  1. And to actually answer your question... no, it would not be allowed. The whole concept is too Squicky.
  2. Been playing Prototype, eh?
  3. Works for me All updated.
  4. UP says something similar, actually: default is that you teleport to short range distance, not extended, though GMs may allow long-range 'ports as a full-round action & both you and the target are disoriented/flat-footed for one round afterwards.
  5. Edit for Belphegor: 2pp to gain 8r in Sense Motive. End result would look like Sense Motive 8 (+9) Edits done by Geez3r
  6. Hrm... only thing coming to mind is to do it as a Boost Super-Str which can only be used while in daylight. Something like Boost 6 (Super Strength, gains Super-Str 3; Flaw: Only in sunlight) [3pp] Which could be adjusted with the Total Fade extra and the Slow Fade power feat as desired.
  7. No. I've repeatedly expressed my dislike of Teleport/Transmit (Useable as Attack). If you want to move people without also moving with them, use TK.
  8. June 30th, 2009: Maestro and Medea cause many people in and around Freedom City to sing! (June 2009 Vignettes)
  9. No, that'd be this month. Congrats!
  10. D'oh! So you should! EDIT: And now you do!
  11. No. Just... no. If it requires a mile of dirt to block his sun-based regeneration, he should be regenerating just as well in moonlight. I'd be comfortable with Source/Daylight (must be in direct sunlight) or Source/Daytime at the place he gained his powers (implying a more mystical connection to the place where he was changed) if you want to keep it as a Flaw.
  12. Is the source for his Regeneration supposed to be daylight, or daytime? That is an important difference.
  13. Good news, everyone! A&E has secured the rights to Farscape, and will release a complete series edition on DVD & Blu-Ray in November!

  15. Uhh... you guys doing anything with this?
  16. Vestige & Scarab both also realize the courier just has psoriasis.
  17. I see nothing there indicating why you did not attempt to re-send it to Avenger.
  18. Actually, Knievel knows exactly what it is: a nasty flare up of psoriasis. Nothing more. If Knievel'd failed, he may've assumed the courier is a Mutant freak. (Also, untrained Knowledge checks can be attempted if the DC is 15 or lower, not 10 or lower.)
  19. Scarab got 30 Vestige got 23 Knievel got 20 Malice has 14 Dark Star has 13 Ace Danger got 8 This works rather well. There were two DCs, 10 and 20. Everyone except Ace got the first. Knievel, Vestige and Scarab (even with a penalty for seeing through a TV which didn't give as good a view as if she'd been present) hit the second The event happens when Scarab first looks at the courtroom on the tv, before she activates her Precognition. Knievel, Vestige and Scarab may attempt Knowledge/Life Science or Medicine rolls.
  20. As the prosecution questions their third witness -- a bicycle courier who'd been present at the destructive Midtown antics Knievel, Malice, and an unidentified Metahuman were involved in -- several people notice something. Dark Star, Malice, Knievel, Vestige, and Scarab all notice that the courier keeps scratching his knees, elbows and ears, and fidgeting as if to scratch his back. Knievel, Vestige and Scarab are in positions such that they notice (well, one camera is in a position such that it allows Scarab to notice) why he's scratching: he has lots of scaly patches on his skin. They're several shades redder than his surrounding skin.
  21. Very sorry, all, I've been painfully swamped at work the past two weeks, and dead tired most nights when I get home. (Honestly, I'm surprised more things didn't slip off my radar!) I shall post something soon, Friday at the latest.
  22. Jos' initiative is... 16. So it looks like Jos/Belphegor Ghost Guard Jos goes first. And since he gets to go before the Guard, he is considered flat-footed. ("At the start of a battle, before you have had a chance to act [specifically, before your first turn in the initiative order], you are flat-footed.") So Guard's effective Defense is 12, and his Toughness is +1 (due to Defense Roll not being factored in when flat-footed). Full round to change. Extra Effort to surge to gain anther standard action. Standard action to Power Attack (-5 attack, +5 damage) with Hellfire (so +2 to hit but effectively Blast 12, DC 27 save). (Why? B/c he's a showoff in combat ) And he almost criticals! 21 to hit. Guard cannot make the save. But he can be knocked back... 5,000 feet. Well, probably not that far. Spend last HP to negate fatigue from Extra Effort. Will post IC tomorrow. Er, later today.
  23. Not really, since you should've sent Avenger that PM. Putting them into one coherent post like that may've helped him see things differently. Particularly your concern with the non-Subtle use of Pomp's Emotion Control.
