Normally, with an intiative as low as that, I would recall your action against the guard as he would be inside before you could react. However, it was such a great post, I'm going to let it stand. Wonderful post! I enjoyed it. Now, if I don't hear from Ironhide by tomorrow which door he wants to pound in, I'll assume it is the nearest door to him, which will be the large double doors.
-
Depends on which on you're trying ot break down. There is the man sized door to the left and the large double doors to the right. The double doors look to be of strong material than the man sized door.

Okay. What about ammunition? What kind of bullets does he have on him now? I saw on your sheet that you have a variety of different types of bullets and just want to know what's on hand. The amount I'm not going to really worry about though you'll have the problem of reloading..... Here's the information from your character sheet as you stated in your last post. Let me know if I forgot anything.

The Ghost smiled and rubbed his hands together in delight. 'Ah, pressure plate and something a little more challenging I would guess. Now, how to proceed?' Ghost opened his backpakc more and looked inside at the tools that were carefully strapped inside to keep them from making too much noise while moving. Pressure plates were nothing new to the thief. He had just the tools for the job. What was going to cause him problems was figuring out the force field. If it was anything like the one surrounding the building, Ghost knew he could easily move his hand through it, but he wouldn't be in a position to negate the pressure plate. 'Besides, it wouldn't be good professional manner to not do things the old fashion way. Lady Fortune might just turn her back on me.' Ghost thought about the latest technology that might be powering the force field and the best way to disarm it before going for the pressure plate. 'Got to deal with the field first. Then it shoudl be clear sailing for the plate and the diamonds!'

You're still welcome. Post your combat info here as well as your initiative roll. On your initiative you can arrive on scene.

Okay, Badb has started combat inside, exposing herself. For those outside of the building you need to make a DC 10 check to hear the commotion. Regardless if you do or not, Please roll initiative here. That way, it will save us time. If you hear the commtion, you can act on your initiative as normal. Badb, I need to know how high up you're flying. You have about 20ft from ground to Ceiling. Ther are rafters and beams there as well about five feet from the ceiling. So clear space is up to 15ft. The rafters would be hindered movement for fliers [Moderate obstruction x3/4]. Walking on the rafters and beams is possible, but will need a DC 10 acrobatics check which is trianed. Badb's blast catches the guard by surprise and sending him to the ground. Unfortunately, it also draws the attention of everyone else in the building. They all look up and see Badb floating in the air. The carpenters all drop their tools and begin scrabbling off of the various projects. The guards begin to raise weapons, training on the flying villain. The noise of her blast catches the attention of the guard on teh roof as well as those behind the wall. Both begin preparations.

The Ghost moved quickly to the display case holding the priceless collection of diamonds. He stood for a moment simply marvelling at the variety of the stones. He had never really seen many diamonds, perfering to deal with art pieces more than stones, but this still took his breath away. The diamonds were stored in three different cases. Each case held a third of the stones, arranged in a pattern to show off the variety in colors. Each case had a mixture of the larger stones as well as the smaller ones. From the research he had done on the internet before coming here, The Ghost knew that not all of the diamonds had a high value. In fact, most of the diamonds were fairly of medicore value. The true value of the diamonds came from having the complete spectrum of colors that they gave off. Selling the stones would hardly make him a profit as Ghost knew that he would have to split up the collection to avoid alerting the police. 'Let's see. Red Queen split on me, Imposter is doing who knows what downstairs, and outside Collateral and Dyrad are doing who knows what. There's nothing stopping me from taking the complete collection for myself!' Ghost walked around the three cases checking for the security device protecting the diamonds. 'Now, what would they have on hand to keep little old me from getting my precious treats? Pressure plate? Naw, that would be too feeble for a collection like this. Laser beam alarm? Could be. Better blow some dust around to make sure.' The Ghost lowered his backpack and took out his duster. The pack held his 'working tools' and this is just the type of voice he was made for!

Sammy's eyes go wide and his smile widens. He pulls the chair closer to the couple and leans in closely. "So, you're connected. Perhaps you're the person that Lenny was telling me about." Sammy looks around slightly to make sure that no one else was listening in on the conversation. "I've been looking for a way to get 'introduced' to some of the more prominent familes here in town. As always, Lady Fortune has decided to shine on me! She's brought me here to meet you, Violetta. I may be a very helpful person to know."
-
I love the list. YOu hit Ghost right on the money. Now, link the name to the character sheets and we have a great directory that all GMs and players can use quickly to view characters.
-
Actually, I could change that, but it would be too much work for me. Thanks. I try. Well I haven'T seen anyone posting that they were trying to open the doors, so......

Police stream by heading to their cars in riot gear. As they moved passed, the trio catch snatches of their conversations. "....Damn Skinheads again!" "They've hit a Cesium shippment! Be careful where you shoot." "I haven't heard of so many out in such a force! What's going on?" "Hope you paid your life insurance Jack! Your wife might be cashing in!" "Head down to Moore and California! And get the civilians out of there!" It isn't long until the police have piled in their cars and headed out to the scene. A quick look at the street sign shows that the location isn't that far away, only about ten minutes by car. Of course, by some other means, it might be much faster.

