Done by AA And here's a much simpler edit for Protectron: put his 6PP into his Enhanced Strength. (The better to carry fruit baskets with!) And contribute 5 EP (Veteran Player Reward) to The Lab.
-
Done BY AA 9PP for Dead Head Realize I'm 1PP over (spent on an AP for his Necromancy he doesn't actually have), now 10PP. Drop Equipment. 11PP to spend. Use a Veteran Player Award for Equipment 2 (5 EP for Shovel, 5 EP to Parkhurst) [0PP, 10 remain] Move Contacts, Jack of all Trades, and Well-Informed out from powers and into Feats proper section. [0PP, 11 remain] Skills: +24 ranks [-6PP; 5 left] +14r Gather Information, +2r Know/Life Science, +8r Notice Feats: Luck [-1PP, 4 left] Necromancy: Increase ranks, add some APs [-3PP; 1 left] Add Super-Senses (Communication Link, with Mutt) [-1PP; 0 left] Mutt: Drop 'base' Attack 2 points [+4PP] and Duration [Continuous] from Insubstantial [+4PP], frees 8PP. Add 2 ranks Attack Focus (Melee) [-2PP], Super-Movement 2 (any mystical) [-4PP], add Super-Senses 1 (Communication Link w/ Dead Head) [-1PP]. 1PP unspent. Finally, put this all in the top post of the char sheet thread, as I no longer need that older sheet.

Dead Head finished his walk around the bedroom, then came back to the living room. He glanced about again, sniffed, shook his head, and looked back to the other two mystics. "I ain't pickin' up no spooks, neither; either 'e's passed on... or was taken. Which could fit a bokor's MO; they usually enslave a person's spirit t'control they body, but sometimes they jes' take a spirit an' use it fer mischief." He sniffed again, and made a motion with his right hand as if siting something through his fingers; the sensations were purely mental, but presentation was important in the line of work he'd fallen into. "Y'all sense that? Like dirt, soil, faint but... but there, right at th'edge." He suspected Nick's necro-senses, and Equinox's elemental magics, would allow both to pick up on what he was sensing. "Like freshly tilled earth... or a freshly-dug grave. Definitely a sign of the Ghede."

Not yet, but I plan to eventually; I picture he was, in his prime, much like the Golden Age Doctor Mid-Nite. Definitely not a Minion for DH, a Contact at best.

We don't have any rules per se on that, and plenty of folks have No Action Regen for Bruised, so that'd certainly be no problem. Were you thinking of more?

I did a quick skim-over, fixed a few coding errors in the sheet. Also noted that her Sonar Glasses were overpaid: Sonar (Accurate ultra-Hearing) is Acute & Radius by default, so you don't need to pay for them again. Progression (Area) is not a valid power feat for Obscure -- its size is determined by its rank, in fact the size is the only thing Obscure's rank does. If you want a bigger area of effect, you'll need to buy more ranks. Are the Binoculars, Grappling Hook Gun, Lock Release Gun, Smoke Grenades, and Stun Gun all separate 'slots' in her Utility Belt array? Since Binoculars & the Lock Release Gun are 1pp -- actually, I'd say Binoculars would fall under the "free equipment" thing -- you're not saving any points by having them by in her Array.

"Too much time has passed already," he exclaimed as he continued making connections and taking readings, "so the sooner we leave, the better!" Is that all she is bringing? Well, I suppose she does not have as much pocket space as I do. He was about to comment on her choice of luggage, when he was struck by her next words. Thanks to his restored/rebooted/revamped brain, though, his maudlin thoughts passed almost too quickly to notice, and his reply came back almost immediately. "Not many, and though who could are engaged elsewhere. As... cherished and loved by so many as Mona was, her rescue has not appeared to be a top priority among others. Though I suspect that some of my... allies are holding back because they know I would want to handle this myself, since it was the usurpation of my company and resources by that alien, and its infestation of me, that lead to her loss. I caused her loss, and I am going to bring her back!" At his last words he practically slammed his Screwdriver into the final connection on Wells's machine, slotting it next to the slender crystalline control rod at the "driver's seat." The strange vehicle began to hum and glow, and the great disc behind it began to slowly spin.

Protecton's headless body waded through the piles of smaller steam-bots towards one of the larger ones bearing towards Caradoc. Once near, he crouched and crab-walked a few steps towards the large mechanoid, lashing out with one of its super-alloy legs between the cruder limbs of the large 'bot, in an attempt to send it toppling. Meanwhile, Protectron's head flew right towards the mysterious controller as he was drawing a bead on its ally. "Friend-Ironclad, look out!," it yelled as the flying head rammed into the unknown villain.

"Ain't so sure 'bout that, Jake," he said as he clambered out. "When I saw that German fella last year, 'e said I weren't no more contagious than any other person. That whatever it was what slowed my decomposition slowed the growth of them little bugs," he said, shrugging. "As fer what's goin' on here," he pointed up to the ceiling, "seems Doc Gorsky's been meddlin' with things he ain't s'posed t'meddle with. Specifically, dead things, an' undead things. Looked like he'd raised Cartwirght," he gestured to the drawer Agopsowicz assumed the late cardiologist had lain in, "as a serviteur, an errand-zombie, t'fetch folks with hopeless cases medical science couldn't cure. Gorsky was talkin' with a couple 'bout their sick daughter, I think he was gonna turn her into... into somethin'. I spooked 'em all, though I think the fella might have gotten a slight concussion on his way down." "What I's worried 'bout now, though," he said, stretching and popping and unpopping joints in ways no living person could do (at least, not without copious amounts of morphine), "is figurin' out where Gorsky learned his mojo, confiscatin' any books an' ritual tools 'e's got. An' puttin' Cartwright to a proper rest."

It's been almost a month since AA's first comments. You still working on this guy?

So Protectron'll donate 5EP to the Lab, covering the loss of Gossamer. Do we want to add more stuff (like SC's suggestions)?

Self-Repairing (from Book of Magic) is a shoe-in, what with having one construction worker ghost (Joe Delmundio). (Though I see there's an Affects Objects Regeneration already there.) Increasing the HQ's Toughness (ectoplasmic reinforcement), or even adding Impervious Toughness, would not be out of place for a haunted house. Super-Movement Portal to the Astral Plane? Super-Senses? Maybe not new ones, but enhancements to existing ones. Extended for Mental Senses, so Dead Head & Nick & Rene can use their Mental senses at far ranges (like how Cerebro enhances/extends Xavier's Detect Mutants super-sense).

Mutt's KO'd, so he's sleepin' it off. DH is listed as Dead Head: 11, Unharmed, 0 HP But since he interposed on Equinox's behalf against Hecatonchire #2 (last round), he was Dazed (Hecatonchire 2's Action), Staggered, Disabled, 0 HP Disabled: take a standard or move action, but if strenuous (attack, standard-action power), becomes dying Staggered: can take a standard or a move action Phantom didn't heal him, did she? It looks like she'd tried blasting the Hecatonchire again. If he is Dazed/Staggered/Disabled (which he should be, I believe), he can't do anything, b/c he doesn't have an HP to break the Dazed. (Actually, check my latest RefCave post re: this.)

Dazzle is Ranged by default. Did you want it to be Perception range? -

For his Area Blast (Plasmaball?), do the Progression power feats apply to the range of the Blast, or the size of the Area? -
Sorry, guys, didn't realize I was holding this up! Looks like we've got a small problem, though: by the RAW, I don't think you can use an HP to clear a Dazed condition, so there's nothing Protectron can do. (I've brought this up in the RefCave.)
