Ironhide, there are no men in armor present. They all went inside of the building. You are fighting minions right now. The powered armor men are not minions. With Void's attack, she drops the other guard before he can do anything. So you can rewrite your post to take in those points.

The guards are minions so I'm not going to worry too much about it right now. We'll assume that the toughness drops by one every 2nd successful hit.

Samay looks at the offered hand for a moment before smiling broadly and taking it. "Something like that. Name's Sammy. Sammy Cosentino. I like to keep up on the latest security measures. You never know when it might come in handy." "So, you're named Lenny. Seems the Boardwalk has quite a few Lennys around. I might get you all mixed up if I'm not careful!" Sammay barks a laugh at the minor joke before taking a drink. "Talent coordinator, huh? Not much talent out here in the Boardwalk. Unless this fine little lady is your latest discovery, that is." Sammy arches an eyebrow at the young woman, wondering now why she was with Lenny.

Heliopolis Heights (created by Shadowboxer) The Heliopolis Heights is a gorgeous apartment building standing right on O'Donnell and Michigan. Constructed in 1929, the apartments are a towering splendour built in a modernized Georgian style that stands out from the neighbouring tenement buildings lining the street. For years, tourists and architecture students have visited the Heights to catch a glimpse of the unique building. Artists set up easels across the street to paint its portrait, and photographers snap its picture when the sunlight hits it just right.

Sammy looked down at the backpack when she points it out. He shrugs his shoulders and returns her smile. "You'd be right if they were lax in their security measures, but they are quite proficent here. Ever since the Lucky Seven Casino was hit earlier this year, they've done wonders on improving the security at all the casinos of the boardwalk."* Sammy takes a sip of his drink. As he lowers it, he points to the main entrance. "They've got scanners in the doorway that would pick up on most weapons or electronic devices. If you tried to walk in here with a gun, you'd be marked as a possible trouble maker and have their in house security force shadowing you everywhere. They've got cameras hidden all over the place as well." Sammy turns slightly pointing out the obvious cameras in sight. "Those are just the basic cameras to keep the tourists in line. The real security cameras they use to keep watch over the indiviual tables and the money cage of course." *See Forget the Cards, I win for more details.

Yes. Actions in order of the list of initiative. I'll try to keep things moving quickly so the sooner someone posts the sooner I'll advance. Don'T forget to roll the Toughness save of the guard if you hit their defense. It will cut down on wait time. :)

Ironhide roars into position and taps the guard just hit by Void. The blow is more than enough to knock him out.

Void's sudden appearance takes the guards by surprise. Beither expected to see some kind of super powered being appear before them. Their training however takes over quickly as the man in the small booth begins reaching for a telephone while the man outside begins to raise his weapon. Void knows she only has a few moments to take advantage of their hesitation.

It didn't look like it. It seems they leave teh door unlocked so that the guard can easily head down in case of an emergency.

Sammy put the remote control on the table and got up. He walked over to the strange box and lifted it up. It wasn't much to look at but someone had wanted it bad enough to send him to get it. Now, whomever that was had failed to contact him. 'Wonder what's inside. Maybe some kind of massive device of some kind or something more stuble? Maybe I should simply bust it open and take a look inside. Yeah, that's all I need. Break the box open and have the person who wants it come a calling my way.' Sammy put the box down and moved to the bed room. 'I need to get out of her for a while or I'll go crazy! Might as well take a walk along the boardwalk and see what's out there. Might even find something worthwhile to keep me busy.' Sammy picked up his back and walked out of the room, not noticing that the strange box was slightly ajar.....

May 2008 Sammy gets word that there's a new player in Boardwalk. Not liking having competition in his part of the city, Sammy takes time to enter the Golden Calf, the one casino he dislikes most. The meeting turns out to be with Chill and Whisper who decide to rob the Golden Calf. Sammy gets excited to bring the guady casino down a peg and the group quickly makes plans to hit the Casino. With a little luck, things should work out smoothly.

The guards that patrol the building are minions. You can roll out attacks and toughness for all of them. Just list their rolls in your post. Guards Tough +5, Def +5, For +4, Reflex +1, Will +1 Damage +5 (rifle) Skills: Notice +4, Stealth +3

Badb times her movement right when the guard on teh roof heads inside. From watching previously, she knows that she has only a few seconds before a replacement guard comes into view. Her previous flybys had given her a fairly good location to hide. She easily reaches the location just as the door opens showing the new guard arriving on scene. He looks around but fails to find Badb. He moves over to the edge and begins his patrol around the roof.

ARRIVAL The group had taken up positions around the warehouse, waiting for the merchandise to arrive. Finally that day came. Three small trucks arrived and stopped at the main doors. The guard outside got up to check on the vehicles' paperwork, talking to the driver of the first vehicle. As the three vehicles waited to enter, from the last truck, five very large figures stepped out. All five men wore heavy armor, most likely powered armor. Their presence stood out from the usual crowd of people that normally frequented North Bay. The five men carried large weapons that resembled something from the movie Aliens. They spread out in a fan, covering the vehicles while watching the area outside of the building. The group is able to avoid detection but you're sure that it is was only maraginally. Soon the discussion is complete and the doors are opened to allow the trucks inside of the warehouse. The five men follow the trucks inside, still keeping their eyes open for any trouble. The doors close as soon as the last man enters. The guard returns to his booth, a stack of papers in his hands.

Though the floor was full of ringing slot machines calling for the tourists to spend their money on a hopeless gamble, Sammy was still able to pick up on the end bit of Lenny's words. He frowned and turned to look directly at Lenny before bending over and lifting his pack. Sammy slowly placed the pack on his left shoulder and picked up his drink in his left hand. He walked directly over to the couple, his frown still on his face. "You got a problem with the way I dress?" Sammy said looking Lenny up and down. He smiled and placed his pack on the floor at his feet. "Cause if you are, you might want to go and buy yourself a copy of GQ and rethink your own choice of clothes."

Just thought I'd post something for Ghost on the inside until you can get around to us. A little RPing with Red Queen might get some information to Ghost that I want him to start working on. Minor stuff like avoiding cameras and guards running about would be the plan depending on what RQ has in mind. I just don'T want to have Ghost totally missing action.

MEANWHILE BACK INSIDE.... The Ghoststopped next to the eskimo display, holding up his hand to stop Red Queen from proceeding. "Hang on a second, RQ. There's a camera just over there. It'll take a few seconds before we get a clear shot to proceed. Normally, I'd just walk by the stupid thing, but," Ghost stopped and looked Red Queen up and down before smiling, "you don't have my luck." Ghost turned back to watch the camera. It had been a long time since he had to actually watch the movements of a camera to avoid detection that he almost walked right passed this one. If it hadn't been for the soft sound of Red Quessn's breath behind him, he would never have had remembered she was there. 'She's actually pretty good. Though I've got my doubts about that black space of hers. Gave me the creeps.' Just thinking of the strange space that RQ had but him in caused a shiver through his body. He knew little about magic but knew it was one of the reasons why his luck had changed so much. Whatever that mage did to him had changed his life in ways Ghost couldn't imagine. Still waiting for the camera to cycle by, Ghost again turned to Red Queen. "So," he began in a soft voice, "what was that black space you had us in earlier? I've got to say it gave me the creeps. Don't let the kid know that though. Got to protect my image."

I would never kill a character on this site without the players approval. NPCs are another matter though.

I was hoping for about two months. Things are ready to begin once I hear everyone is ready to advance. I wanted to give you time to prepare for anything if needed before advancing to the arrival day. I'll start that in two days regardless.
