The telepath sighed; it was never fun crushing some guy's hopes, but as long as she was in a great relationship, she was going to have to get used to it. "Well, at least ah probably kept you out of jail, so that's a plus," she said with a smile. "Ah guess ah'll see you around school?" Then she paused and frowned slightly. "You sure about the ride? It's no trouble; ah can at least drop you off at a bus stop or somethin'."

Pol was quite surprised by the unfolding events; as a robot, he was obviously not affected by Sebastian's mind control, but the very fact that he would do such a thing was almost beyond his comprehension. Wasn't that the sort of things supervillains did? Surely they must have their own high school where Sebastian belonged. Things quickly escalated when the one called Felix swung a mighty blow the mind controller; while it was very upsetting to see one student swing at another, he certainly understood the anger behind it. Placing himself between the two boys, the synthetic student held up his hands. "Please, we should not be fighting on school grounds!" Then he turned to face the one who started this whole mess. "Sebastian, how could you? Didn't your parents teach you not to use your powers on innocent people? Surely that's illegal!"

Pol decided that it might be nice for the children to see a wider variety of faces represented, so they chose their favorite female form today. Even with the heels on the Claremont uniform boots, she barely came up to Luke's shoulders. The synthetic had very few encounters with small children up until this point, and she was very excited for the opportunity to meet them and answer their questions. "Good morning, sir," Pol said, trying to control her excitement. "It's an honor to be here today!"

Lulu shook her head as she wiped away tears with the ball of her hand. "It's alright; that's what we have therapists for, right?" She chuckled ruefully as she fetched a box of Kleenex for the two of them. "Ah'm sorry that things aren't so great at home for you either, ah guess." She pointed as her temple and shrugged apologetically as she sat down next to Judy. "Anythn' you'd like to talk about?"
-
"It was....it was great." Lulu winced and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Look, Luke, ah'm not sure....mah Lord, ah sound like mah Aunt Polly. Ah'm not sure this is the best idea; us hangin' out alone." She stroked her chin thoughtfully. "Now ah can't speak for you, on account ah'm tryin' to stay out of your head, but ah think there's a little bit of chemistry between us...a little heat. And in a parallel world where ah'm not datin' an amazin' guy, that wouldn't be a problem." The redhead sighed and shook her head. "But we ain't on that world right now. And ah may be a telepath and smart as a whip, but ah'm still an eighteen year old girl; ah got a mind an' body an' feelin's that ah cannot always control. So maybe it's better if ah drop you off somewheres and we call it a night." She scrunched up her face and shrugged "Whattya say?"

Gretchen looked up from her work and spoke in her usual deadpan. "Incredibly. Your timing couldn't be worse. I have to scan every item in this because my new hire Keitha appears to lack the most basic computer skills. What's up?" It was always hard to read the sarcastic musician, but there seemed to be a glimmer of interest and maybe the ghost of a smile on her lips. At the very least, she seemed to be listening as she resumed her scanning.

Are there any nameless NPC students being affected?

Shift suggests negotiations. Heritage suggests punching.
-
I'd be fine with that.

Of course he does ??

See, this is the sort of s### that pisses Lulu off; lucky for Sebastian she's not there ?

Shift is immune, as they are a robot ?

"Ah'm much better, thanks," Lulu said as she put a hand to her tummy, her Khaleesi wear fading back to her usual fashionable look. "This might sound kind of weird, but maybe you could make some sort of ridin' saddle? Obviously you wouldn't need reins or a bridle, but maybe add some handles and securin' straps, y'know, for safety."

Pol smiled and shrugged. "One form is as comfortable as any other. I can maintain them indefinitely with no effort." The robot's form rippled and shrunk into a pretty mixed-race girl with curly black hair, then swelled into a colorful vintage jukebox, and finally droped into a low, sleek Japanese motorcycle before resuming the blonde youth's form again. "You see? And I didn't even break a sweat." His goofy smile was downright infectious.

"I feel that since I am rooming with a student who identifies as male this semester, it would be more accommodating to adopt a male form as well," Pol said with a slight nod. "But if others wish to see my default form, I would be happy to accommodate them." A ripple passed over the young man's surface, transforming his shape into a neutral robotic form, complete with with a smooth featureless dome of steel and glass where his eyes should be. Another ripple followed shortly thereafter undoing the change. "For now, I think this shall be the face of Pol on the first floor of Kord." Once Zach made his presence known, the blonde robot turned to address him with a smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Zach. I am your roommate, Pol. I hope that we can be friends."

Casey had been busy with school stuff for much of the summer at an amazing internship, though she'd managed to squeeze in some family time and a trip with her fellow Pies, but now she was back at school and a college senior. Where did the time go? But then Terrifica called, and all thoughts of school instantly left her head; the game was afoot! Less than five minutes later, Miracle Girl finally passed the several security checks to enter the lab, and strode in with a smile and a wave. "Hi Terrifica! What's up? Oh, and how's your summer been?"

There was an audible creak, and then a tall, blonde young man with the smooth features of a J. Crew catalog model stepped sheepishly into the room; he wore a red flannel shirt, relaxed cut jeans and a pair of black Converse All-Stars. All he carried over one shoulder was a comically-small daypack, which looked more like something a second grader would take to school. He held up his free hand and smiled with a slight nod. "Hello. My name is Pol Rothstein-Frasier. I think one of you might be my roommate?" His voice was unusual, a bit higher than one might expect, but still pleasant.

As soon as she was up in the air, Lulu became acutely aware of two things. One, this was one of the most thrilling things she'd ever done in her young life, and two, it was weird and kind of inappropriate for her to be riding another student, even if they were currently a dragon. Maybe if there were some sort of saddle involved, but bareback was a major no-go. "Uh, y'know, y'know what? Ah'm kind of, uh, feelin' them White Castles swishing around funny downstairs, y'know what a mean? Maybe just do a, like, a quick pass over the river and head back, okay? Ah don't want to toss mah cookies all over your back."
-
"Ah rode a dragon," Lulu offered cheerfully. "He's a sophomore, down on the first floor." She pointed downward quite unnecessarily. "Had a real fun conversation with Adam after that, because it got a little bit weird, actually." Suddenly feeling very exposed in front of Danica's parents, she turned to the new girl as a distraction. "Ah'm sorry, ah didn't catch your name earlier; what was it again?" She could hide her pink cheeks with an illusion, but Eira would still see them, which sort of defeated the whole point...
