Mid-Round 5 Wes is stunned and staggered. His Aura stays up. Huge Blob: misses! Gargantuan Blob: Unconscious (round 1) Initiative -- Name -- Condition 17 -- Wesley -- Bruise x7, staggered, stunned -- 3 HP 15 -- H. Blob -- Undamaged 0 -- G. Blob -- bruised, injured, staggered, disabled, stunned, unconscious Begin round 6. You're free to act, since the stun from last round's now worn off.

Another bruise, stunned, staggered. Aura remains. Gain 2 HPs.

Mid-Round 4 Wes is stunned and cannot act (and gets an HP). His Concentration check to maintain his Aura as a reaction -- which I forgot last round -- passes, so that stays up. Large Blob: hits, and asplodes. Huge Blob: hits, and does not asplode. Gargantuan Blob: hits. And it fails save vs. Knight's Aura by 8, so it's stunned, bruised and injured. But since it started out disabled, and did a strenuous act (and is too stupid to not do that), it's now dying. It needs to immediately make a Fort save (DC 10) or die. It gets a 26/natural 20, so it stabilizes and is unconscious and disabled. Initiative -- Name -- Condition 17 -- Wesley -- Bruise x6*, stunned -- 1 HP 15 -- H. Blob -- Undamaged 0 -- G. Blob -- bruised, injured, staggered, disabled, stunned, unconscious Wes needs to make three Toughness saves -- DC 19, 23, and 27 -- then begin round 5

Wesley is stunned by the blow from the huge blob, and reels form the impact. The blobs continue to try and devour the young man. The large blob lands a solid hit on his right leg, exploding in the process due to contact with Knight's biodisruptive aura. The huge one also lands a solid hit on Wesley's left arm, and barely seems to register his biodisruptive aura. The gargantuan blob flops a good deal of its bulk onto Wesley... and then is very, very still.
-
Mr. Terhune seems honest and forthright, and you sense absolutely nothing off about him. (The DC was 23.)

Mid-Round 3 Wes charges towards the Gargantuan Blob, prepped to dive into it. It fails the Fort save vs. Wes's biodisruptive aura by 14, so it is staggered, disabled and stunned. (It's not being treated as a Minion.) Large Blob: misses Huge Blobs x2: 1 hits, 1 misses. The one which hit asplodes. Gargantuan Blob: stunned, takes no action Initiative -- Name -- Condition 17 -- Wesley -- Bruise x5* -- 0 HP 15 -- H. Blobs x2 -- Undamaged 6 -- L. Blob -- Undamaged 0 -- G. Blob -- staggered, disabled and stunned Wes needs to make a DC 23 Toughness save, then begin round 4

Wes's moves towards the blob, in direct conflicts with the reptile part of his brain that's screaming "run away!!!" He hits a particularly thick section of 'cell wall' and is unable to simply dive in, but his touch does have an effect on the gargantuan thing. It doesn't completely pop, but a large hole does appear in it, and it spills goo all over him. The blobs move closer... SewerBlobMapv7.xls and lash out again with the pseudopods, blindly seeking a meal and not comprehending the danger Wes has posed to their 'siblings'. The smallest one, directly behind him, misses. One of the two 'medium ones on his sides hits, though it explodes into a shower of goo as it lands a solid blow. The gargantuan one wobbles a bit. SewerBlobMapv8.xls

You are in this adventure, y'know. :P
-
That's 5 bruises you have now. Dang. At least you're not stunned, so you can act now!
-
"Oh, goodness me, no!" he laughed, setting his tea down so not to spill it. "I am not advocating ve run dings for de governments! First off, I am far too busy as-is mit mein own vork to even dink about running some big project like dis. As I said earlier, I haff plans to start up a corporation, but does are some years off; running government operations vould be so much more complex." "No, vhat I am saying, vhat I advocate ve do -- at least, at dis point in time -- is to come up mit plans und projects dat can largely be run by de governments demselves. Ve show dem how de procedures vork, show dem how to do dings better dan dey are currently being done, und den step back und let dem go. It vill take some time, ja, und dere likely vill be accidents und miscommunications, und dat is vhere ve vould step in -- to pick dem up vhen dey fall, until dey have a good enough handle on dings to move ahead at a steady pace." "Or, to put it another vay," he paused as a picked up a bright green apple which had caught his eye, "ve continue doing vhat ve haff been doing, but find vays to slowly allow de governments und de... greater mass of people to do dings for demselves, relying less und less on superheroes to solve deir problems. To make de vorld de kind of place vhere are not needed -- at least not in any but de most cataclysmic of situations -- but de are still velcome. Yes, dis vould mean some fairly massive social changes, to make a vorld vhere needs und vants are met, und crime is the least palatable option for anyvon... but I dink it could be done."

