  8. In order to make sure the Refs accurately count all your IC posts and award you the due amount of power points, please post with a list of all the threads in which your character posted IC this month (including the News forum). Please also mark things from the Non-Canonical forum as being non-canonical, as those count 1/2 (2 posts made for your char in a non-canon thread count as 1 post for the char). And if you are GMing something, list those threads, too. GM-only posts -- as well as NPC Villain posts -- also count 1/2, and can be assigned to whichever of your characters needs a 'push' to get up in post numbers. When you make your list, please post a link to the IC threads -- preferably to the top of the page where your first post for that month appears -- so we (and the auto-count program) can jump right to it. Speaking of the AutoCounter: when you start a thread, make sure [iC] is in the title/subject line of the IC thread, and [OOC] is in the title of the OOC thread. If you make a post in an IC thread as a GM or an NPC, add [GM] in the subject line of the thread. Also, when you start a new thread, please mark it on the Timeline (if you have a handle here, you have an account for the Wiki, and anyone with an account can edit it). You do not have to be specific on the date, but I would like to keep track of when things are happening relative to each other. The Timeline also serves as an index for everything we've done in the nearly three years this site's been active, and it's useful to know if X happens before or after Y. Help us help you (and help us keep some measure of temporal continuity )
  9. Dead Head chuckled again, "if he's bein' cagey 'bout it, then he must still be thinkin' like a man, not some Space-God like tha editorials say!" "Always wanted ta go to Chicago some day. Lot'a horror movies set up in Illinois, an' they got some real nice cemeteries. There's even a website on 'em, I saw it back in..." He was about to say "back when I was alive," but quickly changed gears. "So do yer folks know about yer superheroin' activities? Any other supers in tha family?"
  10. "Happy ta be'a help, ma'am," Dead Head replied, shaking Robin's hand. It was exactly as cool and rubbery as she'd expected. The zombie turned back to Spirit!Lewis, and gave a slight bow, "we's gonna stop 'em, sir, an' get yer hand back to tha rest'a ya. Don't you worry none." The zombie closed its eyes and inhaled, sucking back in all the ectoplasm and returning the spirits to their normally invisible and inaudible selves. He made another slight bow to Spirit!Lewis, then turned back to the sorceress. "So, where we goin' next?"
  11. Dead Head shrugged, "well, that Wander gal might, but she ain't the worst I've faced. Though I think she might be busy with Lady Winter tonight, gettin' her a place set up. Gal's got a good heart, jes'... lets an' lots an' lots'a rage." "Whoa, back up -- not havin' it here? Why not?" The zombie seemed sincerely surprised, "Seriously, why not have it here? You an' Star got a ton'a friends 'mong the heroin' community, an' even if ya didn't, Star's so danged pow'rful no one'd dare interfere! An' like ya said, Jack an' Taylor had the deck stacked again' 'em -- who'd wanna mess with y'all? Unless..." His eyes narrowed, and the rictus grin contorted into an approximation of a smirk, "y'all gettin' married up in space? Some planet he saved gonna be host for tha thing?"
  12. Or maybe it was the light of the sickly green flames which wreathed Dead Head's eyes. Who could say? All Stesha knew for certain was that the zombie's hand was cool and kinda rubbery. "That is right purty." The zombie's rictus grin widened a bit, "hope y'all's weddin' goes off without a hitch! I heard Jac & Taylor's had a mess'a problems...but you was there, weren'tcha? Helped get all them folks out, right?" He released her hand and let his arms hang freely, "ain't surprised I never seen Dark Star; like I said, I don't see many heroin' folks, 'less they's investigatin' somethin' mystical or attendin' a funeral fer a friend. Guess there's some places even superheroes don't like goin'"

  14. The assembled heroes saw another figure advance upon the escaping criminals. Not one of the guards, but a... biker? Wielding a... shovel? It was Dead Head! Right, time ta put some fear in these bozos before knockin' 'em down As the Revoltin' Revenant swiftly shambled up to the rabble, it let out a blood-curdling moan, and the emerald flames in its eyes began also glowing in its mouth. "BRRRAAAIIINSSS! You have used your BRAINS for evil, now I will TAAAKE THEEEM!" It then he began kayaking through the rabble with its shovel, wading through with what looked to be horrifyingly reckless abandon. In truth, though, he was using some care in aiming his blows, being careful to administer merely small concussions to knock them out for a short time, not life-threatening brain damage.
