"BRAAAIIINS!" Tweens and teens shrieked and squealed as the ran out of the carnival's Haunted House, and a few marveled at how realistic the zombie looked. Opinions were mixed on whether it was an animatronic or a guy in really good makeup, but all agreed it was the best part of the attraction. The realistic look wasn't the only reason: the zombie was in a different spot every hour, adding an element of unpredictability. "Man, this is nice," he thought out loud between visits. "Earn a little pocket money for what comes second nature to me, and I get to interact with folks! Well, this ain't really 'interacting,' but I get to hang out with the carnies after hours, and they're good folks. Where else can a guy like me-" The sounds of more 'victims' grabbed his attention. "Oooh, showtime. Ahem... brrraaaiiinnnsss....." he moaned as he lumbered out.

"Tote dat barge! Lift dat bale!," Dead Head replied as he pulled the cover over him. He sniffed a bit as he crawled down, "Wow -- even the sewers of Freedom smell nice! Well... nice-er." In the darkness of the sewer, the zombie's flaming green eyes were much more prominent, throwing flickering shadows all around him. "Lead on, o leader!"

Or are Avenger & Phantom going to go off (like Fred & Daphne), leaving Samael & Dead Head to search for ingredients to make a giant sandwich?

"A deli? In de Fens?" Doc said, pausing momentarily i his retrievals to make sure he'd heard correctly. "I had hard most all de delis dere are money laundering spots for de Mafia." He bent back to retrieve a few more things from the refrigerator, then did a double-take back at Sam, "is dere a big Mafiya presence down dere? I'm sure dey've tried to snatch you up, if so." The spread on the counter before Sam was quite impressive, almost as varied as what he had in his deli! The amounts were smaller, of course, but the sheer variety was unusual for one person's home. And not just meats -- there were cheeses and mustards and other condiments, and almost a dozen different types of bread.

Meanwhile.... Dead Head had been in Freedom for about three weeks, and -- generally speaking -- liked what he saw. He'd had some unpleasant experiences, sure, but in the end those worked out, and he met some nice folks during those events. Why, even before arriving in Freedom City proper, he met some nice folks in the forest to the west. Freedom just seemed a nice place to be. Yeah, it was the center of superhuman activity in the world, but it's probably because the people here have seen and been through so much that they were so friendly, so willing to reach out to help. Well, the superheroes were, at least. From his perch high in the yew tree next to the tall & narrow St. Stephen's Church, Dead Head was pleasantly surprised at how incredibly peaceful the place was. Something had called him here, but at the moment, he had absolutely no idea what it could have been. "I'm probably gonna get struck by lightning or attacked by somethin' for sayin' this, but... this is really, really nice."

His Gadgets can make scanners that can detect pretty much anything but magic. What would, say, an x-ray show? Or a blood sample?
-
"I am sure you vould be gentle, Frau Albright" he replied to Psyche, "but... vell, de last few times I engaged in any sort of telepathic activity, it proved... unpleasant. Mostly for de telepath involved. Mein brain, you see, tends to, vell, 'overload' others vhen dey try to interact mit it, even if only to put information into it." It wasn't a complete lie... but it wasn't the complete truth, either. As others arrived and talked about heir exploits, Doc noticed Erin and Hope edging towards the door, and the venom they seemed to have towards the young man, Eddie, who had tried to shake his hand. Looking back to Ms. Harcourt, then the assembled teens, he spoke up, "I am sure you haff all had a difficult und trying time, und certainly deserve a rest. However, for those of you who can push on just a bit longer, I am sure Ms. Harcourt und Mr. Summers vould like reports from as many of you as possible now, vhile all de events und details are still fresh in your minds."

Instead of linking/adding things to the Create Object power, you could do an Array. Something like Create Object AP: Blast (created guns) AP: Strike (created melee weapons) and so on

Sure; you're the one that got the ball rolling on this ;)

Training in the Wharton State Forest (IC)
Dr Archeville replied to Master_Pelle's topic in Wharton State Forest
Far to the western end of Wharton Forest was a highway, down which a semi truck sped. As it passed, a man-sized form droppe off from under the trailer and rolled down the ditch into the woods. "Ooof... ow... sonuva... last... time... I... travel... coach!" After a few moments the form stopped rolling, when it slammed into and wrapped around a very old and very thick tree. The form was still. And then slowly rose up, popping dislocated limbs back into place as it did. "Eh, still safer than air travel. Now, let's see, where is-" The figure turned around, getting its bearing, then, "ah-ha! East!" The figure set off, whistling a tune as it went. It was headed towards Lantern Hill, but would be having a few encounters before it reached its destination. -
"Do ya, now?," Dead Head replied, his eyes going a bit wider, "mind leading the way? I'm new to town -- only been here about a week -- and I don't have any way to track things like that. At least, not unless some ghost comes to me and leads the way." Silent movement, dresses all in black, knows all the necromancer hang-outs, familiar mode of speech... you wouldn't happen to be some sort of revenant, wouldja, Avenger? Yes, I'll definitely have to keep an eye on you, make sure you don't become what I almost did.

Stick it in the Ashton & Greenville sub-forum, sez I.

Yup, reduce the range to Touch, you've got it in hand.
-
Groovy 8-) I'd got with the Power Loss as a 1pp flaw. Probably won't be many cases where you won't have access to something to eat to re-arrange.

There is something else to consider: things created with Create Object can't really do anything. For example, you can't make a working gun, since that'd need the Blast power, or a working car, since that's require Speed. You can make walls and cages (since all they need is Toughness), and swords or maces (though the damage would be figured as if using an improvised weapon), but that's it.

Riverside Park would work, but Liberty Park (Parkside, in Downtown Freedom) would do just as well. Might be better, in fact, since it's got more open land (the most open land of any place in Freedom City). Ocean Heights Amusement Park (Port Regal, in South Freedom) could work, too; when the circus comes to town, it opens next to the OHAP, so they could do the same for the carnival.
