I should be able to run the AutoPost Countomotron this evening. Please make sure all your IC posts have [iC] or (IC) in the Subject line, and any GM or NPC posts have [GM] or (GM) in the subject line. (If they don't, they won't get counted.)

Free Action: HP to clear fatigue (5 left now) Free Action: Internal monologue ("duologue")/debate on what to do. Free Action: Maintain Force Field Free Action: Switch from Flight to Teleport Move Action: Reconfigure Gadget Free Action: Computers check to find a map of this place. (His Mental Quickness should let him do so as a Free Action.) His Tentacle Brain's still on Enhanced Int, so with Skill Mastery he's got a 44. Free Action: Check out the critter he just blasted, look for a match. Move Action: Assuming he finds the other Wraith, Teleport to it. Assuming Dok gets to it, is it in the middle of "combat or other immediate danger" when he reaches it? I.e., could he attempt to stall it with his Fascinate feat? If so, I'll surge for the standard action to do so. If not, free action to shout "Hey, you!"

"Phalanx!" Archeville called out, though he was still invisible to the Terminus Teen's eyes. "Keep an eye on dose people, let me know if dey make any moves! Gossamer, Midnight, I need cover vhile I vork to dismantle dis contraption!" "Und make sure Havok does not escape!," he added, pointing to the armored man... and realizing he was still cloaked and they couldn't see his gesture.

At the G4 coverage of Comic-Con, they announced that four Marvel anime series -- Iron Man, Wolverine, X-Men, and Blade -- would all start in 2011, exclusive to G4.
-
I'm pretty sure that's not true. ... why would you look past them? Fiction & folklore are full of undead vamps who sire kids. No, but they are dating, so it's inevitable ;)

[Interceptors] Zombie Powder is a Helluva Drug [OOC]
Dr Archeville replied to Dr Archeville's topic in Archives
The first one, and the one y'all are at now, are ones most associated with Los Diablos Rojos, the Red Devils. -
"An... associate of mein, a former teammate," he replied, "vonce implied dat de current 'vampire svell' in de media -- in popular teen novels, in movies und television, und so on -- is a plot by vampires demsleves to make us lower our guard. To get us used to dem, accepting of dem; to see dem as angst-ridden victims to be pitied und nurtured, not de blood-gulping fiends of old. And idea vhich is... almost too disturbing to ponder." He chuckled a bit, and put his arm around her shoulder (as well as he could) when she'd moved to patted his. "Ah, vhat can I say -- mein tastes are just von of de stereotypical dings about me. I am quite fond of Jägermeister -- more shock, ja -- und of Apfelkorn, Bärenfang, Goldwasser, Ratzeputz... er, of Schnapps und vodkas from Germany." He smiled and gave a slight shrug, "in some vays, I am very much a patriot." "Und I haff several bottles of dem all, stashed avay," he continued, winking, "und vould be more dan happy to introduce you to dem over de course of de evening." A few of the passing employees waved to or greeted Archeville, and he flashed smiles at them and gave quick nods back. Just as many were so focused on getting from A to B or on the projects in their hands, though, that they didn't even notice the couple. He led them down one hall, to a bank of elevators, and went to one on the far end. A modified freight elevator, it appeared, which could easily and comfortably accommodate Fulcrum. Just as the doors opened, she'd whispered her latest question. The brief flash of shock on the Doktor's face was priceless. "I... that is..." He turned away slightly and nervously cleared his throat; when he turned back, he was smiling, and pulled her into the empty elevator with him. "I dink dey are qvite good. You haff said many times dat you are concerned dat ve are too different, dat I vill grow bored mit you. But I do not see dat happening. Relationships are maintained by commonalities, by shared values und goals und tastes und so on, but it is de differences dat make a relationship exciting, vibrant, dat keeps it interesting und alive! Vhen each can bring someding new to de ozher, show dem a new vay of seeing de vorld... vhen each can still find some vay to surprise de ozher... vell... I dink dat is special." "Und if you get too villful, my dear," he added, hunching slightly, rubbing his hands together, and taking on a hamtastic B-movie tone, "I can just haff mein robot minions attach a hypnochip onto de base of your neck und make you mein slave!" He threw his head back, "Muah hah hah hah hah hah!"

Trying my hand at creating a character from scratch.

I tend to go by the D20 Modern ruling that weapons -- including ones with non-moving parts, like swords -- are made with Craft [Mechanical]. -
[Interceptors] Zombie Powder is a Helluva Drug [OOC]
Dr Archeville replied to Dr Archeville's topic in Archives
There are two places you can go next that are roughly equidistant from where you are now: another Red Devils hangout, or one for the Black Devils. -

