  1. I've seen your post but unfortunately, I have my hands full with the two threads I'm running now. Some advice might be for you to start the thread in earnest, moving things along until you reach a point where you need help. Then perhaps a GM can jump in taking over a NPC or two. For the most part, motivating your own thread works out best to get things started. That way, other people may get interested in teh story and jump in.
  2. Sorry for the delay. I'm waiting to see if Void will do anything this round or not. REgardless if I recieve a post, I'll advanced tomorrow.
  3. Unfortunately, it is a miss.
  4. Norseman bruises the Thug before him. The skinheads fire at Colton but are unable to hit him. The powered thugs all stand up this round, ready to attack next round. Icarus finds his prize still in the truck. ROUND 7 This round the Powered Thugs are up and ready to attack this round.
  5. The Norseman's blow, though powerful, does little to the stunned man before him. Shui moves slightly behind the Van to plan his next actions. Colton's fire draws the attention of the thugs on the roof. Bullets spray out towards the hero, but all fail to hit the agile hero. Icarus sees that the driver had already moved away and he easily walks to the back of the van. The doors are open and inside is the prize that he was searching for. Three stunned skinheads are inside near the container. From behind Icarus, the fallen redskinned men begin to rise slowly to their feet. The normal skinheads are still stunned and slow to move.
  6. Sammy blinks slightly at Whisper's words. 'Hmm, strange words from someone dressed like death. Well, it makes my life more easier if she's not of a killing mind. Had enough problems working with those type of people in the past.' Sammy smiles at Whisper. "Yes, in and out is the best way to do these kind of things. After we're clear, Letta can admit that it was her that did the job. Should do exactly what she wants." Sammy stops and turns to include Letta. "Of course, that assumes its what you want. This is your show. I'm willing to do things anyway you want to do it as long as I get a chance to make some money." Sammy rubs his chin for a moment before his smile widens. "I just had a thought. If during the job, something should happen to that guady statue in the entrance, I would be very happy! Why anyone would keep something that horrible in sight I just don't know."
  7. The shockwave drops all but one of the thugs. Colton arrives just in time to see and feel the shock roll by. Both The norseman and Shui feel the shock to some degree. ROUND 6 Everyone is on the scene. Order will be as listed in the initiative section. I may change that to first post first serve later depending on the quickness of posters. All the thugs but one is prone on street level. The others are still up. Happy hunting...... :D
  8. As Colton arrives on the scene, the ground erupts from a great tremor that knocks all but one of the skinheads onto the ground. Those standing on the buildings waver slightly but are otherwise unaffected by the small tremor. The police, further from the epicenter of the tremor, simply rock back and forth but remain standing. The few cars on teh street jump slightly in teh air near the center of the shockwave, but land with very little damage.
  9. I need Ref saves for Norseman at Dc 19, followed by either a Str,Dex, or Acrobatics roll whichever is higher. Make the DC 19 then your second DC is 8. Fail the first roll and your DC is 21. I need a REf save for Shui at DC 14, followed by either a Str, Dex, or acrobatics roll whichever has the higher bonus. Make the DC 19 Then your second DC is 3. Fail the first roll and your second DC is 16. Coltron is not effected. The ground strike knocks down all but the power thug fighting near Norseman. Those on buildings are immune due to the height.
  10. The sword comes down too quickly for the red skinned thug to avoid the blow. The blow rocks the man's world and he drops the lightpole he was holding in response. He shakes his head in an attempt to clear it.
  11. Your groundstrike will occur this round. Once Colton gives his initiative and puts up his arriving, we'll be moving into initiative order. So far it looks like this: Norseman 22 Shui 14 Icarus 6 The NPCs end up with a 17, putting their actions after the PCs. Initiative (1d20+5=17) I'll be resolving the 5th round actions shortly.
  12. Sammy keeps his face clear of emotion when he first gets a good look at Whisper's eyes. 'What is up with her? She looks like death. Man the people in this town are weird!' Sammy turns his attention to Letta at the question. "Sorry. I didn'T get much of a look of the place. Didn't think that it would be needed. However, if you hit the money cage, that should give us quite a bit of money." Sammy took another drink from the water. "Of course, that means we're in plain sight and at the most guarded location. Not something you really want to deal with. Hey, since it seems you both have some amazing talents, the money cage might not be so bad afterall." Sammy put the water bottle down again as his thoughts began to swirl in his head. He spoke quickly and with energy. "Whisper can slip right into position without being seen. Once she's in place, Letta, you and I can come up and you can do the wohle chilling thing. Freeze a couple of the guards and such to keep them off our backs. I could then crack the safe or better yet, Whisper could have been in a position to get the combination for the safe! We wouldn't even have to be there all that long. In and out. With a little bit of luck from Lady Fortune, we could be out of there before anyone even knew were there!"
  13. Yes. This is when you make your rolls, but it depends on what you are trying to figure out. As this is your thread, you can choose a DC, try to keep it realistic, and roll the skill. Your result would then let you know how much you found out. For example. Ghost has been in the area for some time now, however, he had made it a point of staying away from the Golden Calf. He just dislikes the place. So his information on the place would be weaker than on the other casinos in the area. This I'll show by raising the DC on his notice check. Normally, I figure for him to know where the casino had their main office would be a DC 15. He never really looked around the place with an idea of robbing it. Add on an additional +5 to the DC due to his limited exposure to the Casino and that makes it a DC 20 for him to know where the office is and perhaps how many guards were visible. If he gets a 15 on the roll, he'll know the general idea where the office is but not how to access it nor how many people were guarding the entrance. I pick up my dice and.....Notice on main office DC 20 (1d20+5=6) Which means, Ghost really didn'T pay much attention to where the office is at. :D
  14. 'Damn it!' the Ghost thought as he pulled out of the display case. 'This is going to be harder than it looks. I'm going to have to give it a try anyway. Might as well get on with it.' Ghost looke about the display area for a moment wondering how to best deal with the problem. The case had a number of electronic boards that he could interface but how to get to them. Most likely, he could easily pass through the casing, but that didn't sound right. The typical workers had to be able to open up the case somehow to make changes to the system so an access panel had to be located somewhere. The Ghost placed his gloved hand against the case and began slowly passing his hand around the base. A hidden catch or some such had to be there to reveal the circuitry beneath. Once he found the catch, he'll worry about opening it later.
  15. She ius in the air at I9. She's near the rafters so about 15ft up in the air I uploaded a new map with the key at the top. Each square is 5ft. The green things are the robots.
  16. Sammy smiles again to show that her remark did not bother him at all. "At the Calf? No one. I stay away from that guady little place. Too much gold for my taste. I've tried to keep a low profile for the most part as things can quickly get out of hand in a city like Freedom. So many super heroes that an honest theif can barely keep his head afloat." Again Sammy takes a drink before lowering the water bottle. "And its Lady Fortune herself that helps me make my choices. As long as she's in my corner, I can't lose." The knock at the door catches his attention and Sammy looks at the door. "Sounds like our girl is here. Wonder what she's like." Sammy remains seated but keeps a smile upon his face as he waits to see who Lenny had sent.
  17. Shui's blast of water again takes out another thug from the fight, giving the police officer some relief.
  18. Void blasts teh door open and three robots step out firing into the room. Both Badb and Ironhide are hit. Badb needs to make a DC 25 toughness save. Ironhide can ignore the damage due to his imprevious. Right now the damage is simple bullets. Changing the initiative order slightly. From now own, the NPCS will react at the top of the round and the group will react after that. So everyone can post from this point on. First person posts, the first person reacts. This should help speed up play fairly quickly. I will update the map and follow with the badguys actions after it. These are not minions so I'll be make rolls. There is no taking ten on attacks against them. ROUND THREE The robots are in view. The back way is open.

