It works exactly as logistically as Attractive. I'm disinclined to change that. If you want his appearance to not be that great a factor, just drop Attractive and buy more ranks in the skills.

The purpose of that Obscure was so that Gecko & Wes cannot hear what Avenger or Doc have been saying. Which is why I kept saying "you two hear nothing." I'm firmly ion the camp that any skill bonus from Wealth should be treated as actual ranks (and subject to PL caps), just like Attractive.

Hunh, I somehow never noticed that feat in the book before. Cool. Is the Stun something he should be able to do in the heat of combat? (I'm not outright saying he cannot have it, I'm just asking for a bit more thinking-through of it, as I did with Mind Control. It seems to me like your going for a Shadow-type character.)

I think they're talking three ranks total, MBCE. So one rank of Wealth 1 is Wealthy, Wealth 2 is Loaded, Wealth 3 is Just Silly. (Yes, it means some characters may need to be edited, but it's not like we've never done that before ) Could do the bonus like Attractive: each ranks gives a +4 bonus to two skills, but only in cases where wealth would help. Diplomacy (i.e., bribery) should be one. Or, a +2/rank to Diplomacy/bribery and a +1/rank to the other Interaction skills (Bluff and Intimidate).

Skill Mastery just means you can Take 10, but there are penalties for some uses of interaction skills in combat (and some cannot be used in combat because they take too long). But are Jedi Mind Tricks used that often in combat? Also, for the Distract feat you have listed, do you mean Fascinate?

Police Officers have +3 base Attack. (Soldiers have +4, SWAT Officers have +6.) If he's not really a fighter, you could go a point of two under on his PL caps for combat stuff. Especially if he's a face/infiltrator. Jack of All Trades (and the feats/skills I mentioned earlier) sound exactly like what you'd want for "Well-Traveled." Yes, please edit the original post to show any changes. "Wicked left cross" could just as easily be a combo of Power Attack and Sneak Attack. I'm still not seeing how training alone (and not, say, training + semi-latent telekinesis) can let his punches do as much damage as if he were wielding a greataxe. "Unlocked psionic potential" is a fine descriptor for those "Jedi mind tricks." However, have you considered just using skills & feats for those? Very high Interaction skills can be almost as Mind Control. Oh, I meant to ask, how old does he look? I'm guessing he doesn't look like a typical 84 year old man.

Background and other fluff look mostly good. The very low base attack/ranged attack (should he really be less proficient with firearms than an average police officer?) I'm a bit leery of. I'm even more leery of the very low base defense + high Dodge Focus + Uncanny Dodge. As I'm sure you're aware, we're working on re-doing the Wealth rules, so you may be able to save some points there. What Benefit do you expect from "Well-Traveled"? I'd think Connected, Contacts, and Well-Informed (plus a good Diplomacy and Gather Information bonus) would be sufficient. What sort of Equipment does he have? Why is his Strike Innate? Innate is typically for powers that are some inherent, natural part of the character, like an elephant's Growth. Also, how is it they strike as hard as greataxes? A rank or two in Strike I can easily see as being from Training, but 4 ranks seems a bit high to me. So the Mind Control is that he just talks them into doing what he wants, and the Stun is that he talks them to sleep (backed by psionic power)?

I don't make 20 lengthy posts a day like you do because my job that prevents me from doing so, and I have two very ill family members (a godmother/aunt and a wife) whom I spend time caring for and worry about, and I'm trying to write more (see the link in my .sig). Before you complain about people not posting enough for you, you might want to consider why they're not as prolific as you instead of assuming it's some personal slight. Almost every bit of that paragraph is untrue. Dr. Archeville the character doesn't like Hellbound b/c he is, deep down, an intellectual snob and has seen Hellbound as nothing but a musclebound thug, an easily-moved pawn on the battlefield. His opinion was starting to change during the "Placement Test." Dr. Archeville the poster thinks the character is so-so, but that's mainly because I don't care much for Lobo/Wolverine-type brawlers. You haven't been cut from every Genderswitch, no more than Wesley Knight was. True, no one replied to Hellbound's most recent idea, but that's b/c we all thought you'd left and were never going to come back, so there was really no need to. Ditto on our "Placement Test," you gave every indication you'd left for good so I saw no reason not to close that thread. Your two Mutant Mafia NPCs were archived, not deleted. They're in the archived character forum, along with every other never-approved character.
