  1. Just letting you know that I found the list. You might want to put a link in the Arena thread OOC for the others to find it.

  3. Yes, carrying Grim would put you into the medium load area. if you're going to do planning, please do it in IC so that your planning takes time. It makes more sense that way then to have you guys plan your strategy now that you're on scene. Also, keep in mind that your swing line needs a higher point for you to use it effectively. You're on a 2 story building which is 20ft up. The closest location to attach your line is Monty's roof (the red section) which stands ten feet above you.

  5. With the ease of movement in MM2e, I don'T think it matters much. So let's simply go with the DnD style where every other square diagonally will count as two. So the first square would be 5ft, the second would be 10ft [total 15ft], the third would be 5ft [total 20ft], and so on.

  7. It wasn't long before the two heroes, using the rooftops to travel reached Pennslyvania and Lincoln. Before them, was Monty's Garage, a mid-sized garaged owned by Monty Jacobs. It wasn't unsual for Minty to keep late hours, but the scene before the pair was far from usual. Two cars sat outside of the garage as well as a large van. Five skinheads stood around one black man that Nightrival knew to be Monty, the owner of the garage. Each of the skinheads held some kind of makeshift weapon in their hands. The men shifted their weapons from hand to hand while laughing and moving closer to Monty. Monty held his hands up in a defensive manner, while backing up towards the nearby car. A sixth skinhead stood near the van watching the group around Monty. This man seemed to be paying more attention to the surrounding area.

  9. The Ghost orders another beer and waits until it comes begore beginning to explain his idea. He tells of how he saw the news report that the Aroura Diamond collection that was coming to the Natural history museum. He quickly explains how the others have agreed to help him accquire the 296 diamonds and that each person was considered an equal in the job. The group was moving to Collateral's base to discuss things further. "And if you agreed to help out on this job, I've put forth another useful idea that we help spring each other if we are ever caught by the spandex creeps in the city. That enough to whet your appettite?" Ghost finishes as he lifts his glass to his mouth for another drink.

  11. Well I really hate doing that. It doesn't take much to write a quick summary to keep it clear what people know and don't know. I'll put up a summary for it now so that there is no misunderstandings. :)

  13. That's too bad. I was looking forward to having a mole in the group. It would have been fairly interesting to have heroes pop up to the jobs because Imposter had dropped hints and clues to them. Oh well, even as avillian it should be fun. Thanks Heridfel! Do you want to make a floor plan for the musuem or use the basic one I got off the web?

  15. I'm looking for a ref to handle the npcs of the musuem for the Syndicate's first job together. Also, any heroes interested in stopping a robbery attempt should get involved. Ince we have a ref with some time, we can work out what is needed and make a thread for it.

  17. The Ghost watched the others leave before turning his gaze upon Queen. "Seems you got here a little late, but not to worry. There's more for you to do. You heard where Collateral's base is, right? If you join us, you can take part in the job. A little shopping spree that I had in mind. If you're really bored, why don't you join us." He smiles at Red Queen before finishing off his beer.

  19. Ghost looks at the two and nods his head. "I'm afraid I'm with the big guy on this one. My word is given and there is no need for such a display. Besides," Ghost smiles, "I'm afraid that I will get too used to the gesture and unable to concentrate on the job. It's not a common occurance to have a woman as alluring as yourself, offering herself to be kissed." The Ghost stands. "Here, as Collateral has pointed out, we are equals. We won't deem ourselves with needless shows of trust. No hand shakes, no kisses, no bowing. Simply our word which is easier to deal with. As long as we're fair with each other and keep our agreements, I see no problems in trusting your word. Just don't cross me, and I won't cross you."

  21. I agree completely. What I envision is this. 1) First find a ref to run the job. [i downloaded a museum floorplan that we could use for the location or ask a ref to make something up.] 2)Set up a thread of us checking out the museum. 3) Set up a thread at Collateral's Base making our plan on the information we gathered. 4) Return to the museum thread and doing the deed. Question is, do we want to invite heroes to the thread? Are we going to have the thread succeed regardless of dice roll? I'm of a mind to have this capper succeed without too much problems to let our partnership grow. Having a group of PC heroes would be interesting, but not needed. NPC heroes or simply museum security should be more than enough.

  23. Ghost nods his head in agreement. "That should be fine. There is one last point that I'd like to put out for us. An.....agreement of sorts. Each of us have our own agenda, but in our line of business, it pays to have soemone you can count on to get you out of a jam. I say we agree, from this time on that if any one of us is pinched by these spandex wearing bums, that we agree to try to break each other out of prison. So, if any job goes south on us, the main objective is to get free quickly. Whoever escapes can get the caught person out later." The Ghost looks at the three other to see if they were willing to agree.

  25. I'm still using the IC thread for most things and don'T really expect to need an OOC at the moment. You could leave it here though so that I can use this thread for rolls that I'll use through out the city instead of making up small threads everywhere. :)
