I'm looking for both heroes and villains that would be interested in Gang activites with the S South area of Freedom. Both PL 6 and PL 10 characters are welcomed to put their hat in the ring. Perhaps your character is a hero that opperates within the South area of Freedom City and have noticed the recent increase in gang activity. or Perhaps your character is a villain that is contacted by one of the gangs invovled to help tip the scales in their directions. or Perhaps your character just happened to be in the area when all hell breaks loose. I plan on getting things started in earnest Mid January, after everyone is safely back from the holidays. If you think your character would fit a street level story that invovles gang rivalry in anyway, let me know. So far, there is no real limit as to the number of players I want but I think around 6 or 7 will do.

It's been a while since the last IC post. Is this thread ready to be closed up?

The Ghost forwned as he heard the voice. 'Does he have kids in his organization as well?' "Yeah. I was told to call this number when things were in place." Ghost said as he took a look around the area. He was outside, using a disposable cell fo rthe call. He figured Grey knew how to find him, but the cell provided just a little protection from anyone else tracking his location. "What's next?"

The Ghost looked down at the number that Maximus Grey had given him during their first encounter. It had taken him a few weeks to feel up to the task that Grey wanted him to perform but he wasn't looking forward to facing the impossing figure again. 'I've got to be crazy to want to deal with this man! But I already took the gold he left and it isn'T something i want to simply hand back.I'll have to play my cards carefully and hope that Lady Fortune keeps her eyes on her favorite guy.' The Ghost picked up the phone and dialed the number. He waited to see whose voice came on the other end.

Quick couple of points that need to be worked out. Are you taking a tradeoff? If not, then your Toughness should be maxed at +10. This means your con score won't play a part in your Toughness score at all as long as you ahve yout Force field up. If youare using a trade off of -1 Defense for +1 Toughness, then you need to put this in the Trade off section at the top of your sheet. On your nullify touch AP, what does it nullify? You didn't list it.

The people affected by Sanctis power is presently in the following sections. Media, Cell phones. These two sections have people under his direct control. People in the game section are no longer within his direct control as they were hit during his entrance to the store. After a mintue they will get their saves to break free. AS to giving cover, I'm unsure as to what you're looking for. The store is a mess with security not under mental control trying to stop customers. The heroes are presently under Sanctis control and are trying to destroy tech as the command states. No one has time to even look at Sanctis.

OOC: Everyone else in the place are minions. NPCs with no real power to change anything. I'm going to ignore them unless they are in a position to either be a problem for the heroes or the villians. With the heroes under Sanctis' power, the NPCs play no role in the situation.

STAGE ONE This stage will test Quark's skills. You can use any skill that will fit in the section. Some of the locations have been specificically chosen for skills that you have no ranks in. You have three chances to succeed. Mechanical area Heroic level DC 33 [Craft skills, computer, disable device] Gym area Challenging level DC 20 [Acrobatics, swim, etc.] Classroom area Heroic level DC 33 [Knowledge] Podium area Challenging level DC 20 [Diplomacy, Perform, etc.]

After a short moment, the lights flicker and Stephanie's voice comes over the speakers. "Okay, Darian. Here we go. As you have worried about the school's ability to test you, we'd like to get an understanding of just where your limits are. I'm placing a number of items in the room now, that I'd like you to show the limits of your knowledge. Use each station once in any order that you wish. Good Luck." The room transform into four different sections. Within each section are a number of items. There is a mechanical workshop, a gym, a classroom, and a podium.

Stephanie seesm actually impressed witht eh items as Darian explains them. "Good. I'll make sure to include them in the test. I'm going up tot he control room and get things started. Again, you'll see the lights flick and I'll explain the things you must do to pass the stage. Good luck." Stephanie smiles before leaving the room through a side door.

Driud noticed Sanctis moving closer but failed to beat his bluff which by the way was a Dc of 24 when taking ten not 22. Gravity Master wasn't in a postion to see Sanctis' movement. Both fail their Reflex saves, falling under Sanctis' power. Druid blasts the cell phones and displays around him. Gravity Master attempts to pummel his belt with his hands, but is unable to damage the device. [Device has Toughness +14, Gravity Master's str is -1]

Sanctis moves closer to the catch both Druid and Gravity master in his area. Druid notes the movemnt but ignores him to deal with the other crazed people within the cell phone area. Once in position, Sanctis lowers his control on the other people in the store and lets loose his power upon both Druid and Gravity Master. Quickly, Sanctis gives his command to destroy tech and it has an immediate reaction upon the heroes. Druid turns his attention from the people around him and begins to call lightning upon the displays. Gravity Master has a different reaction. As he realizes that he wears technology, he begins beating at his gravity belt. He pummels upon the belt, unable to damage the device with just his hands.

Druid continues working on the people in his area. The distraction lowers his ability to notice Sanctis moving towards him, but the young hero simply takes it for granted his normal condition. Gravity Master, in a different location doesn't even see Sanctis.

Has Quark even used the suit yet? I don't think I've ever seen him use it at all. If you want to add the gloves into the container, buy it to the countainer. Quark is sitting on a quite a bit of pps. Besides, it was a jury rigged device which shouldn't be a permenant item until you pay for it with pps.

As the Doc has pointed out, it would cost 1 HP and the craft check. But then you would be without your HP unless you have the luck feat. Remember, these tests will be pretty much written by you. I'll just give you the guidelines to work with.

Stephanie's eyes widen in interest at the mention o f inventions. "You have some inventions already made? Like what, if you don't mind me asking? We could include them in the placement test as well. Check their soundness and design."

Okay I can see how that works. If you can put the above explination on the sheet, that would help.