(23:06:27) Geez3r: most of the guests haven't given Grim their presents yet IIRC (23:06:35) Heritage: this is actually true (23:08:12) Heritage: she got lovely flowers from Stesha (not sure if that was a formal gift or not), an ancient scroll from Elena and a ton of cool crap from her dead grampa (23:08:30) Heritage: the flowers were awesome, so she took them as a gift (23:09:04) Dr_Archeville tries to remember what he'd had Dok get her. Something that can fit in the envelop in his pocket... (23:10:34) Heritage: a TARDIS key? (23:13:04) Geez3r: In case I forget to give it to Grim at the B-Day, Eli got her a photo album. It is filled with 2 page, panoramic spreads of various famous cities and national landmarks from all over the world, take from high heights. The image on the right page is during sunrise, and the picture on the left is taken at sun set. Each picture "facing" the sun, so it creates a sort of 360 degree image of all of these landmarks. (23:14:05) Heritage: cool, you should post that, Geez (23:14:34) Dr_Archeville: oooh (23:15:17) Dr_Archeville: no, not a TARDIS key; he knows what sort of mischief she'd get into if allowed unfettered access to the whole of space and time (23:15:41) Cyroa: heh (23:15:48) Gizmo: Just the key, though! No TARDIS! (23:16:40) Cyroa: "Here's this key. It opens a door to this super powerful time machine that looks like a phone booth. I'm just not telling you WHICH one...Good luck!" (23:16:53) Dr_Archeville: hrrmmm.... (23:17:58) Lone_Star: (23:18:23) Geez3r: LOL (23:19:44) Heritage: Yeah, her last jaunt back in time screwed up enough (23:20:25) Dr_Archeville appends to-do list: Scan Grim for lingering chrontion radiation. (23:21:05) Heritage: maybe Elena could set up a mind link so he can just watch the whole thing? (23:21:20) Geez3r: "I'll scan Grim for lingering chrontion if you know what I mean." (23:21:21) Heritage: Grim wouldn't mind, actually (23:21:34) angrydurf: heh (23:21:38) Dr_Archeville: Ceiling Scarab is watching you celebrate. (23:21:41) Heritage: well not the way Geez said it (23:21:45) angrydurf: That juxtopostion was WIN!

"That I am!," the zombie drawled cheerily, "an' based on yer name, an' what I saw 'tween you an' Anastacia, I can guess what kinda 'work' you do. Always good ta have another guide on hand!" And at that, his hand snapped off in Nick's. He did not seem to notice. "Seems we got more'n our callin's in common, though -- is that a bit of a Southern drawl I hear in yer voice? 'Cuz if so, thank the lawd!," he cackled. "I been up ta mah neck in Yankees!"

I'm still very uncomfortable with VPs being used for Fortune feats (like Ultimate Effort).

As Kid Cthulhu flew off, another weird figure approached. This one was known to both Nick and Fleur, the former by reputation, the latter by shared work experiences. Thought Squid-Face'd never leave. Man, that guy gives me the willies. Wish I knew why! 'Course, th'Angel's still there... eh, one thing at a time. "Hey Fleur!," Dead Head's gravelly yet cheerful voice called out. He shambled into view, waving, wearing old sneakers, worn dark slacks, and red cardigan zipper sweater with what looked like a light blue shirt underneath. In place of a tie, he wore a small length of rope knotted into a noose. In short, he looked like a demented version of a kid's show host. He gave a curt nod to Freedom Angel, then turned to Nick and thrust out one hand. "Hey there!," he greeted, flashing as warm a rictus grin as he could, "Fleur an' the Angel ain't runnin' from or beatin' on ya, so I guess that means yer an okay guy."

In order to make sure the Refs accurately count all your IC posts and award you the due amount of power points, please post with a list of all the threads in which your character posted IC this month (including the News forum). Please also mark things from the Non-Canonical forum as being non-canonical, as those count 1/2 (2 posts made for your char in a non-canon thread count as 1 post for the char). And if you are GMing something, list those threads, too. GM-only posts -- as well as NPC Villain posts -- also count 1/2, and can be assigned to whichever of your characters needs a 'push' to get up in post numbers. When you make your list, please post a link to the IC threads -- preferably to the top of the page where your first post for that month appears -- so we (and the auto-count program) can jump right to it. Speaking of the AutoCounter: when you start a thread, make sure [iC] is in the title/subject line of the IC thread, and [OOC] is in the title of the OOC thread. If you make a post in an IC thread as a GM or an NPC, add [GM] in the subject line of the thread. If you make a post and [iC] is not in the subject line, the AutoCounter will not count it! Also, when you start a new thread, please mark it on the Timeline (if you have a handle here, you have an account for the Wiki, and anyone with an account can edit it). You do not have to be specific on the date, but I would like to keep track of when things are happening relative to each other. The Timeline also serves as an index for everything we've done in the nearly three years this site's been active, and it's useful to know if X happens before or after Y. Help us help you (and help us keep some measure of temporal continuity )

"Or ya could jes', y'know, listen fer mah voice," he replied with his own shrug. "Like thea factr I'd be tha only one talkin', sayin' something other than br- er, well, ya know. Ya said yerself that when ya don't see me, I sound like anyone else... though if that's true, you must know a lot'a smokers, heh heh." "Point I'm tryin' t'make is, does yer doc want ya ta be sure ya can tell me from other zombies by dressin' me up in bright primary colors an' makin' me look like yer friends, or by facin' yer fears an' gettin' ta know me?"

And, of course, if Archeville designed it, he'd have it look like his own glorious head, with trailing golden hair/nanofibre antennas! And when the syntheflesh is removed, like Brainiac's skull-ship! (The marketing department would dissuade him from that, and insist on something more tween/teen-friendly.) What's MIMIR's personality going to be like? Deadpan snarker, like Skeets? Or like House, condescending to all the inferior meat-brains around it?
-
28 minutes to go, gang! Get those posts int!

Dead Head was scaring/beating on the mob o' mooks. Can he get into melee range with the Mimic?
