Okay. that pretty much does it for this thread. Thanks for jumping in!

The officer places cuffs on the vigilante and with Raven's help, takes him to the nearby station. There, he is processed while Raven is asked a number of questions dealing with the situation. She finds the experience very easy considering that she does not reveal her true name. "With all the supers running around the city, we make it a point to give the heroes their privacy. It allows them to continue help clean the streets," the officer remarks during the process. After thirty minutes, the vigilante wsa safely behind bars and Raven had completed her part of the process. The Ghost came out of the manhole and looked around cautiously. Well, it looks like everything is clear here. He pulled himself up completely from the sewer and took stock of his present position. He had been travelling through the sewers for the past thirty minutes or so, simply putting distance between himself and the earlier battle. His ability to cut through the tunnels instead of following them as normal simply gave him more distance. Ghost looked down at his clothes and frowned. Now I have to burn these. I'll never be able to wash the smell out of them! At least Lady Fortune had watched out for me. If that hero hadn't shown up when she did, I might not have been able to get away. Too bad that vigilante had interrupted the job. I almost had that painting. Next time I won't fail. With that thought in his mind, Ghost began to make his way back to his home in Boardwalk.

Yes that is correct. Your defensive roll does come back.

Four drones are brought out and set up for Gordy to perform his trick. His music flows over all four of the targets and due to the nature of the test, none try to avoid the effect. Only one of the drones seems to react to the music as it struggles to turn its aggression upon the drone on its right. After making sure that the others wouldn't react to the music, the lights flick signalling the end of the test. Gordy stops singing and feels the effects of trying the stunt. Obviously, he had a long way to go before he could do it on a regular basis, but he was getting closer. Duncan Summers comes in just as the drones are being taken away. He walks over to Gordy with a smile on his face. "Now that was impressive, Gordy. None of your teachers ever thought your control of sound would translate into the ability to affect a person's emotional state." Duncan gestures to the chair brought out for the young man to sit. "I must admit, though, that we stacked the deck against you there. Each of the drones were programmed with different musical tastes. It was something your reaction to the Webber drone earlier had given me. What would happen if your target had different taste in music than the one you would sing? As the drone that reacted was programmed with a dislike for musicals, I would guess you would need more work on your selection of songs. To that end, you'll be getting a new schedule that will include a more diverse exposure to music. So you can expect to hear a lot more of Adrew Llyod Webber."

Are you switching the Save as well? If so, from Will to what? I will assume Will for now, but when you decide to add it to your character, make sure you let them know.
-
The Police officer takes the offered guns and the unconcious man. "Uh, thanks. I'll need your name for the report and you'll have to accompany to the station to write up a report. Also, where is the other fella? The one that you said was being chased? He should come to the station as well."

The Quicker You Start, The Quicker You'll Finish
MBCE replied to Ecalsneerg's topic in The Boardwalk
Seeing Arrowhawk's condition, the man laughed again. "You heroes always think you're so tough. Built to wipe out everything that stands in your way. Well I've got news for you, buddy. This city has had enough of your kind running around interfering with our business!" The man brings his fist right onto Arrowhawk's chin. -
There may be one but it would be up the stairs and out of sight from Arrowhawk.

No problems. Can even go a little longer depending on how long it takes to talk to Kirk. Be aware that the Demon may find a way back to Freedom, and he'll be looking for Heavy.
-
Kirk's weight, while normally unnoticeable due to the power of Heavy's armor, feels like a ton of bricks. It's just another sign of the various strees that Heavy had put on the armor and his own efforts to fight off the demon. After some rest, Heavy knows things will be back to normal but only time will help. Halfway back, Kirk roused from his sleep of the dead. He was slow to realize where he was but when he noticed he was moving, he screamed. "Ahh, no don't kill me!" It takes a moment for Kirk to realize that it was Heavy that was holding him and not the demon. "Wha...what happened? Where are we?" he manages to yell over the sound of wind whipping by.

Okay. I'll edit the last post ot reflect this.