Again, sorry for the delay. I'm ready to move on now. Okay quick point. Norseman, and everyone for that matter, you start the game with your powers set on the first setting. If you want to switch them to an AP setting, you'll have to let me know in the thread. Colton, can you post a list of what he has with him now? Letting him have everything with him, sounds kind of crazy at the moment. In the future, you might want to use your PPs to add a dimensional pocket to carry everything. That way you'll always have everything with you. I'll trust your judgement for the most part, but that list will be needed before combat starts. There will be minions there. A ton of them. I will give you the Tough, Def, saves for them so you can roll the results and write it up in your post. Remember, if they fail any save or Toughness, they are out of the fight. Should help things move quickly. There will also be tougher opponents. Those, I will roll toughness and saves for so if you are dealing with one of them, keep your post open ended. If you're in doubt as to my style of running things, take a look at this thread.

Babd moves quickly towards the door but realizes that it isn't her best effort as the Guard seems to begin to turn back her way. seeing the movement, Badb picked up her speed and manages to slip through the door right and close it just as the guard turns to face the door. For the moment, she has gone unnoticed. Badb finds herself at the top of stairs that lead down into a large work area. Five ships are in various stages of construction or repair. She easily counts five carpenters working on the various ships while two guards walk around the building. Two more stationary guards are clearly seen over by the door with the electronic lock. A set of double doors are between them. The noise in the workhouse seems to have hidden Badb's entry and will help in moving around quietly. At the moment there is no sign of the three trucks that went in earlier, though the double doors are large enough to allow them through. OOC: See map in OOC for details.

Sorry about that. Missed that you had posted to the thread your arrive. As for the rolls, Notice for long distances, Search for up close checks. So in this case, to get an idea of the layout, Notice. -------------------------------- Here's what Exile notices. Map is included. There are five boats in various stages of repair. Three small boats and two large yachts. Two cranes are in the building moving things about and five carpenters are workingo n the various ships. She notes inside four guards; two are roving around together while two stand by a pair of double doors that sit in a wall that cuts off a third of the building. His spatial imagine can't get through that wall, but he does note the locking device next to the door. There is no sign of the three trucks that had entered earlier though the double doors are large enough to let them in. He also notes Badb entering from the roof area. Scale is 5ft per square. Badb is on the stairs leading down. The stairs are about 20twenty feet in length. Void, Exile and Ironhide are all outside the building.
-
Yes please. Also, where are you when you try this? So far, Badb is on the building. Ironhide and Void are just outside the main doors. You can be at any distance from the building but distance will affect how much you learn.

Yeah, I wanted it on Invisible castle, but I see that all three of you are members of the site and have it in its own campaign. That is fine. Most people I know simply use the dice without joining the site so they can't put the rolls in indiviual campaigns. If all three of you make your rolls the way you did earlier that will be fine. Just PMed Heridefel and will be waiting to see how he feels about what I have planned before responding. Sorry for the delay.

Ghost watched as Red Queen disappeared. His mouth dropped open in surprise but after a moment, he shook it and turned his attention back to the job. 'Figures it would be a bad thing to do a job with other super powered people. Keep it simple and things should go smoothly!' Ghost looked at the camera and smiled. 'At least now, I don't have to wait around for cameras to clear by. I can move normally.' With that thought, Ghost moved boadly towards the stairs that led to the second floor and his goal.

Great! That helps a lot. You might want to see about getting that added to your sheet to help save you time when dealing with Refs. DC 15 notice check to pick up on the conversation of the police moving by. Please use the following tag when you make your rolls, [VUA], it will keep the rolls together for easy check up. When combat starts, you can do Toughness rolls for the minions right away. If they fail the save, they are out so you can put in the results in your post as well. Non minions, I will make the toughness rolls, though I will list their Def so you will know if you hit or not.

The distant cab finally notes Colton's presence and begins moving to pick him up. As the cab stops, the doors of Police building bursts open and police men begin running towards the parking lot. A few of the men are carry what seems to be riot gear, helemts and large shields. A few large caliber rifles are also seen as the men rush pass the small group. The cabbie looks out of the passenger window, wondering what had caused all the ruckus. A few of the officers speak to each other as they pass by the trio. None of the officers seem to even notice the strangeness of Ullgir as they rush to their cars.

Quick question. Does Aaron need water present for his water control to work or does he produce his own? I jusr looked over all the characters and this is truely an unlikely assembly! Colton usually sticks with guns, right? Would he use an energy weapon if it was available? I've got an idea what to throw at you, but I want to make sure I've got those points figured out so I can place you.
-
Actually saw where you were in the thread. Looks like the cab will be around soon, so I'll introduce a quick post right now. Should get you guys moving in the right direction. :)

Sammy lifts an eyebrow at her statement. He looked over at Lenny again before turning to take Letta's hand. The sudden change from security to the mob catches his attention right away. For the first time, he pulls out the chiar next to Lenny and sits down. Sammy smiles braodly and places his drink on the counter top. "No, I've only been here a few months now. True. The mob haven't had a big hand here at the calf, but it looks like they might be starting to get interested." Sammy tilts his head over to a large bulidboard that hangs before teh entrance to the stage area. The buildboard lists tonights entertainers, Bernie Mac -- the comedian, and Carrie Underwood -- the singer. "If the Calf keeps bringing in big named stars like those, the mob are going to get really interested again. Actually, I wonder how they are pulling in those stars. Not even the Southside Palace is pulling in acts like this and everyone knows the Driogano Family owns that place." Sammay shakes his head and looks at Letta. "But it seems you're more than a pretty face. It's not like many people that come to this part of town know about the mob workings, so what's your angle?"
-
Okay. It will be short term, but should be fine for your purposes. I'll let you talk to each other for a little bit longer. Just don'T leave the front of the police building. 8-)

Hello all. I saw your thread and was wondering what you had planned. Do you need a Ref to set something up for you or are you okay? Let me know if you need or want something for your guys to do. I may just have time to throw somethign your way.