    The Yamaguchi Job

    The door blows open to reveal crates upon crates that form some kind of maze. As the dust settles, the sound of gears moving fromsomething in the back draws your attention. It doesn't take long to see the source of the commotion as four large robots come into view. As soon as they step out of the back room, they form a wall before the destroyed doors and begin firing into the warehouse. Bullets fly about hitting both Badb and Ironhide. The bullets rip into the boat that Void is standing on but fails to hit the girl.
  20. Sammy is taken byu surprise when Letta caused the bottle to become cold. His eyebrow arched and he looked directly at the woman. "Should have figured you'd be a super. Nice trick with the cold." He takes a sip of the chilled water listening to Letta's plans. A frwon appears on his face when she comes to the end. "True. The place does lack anything worth being called security, but do you really want to make your name knocking of a casino on the Boardwalk?" Sammy put the bottle down and put his hands before him. "The mob does has their feelers in the network of almost all the casinos at some level even if you don't see it. If money's all you want, why not hit a bank or a high wig social party? You'll make about as much money hitting the Golden Calf. Hitting a casino is just going to arrouse the attention of the major families that their interests are vulnerable. Not a sight I really want to see, myself. I'd rather let sleeping dragons keep on dreaming." Sammy smiles again and leans back in his chair. "Besides, I live in the area. My momma told me never to shop in your own neighborhood. That's how you get caught."
  21. Sammy smiles and moves over to pick up a bottle of water. "Well, that would depend on what you have planned. You just mentioned money and needing hands but exactly what are you planning?" Sammy takes his seat and opens the bottle of water. He takes a drink fromt he bottle and smiles at Letta. "I'm hear simply because I heard that someone was thinking of doing some work in my homeground. If your idea sounds appealing, I would be more than willing to lend a hand."
  22. Sammy knocked at the door and waited for it to be opened. When Letta opened the door, he smiled at her very blue outfit. "Nice threads," he said as he moved into the room. Sammy still wore the same black tee shirt and jeans that he had on earlier at the casino. His bag was over his shoulder again. "Not a bad little place you have here. Too bad it's a throw away." Sammy moved to the window and glanced outside, just getting a feel of the area. Satisfied with what he saw, he sat down in a nearby chair and placed his bad at his feet. "So when does Lenny's girl show up? Think she's going to be worth your time?"
  23. Icarus' blow is just as solid and is able to rock the red skinned thug. The man shakes his head, in an attempt to settle down his suddenly rotating vision. OOC: Stunned and bruised.
  24. The door is brusied. Toughness +10 A few more hits should take it out.

    The Yamaguchi Job

    Badb's blast strikes the door near one of the joints. The blast is well placed but when the heat vapors clear, the door remains in place. It does seem damaged but far from destroyed.