Emotion Control is limited by PL since there is a will save to the effect so he can'T have a rank 12 in the power. Spending those extra points on area effect would be pretty cool. As far as it working, this is your stunt and will work regardless of rolls for this thread. I'll put a few 'drones' of various will saves to gauge Gordy's effectiveness. Also, you mentioned invoking hate, but targeted at what? Hate of Gordy? Or something else?
-
Well you caught him, but I want to wrap this up in a few more posts. Your encounter with the police officer will get played out just to finish things up.

It seems that luck is on Raven's side as the blast hits with enough force to take down the vigilante. With him unconcious, there is no problem for Raven to use her powers to get him and herself topside. It doesn't take her long to find an officer to deliver her package to. The policeman seems surprised by her appearance. "What can I do for you?" he asks after he manages to compose himself.
-
Bumping to the top for the newer people to see. This is a great way to gain an extra power point for the month! It brings the characters to life more as well as improve the city. Also, if you haven't filled out your questionaire for your character, get on it. You can gain an extra power point for that as well!

Next round he gets a +2 to his fortitude save to recover. I don'T see why the vigilante would surrender to Raven as she has no authority being in the sewers either. Unless she wants to detain him, he's going to simply follow the sewer until his vision returns.
-
The man continues to rub his eyes trying to clear them but fails. He places his hand on the sewer wall and begins following it away from the woman ignoring her call for surrender. The Ghost emerged in the next tunnel and let out his breath. He took a moment to look around to make sure he wasn't followed before taking another breath and going through the next wall and the tunnel beyond.

The blast catches him in the eyes and this time, he is unable to avoid the spell's effect. "Arrgh!" he yelled out as he dropped his guns to reach for his eyes. "What did you do to me? I can't see!" Even from around the corner, Ghost could hear the man's scream of horror. He shuddered slightly and moved directly towards the wall. Well he's not going to be a problem for a while. Without stopping, the Ghost took a deep breath and continued right through the wall. He moved quickly as he could not breath while moving through the sewer wall. Need to get as far as possible before she decides to come after me. A few cross walks should confuse her.

Sometimes, work just seems to find me. I got home and there was a message on my machine, the one I set up for work. Some guy wanted me to meet him on the strip. I can tell you I wasn'T very happy with the call but it did seem interesting. I needed something to change my luck and a normal job sure would help hit the spot. So I head out and watch the meeting place just to make sure the guy isn't pulling my chain. After a short time, I approached the contact only to see some kid with red glasses. He tells me to follow him into the alley and there I meet another guy wearing red rimed glasses. This one is at least a man and not some kid so thigns seem a little more on the up and up. That's when he popped up. Maximus Grey. Just thinking about the guy's name sends chills down my spine. I've worked for some hard people before but this guy just oozed trouble. It took all my cool not to bolt when he stepped out of the shadows. I mean, what's a guy to do? If I had run, I wouldn't be able to get any more jobs in this town again. So I decide to play it cool and at least listen to what he's got to say. The man had a bunch more of those glasses wearing lackeys with him. It must be his symbol or something. I'm going to have to make sure to keep my eyes out for that. Wouldn't want one of them reporting on me to the big guy. Turns out all he wants me to do is to break into the Albright Insitute and copy some files on a computer. Fairly simple but then he explains the place is protected by a Super. Actually the guy I got to rip off is a Super. That's something I really don't like to mess with. There's just so many of them in this town that business has become....difficult. Anyway, my computer skills aren't the best in the world. Didn'T think I needed those when I went to the Arena for that fresh up course. I doubt that I can get that kind of training there even if I wanted to. I'm not sure what I think of that Legend fella, but the less I head over there to work on my skills the better I guess. If push comes to shove, it should do but better not to have all my eggs in one basket. I think I'll head over to HIT and enroll in some computer classes. They have some of the newer computers and software there. It should give me the time I need to sharpen my skills and if there isn't, well, buying a software package that will do the job is always an option. Maybe Legend could introduce me to someone willing to do the job.

-
Raven's blast hits again forcing the wind out of the vigilante's lungs. The vigilante doubles up as he tries to regain his breath. The Ghost smiled slightly seeing his pursuer double up in pain. Now that's what he gets for messing with me. Slowly, the Ghost turned and began moving back around the corner out of sight. His feet splashed in the water as he moved but he didn't wait to see if the woman would notice him leaving. Time for me to disappear. She can handle the rest on her own.
