How's it done in Champions, which has separate things for Wealth and for Equipment?

Yes (though I'd be leery of the Healing in either case).

Because A) it's not a new direction, it's the same direction your other character is headed in, adding a new char sheet -- which is what Metamorph does -- would require that sheet to be as throughly approved as any other PC, so it's a change that will take a lot of time, and C) it goes against lots of things you were talking about in the approval thread for Prodigy: how her shtick is her intelligence, how you like doing different characters and don't like overused ideas, and how you have a lot of ideas of where to take this character and how to RP her.

The main problem, is, as I said, you're trying to turn Prodigy into Prodigy/Jen'La. I do not understand the "needs something more to stimulate her RPing" -- Prodigy seems to me to be more stimulating than Jen'La.

Incorrect -- you need Affects Others, since Force Field is a Personal effect. And if you want to be able to affect someone else who's not touching you, you need Affects Others + Range. If it's Affect Others (Others Only, a +0 Extra), yes. If it's Affects Others (Self + Others, a +1 Extra), no. Still needs Affects Others.