  15. Move Action to move into melee range with Rabble. Free action to switch Necromantic Array to Fearsome Presence. Standard Action to use Fearsome Presence 12 (DC 22 Will save). Extra Effort to Surge. HP to nix Fatigue from EE. Standard action to attack, using Takedown Attack 2 to kayak through. Power Attack -5 Attack/-5 Damage. Attack vs. Rabble; Power Attack -5 Attack/+5 Damage; DC DC 33 (24 for Shovel, +5 Power Attack, +4 from Takedown Attack 2), 35 if he gets his Sneak Attack bonus. (1d20+6=24) (And since he wasn't around to hear Arrowhawk's Master Plan -- and since they didn't even know he was down there, or account for him -- I'm not giving him any bonuses from it) Force's (like the Rabble) don't get a dodge bonus on their Defense -- does DH's Sneak Attack come into play? Damage is DC 33 (24 for Shovel, +5 Power Attack, +4 from Takedown Attack 2), 35 if he gets his Sneak Attack bonus.
  16. ... so, Val stunted Super-Movement (Dimensional) off the Teleport power of the Orb and took Gigawatt to the Norns, right? 'Cuz bringing the Norns to FC would call down both Phantom, and probably Freedom Angel too.
  17. "I don't know, sir, but we's gonna find out," Dead Head again assured the spirit. He stepped forward and patted the spirit on the shoulder, hoping that contact would make him feel a bit more at ease. Sickly kid, and the mother made a Hand of Glory to break into somewhere to steal money for a cure? Or was the kid really some sort of demonic familiar? The zombie his head turned slightly, enough to face Robin. "Whadda ya make'a all this?"
  18. Dead Head let out a long, low whistle at the sight of the ring, "oh, that is nice! Did Dark Star make that for ya?" He leaped off the headstone he'd been sitting on and shambled closer, one hand outstretched. "Is he really as much a Boy Scout as everyone says? I ain't ever met tha guy, but I read tons'a stories in tha papers." The zombie glanced around, nodded, and turned back to Stesha. "Nah, looks ya got it all. An' it looks tons better'n it did before! I'm sure the family'll be pleased... well, if'n they ever come out here."
  19. "That's good, Lewis, that's very good, sir." Dead Head nodded to the spirit, "An' the woman? Anythin' on her? Didja get a good look at her? Or hear her say anythin'? Anythin' at all?" The zombie's fists were beginning to clench, and he tried to keep them open so as not to spook the spook. Murder for profit, for magical rituals, was exactly the sort of thing that made him lose it, but he couldn't do anything until he had more info. "We're gonna get 'em, Lewis, sir," the zombie assured, "an' make sure you get a proper restin'."
  20. Dead Head actually shuddered at the mention of Bridezillas, "man, I saw an ep'a that once at Jack an' Taylor's. An' they say I'm scary! I'd rather face Malador and a mess'a demons than some'a them gals!" The zombie chuckled again when the top changed to clothing and housing. "Clothin's easy ta come by, I just need ta remember ta go by an' replace ma outfits more often. An' bein' out here does make it easier fer me ta' tend ta the ones what need help. An' puttin' aside tha legal issue of me ownin' property, what woudl I need a home fer? I don't sleep, I don't eat -- not even... well.... y'know..." He winked at Fleur, "An' cold an' heat don't bother me none. Knowin' me, all I'd do if I had a real place'a my own is sit around an' watch tv all day, or try an' use that world wahd web thing."
  21. Extra Effort to stunt the following off his Comprehend Power Comprehend 1 (spirits; Extras: Affects Others + Self, Burst Area; PFs: Progression 2/25-ft. burst) Which'll let Robin (and anyone else within 25 feet of DH) see/speak spirits. HP to nix the fatigue from the EE.
