Under a mansion that was home to an "upstanding member of the local moneyed elite"? Sounds like it'd be in Lantern Hill ("built up in Revolutionary times and became one of the most exclusive neighborhoods for judges, bankers, and the “old money†of Freedom City").

I meant to ask this in Chat last night: Why? What's so horrible about Divine becoming a true goddess?
-
I'm saying that for it to be a Drawback, the frequency of it happening needs to be once every 3-5 adventures (Uncommon frequency).

Geckoman, [High Note], and Quark. Thursday evening (Sept 25th), 5 days before the Delivery at Pier 18. Liberty Park, Parkside, Downtown Freedom. The moon is a waning crescent, only 15% visible. 64 degrees, 20mph NE winds, and there's a light rain which has been pouring for the past two hours. "Oh, I think I will remain here," he said, a bit of nervousness creeping into his voice, "or, rather, in my warm and toasty home. But," he took out a notepad and scribbled a number on it, "do call me if you find anything on your excursions!" Well, that's what I want you two to think, anyway. He flashed his salesman's smile at them again. Ember Paw & Jos Terhune. Tuesday morning (Sept 30th, around 8:00am), day of the Delivery at Pier 18. Jos's Home/Shoppe, Riverside, Downtown Freedom. Sirius Vulpes had been laying low since his meeting (as Ember Paw) with Terhune the other night, but he did feel some obligation to show up and finalize the plans for picking up the shipment of goods which would, he had been told, form the initial backbone of his antiques shoppe. When he opened the door to the shoppe, the place seemed empty, moreso than usual, in preparation for receiving the shipments. Suddenly, he heard Jos's voice, from behind him. "Good morning, Mister Vulpes. I believe you and I have an important matter to discuss before we continue any further business."

On the one tentacle, when I asked Kenson something similar, he had this to say: On the other tentacle, Fleur having her hair cut as described would, I'd imagine, be such a rare occurrence -- maybe happening once or twice in her entire adventuring career/life, not once every three-to-five adventures -- that it wouldn't be worth any points; it'd be more of a Complication. ("Her hair hasn't grown back yet for this adventure, so she starts with an extra Hero Point.")

"You get used to it," Archeville murmured to her as he signed two autographs for every five that came her way, "... eventually." Once clear, Archeville greeted the waitress at the door with a broad smile and a few quick words of German, which the woman appeared to not only understand but also replied in. She lead them both through the busy establishment to the bar, though Estelle did note that the waitress lead Viktor by hand. Once at the bar, he pulled out a stool for his companion, and made a show of dusting it off with a large handkerchief he pulled from a pocket. "I do believe you vill haff a fine view of de place from here, Doctor de Havilland."
-
"Actually...." he began, keeping his eyes locked onto hers (partly to keep her attention, partly to see if she was about to turn again), "if you can extend your senses to 'see' und 'hear' through de plants around de island, give me a better view of what's going on, dat vould be of immense use to me. I believe de Varden has a small bonsai tree in his office you can use, too."

Captain Knievel vs. Malice: Extreme Chess Challenge! (OOC)

I am thoroughly enjoying this ;) -
"My heart?," the purse snatcher say, still trying to act coolly charming, "well, it's yours now, baby." The woman whose purse he stole gives a thoroughly disgusted "harumph!", then walks off.

Archeville approached the test area, and as he did several cameras and other sensors emerged from the walls and trained on him. A moment after a given camera or sensor focused on him, a small read beam shot out from a barrel under it, and the sensor made a beeping sound. When he looked to his left, a large monitor had risen from the floor, and showed the feeds from all the camera and sensors, showing dozens of view of Dr. Archeville, the dozens of red dots being painted on him, and a running tally of the number of times he'd been "hit". "Ah, it vould seem de object of dis test is to avoid being hit. Or perhaps, it is..." he raised his Gadget and pressed a button, "to avoid being detected." At first nothing seemed to happen, and the cameras and sensors continued to pain red dots on the Doktor. He began to fly around the test area, forcing the cameras to work a bit to keep track of him, and he continued to press the button on his Gadget. Still nothing happened. "Mein compliments to whomever designed dese sensors, Doctor Brown!," he called to his tester, "but I do believe dat if I hover... here, den...." he had moved to the exact center of the testing area, and tried his Gadget again. This time something did definitely happen: the cameras and sensors all began looking this way and that, as if unable to find any targets, at all, anywhere. "Ja, dat is much better. De radio pulse mein Gadget produced vas having some trouble broadcasting through to all of de sensors at vonce -- possibly due to someding in de valls -- but it got through vonce I vas in de center of de area."

Again... holy frack! Terhune's dumbfounded expression returned, though not as blatant. His jaw was not nearly as slack, for example. "Yes, that is," he said as he approached the table and reached for the crystalline disk, "quite an acceptable agreement. A type I am not a stranger to, I would add." Before actually touching the disk, he pulls his hand back, "one more question: can this... system be used to, shall we say, disguise items? To make something appear to be very old, possibly worn and weathered?"

