If you want me to do the Brotherhood tie in, this is as good a time as any to do the ground work. If you think your plate is full with the DejaVu thread, it can wait. I'm simply looking for a place to set some ground work for a bigger story arc that I want to throw out there. Since you two are active in the area, then it makes things easier. It's not major and can wait for a date when people have more free time as well. Your call really.

With the arena thread up and running, it would make a good place for villians to interact. Jump in any time if you are a villian and looking to get your feet wet.

Well put up the thread. Could one of the refs put the map and information about the Arena in the Locations thread I put up? It would make things look better and make it easier to learn about the area. Oh, I also made an NPC to keep watch of the place. I didn't give a lot of information about him, since I wanted him to be the refs and higher a character they can use at will to keep people in line. Mostly I envision his usage as just someone to contact villians. "Someone's looking for you," type of posting so villians can have a level of deniability between them. Hope that's not a problem. Thanks.

Sammy got out of the boat he had procured to take him to the old derlict oil rig. The rig looked old and very shoddy but from what he heard, inside it was the place to be. Sammy climbed up the ladder and was surprised to see a man waiting for him at the top. "Welcome, Sammy Cosentino, also known as The Ghost," he began. He gestured behind him and smiled. "Welcome to the Arena. A neutral haven where people such as yourself can relax and make new partnerships." Sammy blinked at the knowledge the man had on him. Sammy smiled as he looked about the area. "Well, it seems you did your homework. So, who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?" The man returned the smile in just an easy fashion. "Well, I am the one that proctects the Arena from prying eyes. You may call me Legend." Sammy continued to smile. "So you own this place?" "No, I simply keep wtach to ensure that the rules are upheld. Anyone who breaks the rules will be severely dealt with," Legend said with a stern look upon his face. Sammy nodded his head in understanding. Legend led Sammy into the main building.

It didn't take Duncan long to spot the girl in teh red dress again. She was still dancing, this time with someone else. Duncan leaned back and took another sip of his drink. 'She really can move,' he thought as he continued to watch the couple dance. He was enjoying watching her dance and saw no reason to dance himself. 'Sooner or later, she'll get off the dance floor. I might try talk to her then. Till then, I think I'll just enjoy the show.' Duncan tapped his foot enjoying the music as he watched Megan dance.

With bullets flying here and there, Sammy knew that things had become very unlucky for him. Another bullet hits him but Sammy is able to shrug off the effect. The guards order to get on the gorund gives Sammy an idea. 'Time for me to split this scenario. Now here's hoping they decide they just saw a ghost!' Keeping his hands up as he slowly began to lower to the ground, Sammy took a deep breath and continued right through the floor. The villian doesn't go far, just deep enough to not be seen by the guards. Once within the floor, Sammy's eyes adjust and he orientates his position.

Naw, no problem whatsoever. I need to get use to playing with a Ref anyway so it's good to see how things work out. I went around checking about that and it seems you're correct. I simply misunderstood how the Damage AP was written in the UP. Later, I'll do an extensive write up on the descriptors of my powers so that I and others know how his powers work. Spending a villain point to improve the roll. Touchness DC 18 (1d20+5-1=5) Toughness DC 18 [reroll from villian point] (1d20+5-1=12) Which makes it an 22. Looks like it's time for the Ghost to vamoose. Premeating through the floor.

In only a few moments, the world had turned upside down. The first guard fired so quickly it was a wonder that Sammy was able to activate his own powers. Sammy staggered backward slightly as the bullet hit. Light swam before his eyes, causing him to lower his defenses. Even as Sammy tried to clear his head, the first guard fired again. This time, Sammy was able to withstand the blow but he wasn't out of the woods yet. The last guard still had a clear shot.