No, you do need to be holding it. He's been holding the first device, and I don't see anything stopping him from getting an adequately firm grip on the second device. It's not resisting, and there's no one there slapping his hands away.
-
He did have 3. :? That re-roll for the first save fails by one, so now he's got 4 bruises. That second save passes fine. There's one more save to make, the DC 23 one from the slap of the Huge Blob.
-
"Vell," he said between sips of tea, "I dink you are one de right track right dere: communication. A solid communication infrastructure, such dat efforts for any crises can be coordinated mit maximum efficiency. Recent history has shown how slow certain government agencies can be to react to certain crises, und I dink streamlining und updating de crisis response structures -- for events both natural und dose driven by some type of intelligence -- vould be a noticeable change for de better."

Mid-Round 2 Wes is stunned, no actions. All remaining blobs attack. Large Blobs x3: 2 hit, 1 miss. The two which hit asplode. Huge Blobs x2: 1 hits, 1 misses. The one which hit him does not asplode! Gargantuan Blob: misses Initiative -- Name -- Condition 17 -- Wesley -- Bruise x3* -- 1 HP 15 -- H. Blobs x2 -- Undamaged 6 -- L. Blob -- Undamaged 0 -- G. Blob -- Undamaged Wes needs to make two DC 19 Toughness saves, and a DC 23 Toughness save, then begin round 3.

The final large blob, straggling a bit, rushes in towards the (tasty) Wesley. SewerBlobMapv5.xls Once again they all lash out with hideous pseudopods. The two large ones behind and to his sides make solid contact, but their hideous, slimy 'flesh' dissolves away almost as soon as they touch Wesley's aura. One of the two huge ones also lands a bone-jarring blow, and it is evidently made of stronger stuff because it does not show even the slightest discomfort when it contacts Wesley's aura! SewerBlobMapv6.xls

What would you like to do? The Refs aren't mind readers. We need y'all to give us ideas as to what you want you characters to do.
-
Wes takes a bruise, and is stunned. He also gains an HP for the setback.
-
Wesley charges through one of the large blobs, trying to reach the Big Momma. Its viscous form proves far thicker than he'd anticipated, and he gets stuck halfway through... but in the short time he was in it, his bio disruptive aura destroyed it! One of the two huge blobs, and three of the large blobs, move to encircle Knight. SewerBlobMapv3.xls They all lash out with hideous pseudopods... but only one, the large one behind him & to his left (which caught him a bit off since he was sure it was going straight for Mashin-Kun) lands a blow. Even as the shock of the blow registers in Knight, his own biodisruptive aura lashes out and destroys it! SewerBlobMapv4.xls

Mid-Round 1 Wes kills one Large Blob. 3 Large Blobs, the 2 Huge Blobs, and the 1 Gargantuan Blob all attack. Large Blobs x3: One hits. That one asplodes. Huge Blobs x2: both miss! Gargantuan Blob: Also misses! Initiative -- Name -- Condition 17 -- Wesley -- Bruise x2* -- 0 HP 15 -- H. Blobs x2 -- Undamaged 6 -- L. Blobs x3 -- Undamaged 0 -- G. Blob -- Undamaged * Wes needs to make a DC 19 Toughness save, then we start Round 2.

He recently posted in Player Away thread, he's been having some less-than-pleasant medical procedures. He should be back soon.
-
My mother will be having something similar done later his week. Nasty stuff. Take care of yourself first.
-
Yeah, I keep meaning to ask: is Sirius Vulpes really his name, or an alias? Physical Sciences for Sirius, Life Sciences for Vulpes, I'd say. And he fails both, so the Masquerade remains! Hope things go smoothly & that you're back soon!

Melee attack hits the Large Blob. and it gets a 10 on the resisted Str check, so you can continue on! You're ending your move inside it, so you should be treated as grappled. Especially since it has Improved Grab. Fort save vs. Strike 7 Alt Save/Fort Aura (DC 22) (1d20+2=6) It asplodes. One Large Blob down. Lots more to go.

"Vould you also recommend a silver blade mit vhich to excise de sample? I'm sure I could find something here vhich vould do." Victoria clicked off the silence field around them as she walked over to one of the chemical workstations and whipped up a small batch of silver plating solution to coat some slide plates. "You vill need to show me some skin, too," Gecko & Wesley heard, "since taking a sample of your leather outfit will be of little help." Victoria paused suddenly, then her eyes grew wide. "Ha! Actually, a sample of your leather outfit could be of great help!"

Tabitha Connely and Ember Paw, with Jos Terhune and Cyber-Goons watching on. "Smart lad," she said with a delectable smile. She cracked her whip before him, and a portal opened, headed back the way they came. "C'mon, let's see your master." After a few jaunts -- Ember Paw could swear those portals smelled like sulfur, b.k.a. brimstone -- Ember and the woman were back at the building with Jos and the Cyber-Goons. Two of the goons stepped forward and aimed guns at the werefox. Ha, she caught the Pup! I'm rather glad of that, too, now I can talk to him. "Easy, boys, easy," Jos said, motioning for them to lower their weapons, "let us hear him out first." "You know dis guy?" one of the goos asked, still keeping his gun trained on Ember. "Not yet, but I have a feeling I will soon. I presume he can talk," he turned to Lady Iniquity, "otherwise you would not have brought him here while conscious." "You presume correctly," she replied, "though he also says he works for you." Jos turned back to Ember Paw, "is that so? I unaware I had a... werefox in my employ."
