I'm still using the IC thread for most things and don'T really expect to need an OOC at the moment. You could leave it here though so that I can use this thread for rolls that I'll use through out the city instead of making up small threads everywhere. :)

Sammy folded up the map and packed it away. The time he spent hiding had given him just the rest he needed to get his wits back, but he remained bruised. 'Well, can't have everything. Still need to be quick about this little job. They know I'm here and it ruins my reputation if I can't get a simple job done.' Sammy slowly moved out from under the table and looked at the door. 'Best not to use the doors for the time being. The direct route to the stairs makes more sense.' He moved slowly and began moving through the walls in search of the stairs out.

Ghost shrugs his shoulders. "Never said I was looking for underlings. But what is this bank you talk about? Did you mean the museum? You turn it into anything you like once we have the diamonds in hand. Anyone that helps gets a share of the loot to do with as they wish. 296 diamonds split any way, still amounts to a lot of money."

Ghost smiles at Dyrad. "Well call it 'this for that.' I've never been big into revenge so I tend to refrain from getting mixed up with it. Start down that road and all you get is someone seeking revenge against you. But if you help me, I'll help you." The Ghost nodded at Imposter's enthusiasm but turned his gaze upon Collateral. "You're right. I most likely could pull the job off myself though I'd have to be even more careful than usual. Lady Fortune may watch out for me, but she doesn't protect fools and I am certainly no fool. With all of the costumed tights in this town, there's bound to be someone in the nearby area that could easily mess up my plans. If I had help," Ghost smiles widely, "I'll not only come away with a large increase of cash, but I would have established my presence here in the city and that is the true reason why I want to do this." Ghost gesture at the few patrons in the bar. "Everyone here wants attention to some degree or another. Why else try throwing a school bus off of a bridge in the middle of the day, eh? I want everyone in Freedom to know that The Ghost is the best inside man in the city. Call it professional pride." Ghost picked up his glass and drank agaiin before speakign again. "I'll most likely try for it with or without your help. Like I said, the collection is coming in a few weeks which would give me plenty of time to plan out the job. Case the museum, find out what kind of security they were playing on using and such. Having some muscle around for when the tights are bound to appear, is simply an added bonus."

The two heroes take teo the rooftops, moving silently through the night. A chill wind comes off of the bay, moving along with the heroes. Luckily, their movement through the night keeps them warm enough to ignore the chilling wind. Their travel bring them to the western edge of Nightrival's usual patrol route without encountering any signs of the Brotherhood. The two stop to rest slightly and the sound of a nearby gun shot catches their atttention. The sound seems to be coming from further west, just outside of Nightrival's usual patrol route.

The Ghost smiled at the interest the others showed. He sat back for a moment before moving in closer to the table and lowering his voice. Teh effect forced the others to lean in as well as if he was about reveal some great mystery. "Well, the other day, I was watching the news. Actually, that's how I first saw you, Collateral. Anyway, what caught my eye was the new exhibit coming to the Hunter Museum of Natural History in a few weeks. It seems Freedom will have for a short time, the Aurora Diamond collection. That's a collection of 296 diamonds, people. Two hundred and ninety-six diamonds. Just think what kind of money that would bring on the blackmarket!" The Ghost pulls back, his smile still upon his face and waits to see any reactions.

The Ghost frowns slightly at Dryad's choice of words for a toast, but raises his own glass and drinks deep. He slowly places the glass down and wipes his mouth before speaking. "Actually, I was wondering, if any of you would be interesting in helping me pull a job." Ghost looks from face to face trying to read their reaction to his words. "Are you interested?"

The Bartender loks at Dryad and nods his head. "Madam, we can easily supply you with whatever substances you may require. Legend has ensured that all that come to the Arena may find their basic desires fullfilled. Is there any particular vintage of rain water that you wish to have?" As Imposter makes his choice, the bartender nods his head in understanding. "Right, one draft beer. Would you like that in a bottle or a glass, sir?"

Ghost shrugs his shoulders. "I don't see why not. The guy who watches over things, Legend, seems to be on the up and up. I mean, why poision the people that might be the only patrons you ever get. Besides, if I understand things correctly, this place is Neutral territory. A place for people of our profession to let our hair down without need for watching over our shoulders." Ghost looks at the other two as well to see their reaction to Collateral's question. The Ghost's face takes on a very dark look as he places both hands upon the table. "Kid, I'd advise you not to take on my appearance again. I take pride in my work and having someone impersonate me can hurt my business. So, if you wouldn't mind, please, don't take my appearance again."

I PMed Warmonger, the guy who was getting the whole deal started up and haven't heard from him yet. If he doesn'T show up soon, I'll introduce someone to start us off. At least it will lead into a thread that I'm trying to get started in April or so.

The Ghost sighs at the woman's reaction. "I didnot order you a drink. The bartender is right here. Tell him whether you want a drink or not. Who knows they may even have rain water stashed somewhere in back. There is no need to get your thorns all tied up." Ghost smiles but leans back in his chair. "And I'm no botanist, Dryad. Seeing as I've just met you, I don't know your life story other than what you've just told us. I was raised never to drink alone and considering we are in a bar, it seemed fitting to have drinks brought for everyone. The choice is still yours to make." Ghost watches Dyrad carefully, wary of the abilities she had so graciously revealed so far.

The Brotherhood (as found in the Freedom City source book; Open usage) The Brotherhood is a white-supremacist skinhead gang in Southside. Made up of the disaffected and angry white minority here, the group places blame for the world's ils at the feet of "mongrel races," i.e. any non-whites. They affect Nazi-style emblems and commit acts of violence and vandalism against those they perceive as their enemies. They survive on food or money gained by petty crime and drug dealing. The Brotherhood has some ties with other Aryan or skinhead gangs elsewhere in the country and world. The Freedom gang is particularly dangerous because of their association with the super-criminal White Knight.
