Ghost is trying to Permeate through the wall.

Miss chance(11 hits);Attack on Grim DC14;Grim Tough DC 23 (1d20=20, 1d20+8=20, 1d20+5=7) Ouch! That really hurts. Looks like Nightrival is still fairly lucky. Attack DC23; Toughness DC 23 (1d20+10=22, 1d20+6=22) Even if it had hit, it would have done very little damage. ROUND SEVEN

Grim's attempt to trip the thug before her turns out to be very unlucky for the hero as her opponet swings widly. Her awkward position placed her directly in the path of his fist which connects soildly against her temple. The rush of power through the blow knocks the hero senseless. The other Thug, able to react, charges over to Nightrival. He swings but his fist comes within inches of Nightrival's face. Nightrival sees Grim take the hit.

Ghost steps out of the blackness and shivers. "It's a terribly interesting palce you got in there, Queen. You might want to put some chairs and some refreshments inside if you plan on moving people around like that again," he says with a smile. Ghost listens to Collateral's message and turns to Imposter. "Tell him to hang a second. There may be a way inside the old fashion way." Ghost moves up to teh wall of the building, looking it over carefully. He places his hand against the wall and slowly attempts to pass through.....

Duncan nods his head. "I can understand that. Sometimes I wish I could get my dad off my back from time to time." Duncan looked around at the dance floor. So many people dancing and enjoying themselves, but the club wasn'T really a good place to talk. The music made hearing a conversation fairly difficult. Duncan smiled at Megan before pointing towards a door marked VIP. "Say, it's pretty noisy out here and I'd like to talk to you a little more without screaming. Waht do you say we head to the VIP rooms? We can still hear the music but it would be much easier to talk. We can always come back out if you want to dance again."

Heritage, for this thread at least, I'm going to stay constistant about the Blending. Unless you drop it, he'll have the miss chance to hitting you. Afterwards, I'll ask around about it to see what happens when you do fight. Perhaps it will end up being a slight bonus on the miss chance. So he still doesn'T know exactly where she is. If either of you know for sure the ruling on the blending and attacking sitaution, please chime in. I won'T change anything this thread, but in the future, I want to be able to use the correct ruling. :)

Ghost frowned at Imposter's sudden outburst. "There's no need to yell, Imposter. I doubt she can hear you from in here anyway. Try to relax. It hasn't been that long since we've been in here."
-
Ghost looked at the youngster and smiled. "Relax, Imposter. We don't know what is going on out there. When Red Queen is ready, she'll let us out. I doubt things are a sbad as you may think. Remember, Lady Fortune smiles on us." Ghost says in a very cheerful voice. 'Got to calm the kid down before he does something silly. Get him thinking about other things than being stuck in here.' The Ghost snapped his fingers and was surprised slightly that the sound was slightly off from the action. "Hey, kid, you said you dropped out of school. Where were you going?"
-
I saw that. I knew you woul dhave problems but I've been busy with work as well, so you haven'T missed anything really. And he is staggered and stunned. :)
-
Congrats! I hope everything goes smoothly for you. Don'T stay away too long!
-
The ghost notes teh dimming light and the sudden change of motion with the other items in the area. "It seems, Imposter, that we are on our way." He quietly waits for Red Queen to reopen the area and free them. Thoughts of how he's going to spend his share of the loot float in his head. 'A new set of tools would be nice. High end materials of course. Maybe send a little to the police charity to make them feel good as well. They should get a kick out of that!'
-
Ghost smiles as Imposter joins him in the void. "Welcome. It's a little strange in here but not that uncomfortable. Though I would not like to travel this way much. How did it go out there?"

linking rolls is fairly easy with the Castle. They have a link for forums that you simply click and then "paste" into the post. So click the BBCode link which copies it to your clipboard. Then in your post, copy your clipboard to the post. It would look like this below. (I removed the first bracket so that you can see the coding.) url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1535772/]1d20+12=17 Then you simply need to change the information between the two different brackets with your flavor text. url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1535772/]Initiative The final product, when you hit preview should show only the flavor text. Initiative Hope that helps you out.

If you're interested and after you guys are finished with your sparring, I may have a small game for you to play in. Kind of the new status and all. Right now, work's got me fairly busy and I've slowed down a lot but hopefully, In April, things should be getting back to normal. Let me know if you're interested.

A slight shifting in illumination draws Ghost's attention upwards - or was it dowards? He had gotten quite confused with orientation - and sees another bolt of blue lightning pass by. "What is taking so long?" he says aloud just to hear his voice in the dark expanse. "We should be inside by now."
-
Again, it's your thread. I've been fairly busy myself so the slow down has been fairly useful for me.
-
With the hero out, I'm going to be trying to finish this up fairly quickly in teh next few weeks. I'll get back to finding out what he sees later today. Ran out of time. :)

Sammy makes it to teh stairs and finds that luck is truly on his side as the stairs leads directly to the fifth floor. 'Wow, now that is going to make this all the much better!' He pauses at the door and listens for any noise beyond the door. Failing to notice anything, he carefully opens the door a crack.
-
With both heroes attacking quickly they are able to damage their opponents. One of the thugs shakes his head, trying to clear it from the blow Nightrival just gave him. The other, near Nightrival swings a haymaker that connects easily. Nightrival feels the blow but manages to roll with the blow to avoid any damage. Over by Grim, the thug, having felt the pain, tries to strike out at the still hidden strikes out blindly. Luck seems to be on his side as he manages to connect with the blow. The blow glances off of her shoulder, causing a slight bruise.
-
Looks like the waiting worked for me. The thugs both got massive hits on the heroes, but were unable to wound you. As far as movement, no one moved, no new map. Also, Thug 2 is who is stunned by Nightrival, he is still under that condition by Nightrival's actions. After that, however, he is free to react. ROUND SIX

RL. I'll be putting up a post right about now. Sorry about the delay.

Thanks a lot! I look forward to throwing together a few small adventures soon. Still getting some RL issuses under control, which explains my slow down recently. But that all changes in April as things settle down. Here's to having a few good games!
