Dr Archeville

I'm still curious about the "Detect Injury" power -- is it just to detect the Injured condition (which can only be caused by lethal damage), or any type of damage (Bruised, Injured, etc.)? A suggestion, for sake of easy record keeping, would be to mark down what his Bloodrage Boosted stats are: * Str 26/+8, Damage +12 Strike, Con 30/+10, Toughness +12, Attack +11 melee, Defense +11 in round 1; * Str 25/+7, Damage +11 Strike, Con 29/+9, Toughness +11, Attack +10 melee, Defense +10 in round 2; * Str 24/+7, Damage +11 Strike, Con 28/+9, Toughness +11, Attack +10 melee, Defense +10 in round 3; * and Str 23/+6, Damage +10 Strike, Con 27/+8, Toughness +10, Attack +9 melee, Defense +9 in round 4 I would also suggest that, rather than re-posting a new set of stat blocks, you go back and edit the initial post, so that when this character thread is fully approved and moved people will be able to easily find the actual approved character.

[[ 19, eh? That works perfectly! ]] As Catherine's mind races back through the corridors of time, her mind's eye sees nothing but blue light at first. Slowly the light fades so it is but a border around her vision, and she sees the same spot in the park, but many hours earlier. The sun is high in the sky and shining bright, though the absence of any sound adds an eeriness to the scene. Catherine soon sees a woman jogging by, and though the vision was not as clear as she would have liked, the street-smart sorceress could tell it was Alex McGee. The young blonde coed seemed to be enjoying a routine jog (though how anyone could enjoy running was lost on the donut-loving occultist), and so entranced by the endorphins of her run and the music blaring through her iPod that she did not notice the five small forms approaching her. They were the rough size of large dogs, or perhaps a pre-teen child, though the vision did not reveal anything beyond the rough size and the creatures dark green coloration which blended well with the abundant foliage of the park. The creatures soon swarmed and were on her, bringing her down by their sheer weight, and though Catherine heard no scream she could see the jogger's face twisted in agony. The silent mauling continued as the things wriggled and squirmed over her body, leaving trials of a glistening slime behind them. Here and there she could see between the creatures and to the burned flesh and exposed bone of the victim as they devoured her. Though the creatures were far from done with their meal, the vision closed, and Catherine's mind reeled back through the red-limned corridors of time to the present. MarkK, do you want any mention of the "We Are Legion" story Cosmicarus was running for us be made (as if it'd been completed some weeks ago; "I see that black eye healed nicely," "How's Valencia doing?"), or just ignore it?

Doktor Archeville had heard of the open invite via the soc.superhuman.hero usenet, and almost immediately decided to go. No better way to introduce myself to both the newcomers and the ones who've been at this for some time. And make no mistake, I am a newcomer here, even though I've been operating on my own for some years back home -- there are different cultural and social factors here, and I don't have the same level of contacts, so some things I'll have to re-learn and re-establish. What he did debate on, though, was how to enter. Walk right up? Too mundane. Fly in? Straightforward, certainly, but again too 'vanilla.' Fly in cloaked and invisible? Unusual, certainly, but possibly too startling, and it might send wrong first impressions. Hijack the internal video feeds to show my face on all the monitors and introduce myself through all their intercoms? Again, wrong first impressions.... Which is how Archeville found himself flying from his new home in Hanover to Freedom Hall in the City Center. The place impressed the German engineer & scientist: Daedalus' design was elegant in it's simplicity, though he was a tad surprised at the Mesopotamian ziggurat-like form, given the architect's apparent Balkan heritage. He'd taken the tour of the ground floor back when he was a college student at HIT, back in 1999, and was impressed then, but had not been back since it had been destroyed and rebuilt back in 2001. The current version was even more elegant and awesome, and Archeville paused now and again as he floated his way to the sub-sub-level "wreck room" to jot a few notes down on his notepad. He was busy scrawling a note even as he floated into the "wreck room" where a few of the others were already gathered.

The dripping sound Nightshyft heard started the same round as Catherine's ritual; unless she stops or he makes her stop she'll be murmuring and drawing circles in the dirt for four rounds. It is currently the second round of her ritual (I'm keeping round-by-round track of things for now since there is a time constraint, due to the ritual being done). Would he try and stop her after a round or two? Would she let him stop her?

Arrays in Containers are certainly allowed: the sample Battlesuit Archetype has an array (the Blast/Enhanced Strength) in his Container (his hard to lose Device). The Archetype Gadgeteer has an array (Blast/Dazzle) in her Container (easy to lose blaster), too.
