    Y2K Bug (OOC)

*gives chase* With a running start, and untransformed, Samael can make a running jump of 36 feet, so slightly beyond that of a normal move action.

    Y2K Bug (IC)

Samael is taken aback by the creature disappearing into nothingness. This may very well be out of his element. Due to his distraction, the dozen or so critters scramble past him, unimpeeded and begin tearing up the mall. Hoping to prevent further damage, Samael takes off after the gremlins. Once he gets a running start, he makes a few leaps that are a bit beyond human ability, as he furiously tries to close the gap between him and the fleeing creatures, making a B-line for the cloest gremlin.
  3. You'll find that most normal people seem to have temporary blindness when it comes to any information that may harm their potential rescuers. No HP necessary. Also, what power did you use just then?

    Y2K Bug (OOC)

Ooooohhhh. I misunderstood what was going on. Blame the weird set-up of my local mall. Are there anymore gremlins I could reach and attack this round, or should I be more concerned with chasing after them right now?
  5. Welcome to the boards. Lets see if we get iron out some details on this guy, shall we? The first major problem is that you don't have the proper formating. Like bolding powers and section heads. It just makes everything else much easier to read. Look at one of my characters (located in my signature) for an example of what I mean. I'm a stickler for formatting. Stats, good. Combat, there are several errors here. 1) His Melee attack bonus should be +11, not +10. 2) His grapple modifer is +16 3) His defense line should read: +5 (+2 Flat Footed) [base Defense +4] 4) His knockback modifier is: -0/-12 with powers active Saves: You need to dentote the bonuses (or penalities) you have for abilities scores in your Toughness and Fortitude saves, and your force Field for Toughness. Also, I find it very hard to believe that a highly trained martial artist doesn't have a single rank in Reflex Defense. Skills, I'm counting 48 ranks spent (which costs 12 points). Feats, the numbers work out, though I am curious as to why someone who has so little skills trained has Jack of all Trades. Powers: Full Round action is not a proper flaw a power with a sustained duration, and especially one with aura. You take a full round action at the begining of combat and now you are coated in a more powerful version of corrosion for the remainder of combat. I think not. The Mask sounds like something that may need the Restricted power feat. Also, denote that the Subtle power feat on Obscure only effects those outside the area of effect, just for quick reference's sake. But other than that, you just need to spend those last 2 points. And once again for emphasis: formatting is your friend.
  6. Yeah Sand's made him an NPC for now. For the time being I'll just write him out. The BBEG's attack was super-powerful and he got blasted really far away. That way, if Sand un-NPC's him before the thread is over, he can make his dramatic return in time to save the day. Also, Heritage is having some computer trouble. but they just went, so we can get some play time while they get everything straightened out. So yeah, Wesley got blown away, meaning if my memory still works, it is now Boomer's turn.
  7. We're just glad you're back. And what a welcome return it is.
  8. "Okay, but be quick. We don't want them to get ahead. And I can't stay like this too long." Not one for elaboration, Atlas leapt up onto one of the nearby buildings in the general direction of where the thugs were last headed. He did the occasional leap after the thugs when they got too far away, using a bird's eye view to find them again before he landed.

    Y2K Bug (OOC)

Because of his Leaping 1 in normal human form, would Samael take any damage from following the gremlins out into the mall through the window?
  10. "Yeah, we're going to take it all nice and easy like to our next destination. That last particular venture wasn't too fun. When you get in the chamber, push the green button. It should end automatically, if it doesn't, push the red button. If that doesn't work... well, I hope you're not claustrophobic. I'm going to see if I can get all the dents out of the armor first, and then replenish the ammo supply." Malice set to work on his repairs, which took a bit longer than they normally would because he was feeling so stiff.

  12. Alright, let's get this party started. Y2K Bug (IC)

Now that the creatures have made their presence known, Samael isn't too concerned with keeping his identity, flimsy as it was now and days. He didn't turn into the monster yet, not until the ring leader showed their face. That and right now, it looked like he would need to be as agile as possible in order to catch these buggers. Samael runs after the closest one and swats it with his palm like he's killing bugs. Lack of finesse aside it gets the job done.
  14. "Awwwww? Do we have to? I'm pretty sure there's a few orifices left that don't have shards of glass rammed into them." But in all seriousness, Malice and Knievel wisely beat feet with the crystal. When they got back on the ship it was Malice's turn to collapse. He pushed a few buttons on his suit and the ship gently lifted off and left the atmosphere. Malice went down the corridor, and took off his suit as the ship silently went through space. He looked... weak without his suit on. Sometimes you forget that he's just a normal Joe under all that armor.
  15. I take offense to that remark As soon as Malice gets out of limbo, put him down for the time being.
  16. If there was ever something you didn't need to tell Malice twice, it was to shoot something. Especially shooting at a target that was close to wherever Knievel was standing, or swimming in this case. Luckily for Knievel Malice's aim was still pretty good as he introduced more iron into this creature's diet.

    Y2K Bug (OOC)

One Initiative coming right up. Initiative vs Gremlin (1d20+0=10) Heh.
  18. "Okay, enough screwing around. Everything needs to die." Malice's external armor unfolds and without his jet boosters supporting him, he sinks like a rock. He plants himself at the bottom of the alcove and just unloads a barrage of metal at the missile - using creature. Hopefully, enough to kill it outright.
  19. Going to go into Ground-Pounder mode here and sink to the bottom of the little pool here because I have no proper means of locomotion. Then I'll unload on them. url=http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2242198/]2nd Amend vs Missile crystal creature - AoA/PA 5 DC 32 toughness, autofire (1d20+10=23) I really need to look up some synonyms for the phrase "shoot in the face".
  20. Malice wasn't quite faring to well. The last two attacks rattled him quite a bit. For a few moments there, Malice had no idea where he was. If this kept up, Malice's armor wouldn't be enough to keep this "water" out. If it got in, it would in all likely hood, kill him instantly from the shock alone.
  21. Toughness save DC 25 (1d20+13=19) Toughness save DC 25 (1d20+12=18) Two more bruises and a stunned for me then. Note to self, switch to ground-pounder form.
  22. Surprisingly, I can't find any errors this time. Approved.
  23. Alrighty, lets see if we can get Grim 2.0 out on the streets. Abilities, good. Combat, good. Saving throws, good. Skills, good. Feats, good. Powers, good. Drawbacks, good. Well that was easy. Approved.
  24. How many? Just 2 right?
  25. Oh right, I have points to spend this time. Forgot I could do that. Doing to do a minor "overhaul" to Atlas. First, turn the Leaping 3 inside of his Alternate Form into a Dynamic Alternate power of Super-Strength, making Super-Strength Dynamic in the process. No net point change. Next, move 2 points of Enhanced Strength from inside the Alternate Form to outside. This will in effect cost 2 points. Then covert the Enhanced Strength 4 and Enhanced Constitution 4 outside of the form into points in Str and Con, which will bump his normal values up to 28 a piece. This will result in having 40 points in Stats and 69 in Powers. Finally, fill that 2 point "gap" in Alternate Form with Regeneration 20 PF: Persistent, Regrowth. The damage conditions are to be filled in this order (Bruised, Injured, Staggered, Disabled, Bruised, Injured...) This is all just due to Altas's transformation changing and becoming more integrated into what he is. Also, this: Needs to take up residency on Malice's sheet.
