as possible so that you can get your second look quickly. Background: Pretty nice write up. I like how you left a lot of room for Complications. Perhaps someone saw him destroy that building, or decide to question D'Aquila's sudden good will. Points: Stats look good. 14pps spent. Combat looks good. 12pps spent. Saves looks good. 6pps spent. Skills 44 ranks= 11pps. -- You don't need to list skills that you don't have ranks in. -- Why does he have such a high level of Stealth? Any particular reason? I know in the background, you have him sneaking around quite a bit, but as a 16yrs old rich kid, would he really have managed to become an expert in the art of stealth? If you could explain this it would help. Feats 7pps spent. --We need to know what you're spending your Equipment points on. Please list that on the sheet. Powers 40 pps spent. --If I understand things correctly, I believe that your absorbtion will work only when he takes damage below his protection level. Total of 90pps spent. Attack block Slam should be listed as having a DC of 21 as was mentioned in the thread on slam. --2 (slam) + 2 (movement power) + 2 (strike PF) = 6 for slam damage The second link is the same as the first. Could you point out the absorption thread link please.

Any way you'd like. Ig you want to waste all that time, then go for it. Normally, it would simply be a question answer session onyour knowledge of crafting. But if you want to show off building something knock yourself out.
-
Any skill that would challenge his strength or dex ability would work. You can play it out any way you wish.
-
Okay. Since those are the two sections where the story will be taking place, let's say you get contacted in Lincoln. I'll try to figure out who contacts you soon.
-
Just like you, the Refs have RL issuses to deal with along with other aspects on the site. It takes time to get to every character sheet up. As for waiting to put up corrections, yes you are correct. It is something that could have happened in few posts, but we are only human. Soemthings catch our eyes a lot quicker than others. The choice is of course yours about the character. Scrapping it or continuing is up to you.

Okay, a good showing so far. Right now just thinking on how to get people into the storyline. Arrowhawk -- would be contacted by Lenny, an informer in the Boradwalk area. They had contact before so it makes sense that he contacts the hero. Chill Out -- could be contacted or get word from one of the gang members. What area does Chill Out usually operate in? That would make a difference. Red Star -- Where does he usually patrol/ operate from? Taht would help give him his set up post. Wesley Knight -- Same goes for Wesley. Where does he hang out in Freedom? Where does he work?

I removed the Alternate power line here as well as updated your attack block with the move object information. Updated by MBCE

Well, considering you posted it on Dec 16th and that we have yet to give out Dec pp awards, you can understand why he hasn't gotten it yet. Thanks for the update though. We'll make sure he gets his point for the work.

Thanks for the change. Okay, looked at the character again and found another small section that needs to be corrected. In Skills, you have Languages 8, but only listed 7 languages. You get one language for free, your base language, and for each point in language, you get another language. Language 8 (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish & Russian) (+8) Also, I'm counting 48 ranks in skills, not 56. Skills: 56r = 12pp Acrobatics 4 (+7), Computers 8 (+13), Disable Device 4 (+9), Investigate 8 (+13), Language 8 (Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Polish & Russian) (+8), Prof: Programmer 12 (+15), Sense Motive 4 (+7)

With Sanctis gone, those uder the effect of his mind control continue trashing every piece of technology in sight. Druid proves the most effective by destroying items in a very large area with his lightning. Gravity Master, spends his time trying to destroy his own belt but fails to even scratch it. Just as suddenly as the urge to destory technology had started, it stops. People stand around in a daze, looking at the meaningless destruction. The two teens, realizing all of the damage that they caused, quickly leave the store, hoping that their presence could go unnoticed. Later that night, the whole incident appeared on the news.
-
"Tonight at Gadgets 'R Us, mayhem occured as numerous patrons began to destroy the store's merchandise. The appearance of two teenaged supers added to the chaos at the store. Eye witnesses at the scene stated that the supers were at first trying to help contain the situation but suddenly began destroying items themselves. Luckily, very few people were injuried as the destructive tendancies were focused on the store goods. Police have already begun investigating the incident and beleive that the strange behavior was caused by another super."

Ok.

Happens that way at times. Teh question was jsut out of his field.

You are correct. Each section gets three possible rolls to make the Dc. So the podium task is complete but you were unable to pass the DC 20 which was called for. You write up the results of the attempts. Now you have to do the Mechanical, Gym, and Classroom sections of Stage One. To be clearer, each stage is made of four parts. Each part must be attempted and you get 3 chances to beat the DCs of each part.So if on the first roll, you beat the DC, you don't have to do the remaining 2 attempts. I hope that makes things more easier to understand.
-
Looks good. Now you have three more parts to write for Stage one. :)
-
Do you have a link to the image? Photobucket or some other hosting site would work wonders. Without a link it is difficult to add it to your character sheet.
-
I removed the picture but did you want to remove the whole history section and replace it with the above section?
-
I've noticed that a lot of people in the Claremont area have been interested in the placement tests threads. I was wondering if the villains of Freedom would be interested in the same kind of threads? Basically, they would occur at the Arena, where they would be given five stages to show off their abilities. For the most part, the rolls and results are handled by the player, I would simply give the set up on what was being tested and set the conditions. For a good example of this style of thread, check this thread. Anyone interested, throw your name here and I'll try to get you started after the holidays.