Alternate Versions of Dr. Archeville

Der Eisen-Doktor Power Level: PL 10 (150/150 pp) Trade-Offs: -3 Attack for +3 Save Difficulty. -3 Defense for +3 Toughness. [floatr][/floatr] Appearance: Archeville's new body has an almost Art Deco look to it, like something from a 50's science fiction movie. The whole thing looks to be made of riveted steel, though a closer inspection reveals the rivets are sensor units. His body is a lustrous white-silver, with Rhine-blue diodes illuminating his eyes and a speaker grille for a mouth. The bottoms of his feet are soled in black rubber. He stands 10'0" (3.05 meters) tall and weighs 8,800 pounds (4,000 kg). Background/History: Shortly after coming back to Freedom City, Doktor Archeville was attacked by a psychopathic plant-woman. On Earth-Prime, Archeville's force field and lab coat protected him from her deadly thorns, but on some worlds it did not. Der Eisen-Doktor inhabits one such world. After being seriously injured by the attack, Archeville was rushed to one of the local hospitals. As they worked, flying squid-like robots burst in and carried him away; no one knew who or what sent the robots. Some of the hospital staff, knowing of Archeville from his exploits throughout Europe, called in help to try and track him down and rescue him. The police had no luck, but the Freedom League (specifically, Captain Thunder and Daedalus) were able to track them. They discovered that they were robots of Archeville's own design, set up as a failsafe in case he was grievously injured, programed to rescue him and carry him back to his home. Fearing both for his well-being and that the robots may have been taken over by some villain to attack Archeville in his moment of weakness, they went to his home in Hanover, but were immediately attacked by the house's defense systems. Captain Thunder & Daedalus fought their way in, and faced more trials in the scientist's home itself. Eventually reaching his main laboratory, the two Leaguers were surprised to find a 10-foot-tall metal automaton skimming about, bashing into things as it went. The two tried to stop it, but it proved amazingly strong and resilient. Daedalus finally kit-bashed a magnetic grappler, which stopped it and (amazingly) seemed to calm it. After a thorough investigation, including some attempts to hack into its crystalline "hard drive," it was discovered that this mighty automaton housed a portion of Archeville's mind. He had planned to temporarily transfer his mind into a smaller, agile mechanical body so he could better work on his own damaged organic body, but he had miscalculated the intricacies of his own brain, and when the laboratory's automated systems found there was not enough room in the medical droid's body for his mind it shunted the rest into the larger one. In an initial pseudo-rage the gargantuan simpleton he had wrecked most of his laboratory (including the medical droid which had housed much of his higher mind), trapping him in the giant metal body forever. Personality/Motivation: Archeville once tried to use his superhuman intellect for the betterment of all mankind, and strove to do something heroic and noble with his gifts. Now those gifts are gone, replaced with cold, brute strength. Somewhere deep in Doktor Eisen, Archeville weeps at his great loss. Archeville still serves the people of Freedom in the best way he can, but is frustrated at what he half-remembers he used to be able to do. He desperately wants to regain his intellect, and Daedalus and others do know this, but even if Archeville's laboratory and notes hadn't been trashed in his initial rampage, it would take them months if not years to figure out how to do so. Archeville knows they're doing their best, and tries not to let his frustrations get the better of him. Quote: "U... ber... mensch!" Powers/Tactics: Archeville's superhuman intellect made him a master of a variety of scholarly and scientific fields, from acoustics to zoology. His work stood far ahead of the efforts of most other researchers, allowing him to produce gadgets, machines, and computers more advanced than any in the real world. Archeville was also skilled at using mundane items to produce highly effective gadgets and gear. Using baling wire, duct tape, circuit boards, and a TV, he could produce a laser rifle, a hologram projector, or some other gadget. With access to a standard janitorial closet, he could create potent corrosives and various types of bombs. All that is gone now. Instead, a mere fraction of Archeville's mind resides in an enhanced titanium alloy frame with plastisteel musculature. He is not wholly mindless, he does still show a glimmer of his cunning and resourcefulness, but his mental makeup does contain some severe flaws in it, flaws which he sometimes seems painfully half-cognizant of. Who knows what might happens to that wacky German scientist? 1) Der Eisen-Doktor (What if Dr. Archeville became a brain-damaged robot?) 2) What If... Doktor Archeville was a Mad Biologist? 3) What If... Doktor Archeville was a mage? 4) What If... Doktor Archeville was a Mad Alchemist? 5) What If... Doktor Archeville was a Mad Psychiatrist? 6) What if... Doktor Archeville was a cyborg/internalized his devices? 7) Doktor Archeville of Earth-Victoriana (Steampunk Dok) 8) Doktor Archeteuthis (Doktor Archeville of Ani-Earth) 9) Doktor Totenkopf (Doktor Archeville/Dead Head Amalgam)

Nope. :P
-
The two have nothing to do with each other. Elongation lets you elongate. Additional Limbs ether gives you additional manipulatory limbs, or lets you use something that's not a manipulatory limb (feet, a stretchy torso, etc.) as a manipulatory limb.
-
Descriptor. If it was a Drawback or Limitation, I would've listed it as such :P
-
Introducing: The Book (YouTube vid)
-
Then take Additional Limb 1 (can use torso to grapple).
-
Those are the three I would have guessed, but it's nice to have confirmation. I'll need an IC post from you, please, in which Exile appears at the Arena in answer to the call.
-
Not quite: if your torso is flexible enough that it can be used as well as a pair of regular hands, and you don't have actual hands (ex: you're some type of snake-person), you don't get the "No Hands" drawback, but you also don't need Additional Limbs, because your torso is your hands/limb.

The Fort save is not for something that would immediately cripple you/prevent you from continuing your chosen actions. It's more for a long-term thing.
