GM POST Suddenly, Captain and Ronin find the room to be far more spacious as the Cannon cuts through pretty much everything in it's path like a hot knife through butter. The only part of the scientists left is their shoes, and some rather nasty looking socks.

Detonate the Rocket when it is 120ft away.
-
There is a familiar and very satisfying click on Rocket's left arm this time. "Good. No understanding of tactics... yet." Rocket let another... rocket fly. This one going just a bit past the largest blob before detonating.
-
Using the huge blob as a center point, I change my position by 180 degrees. Fast characters are fun to play :D
-
Rocket plants his feet back on terra firma, pulls back and decks the damaged blob creature with a right cross. "They're getting stronger over here. If I'm going to win this, I can't just being going through the motions. Let's see how they adapt." Rocket blasts off again, this time taking a wide circular path that puts him about 100 feet behind the massive blob creature. He would polish off the stragglers first and then get the forerunners while they charged at him.
-
Reacting quickly, RRG quickly spun in the air to get the enzymes off of him before they could do serious damage. Rocket also used the momentum of the spin to deliver a heavy kick to the offending blob monster. Rocket then wisely decided to put another hundred feet between him and the nearest blob monster until he could figure out whether or not his armor had been completely compromised.

Toughness save vs Blob Critical DC 25 (1d20+12=29)
-
Explosion 10 centered on he big guy.
-
RRG got on the radio. "Ran into like 50 of them. This is gonna get ugly!" RRG stopped flying and planted his feet. The weapon system on his right arm came to life. There was no avoiding property damage this time. The creatures needed to be stopped right here and now. His signature weapon clicked into place, the Freedom Rocket. With a FWOOMP the rocket raced towards its target, the giant blob in the center, trailing white and blue smoke behind it. It detonated in the center of their formation with a massive THUD. Hopefully that had taken out most of them.

:o  Big Battle Initiative (1d20+1=11)
-
"Thank god!" breathed RRG as he observed the gap between him and the creature. It was a very good feeling being faster than his opponents. It had gotten him through a great number of battles and hope it would serve him well through the challenges to come. RRG changed course and barreled at the creature, its purpose now served. RRG blasted the creature as soon as he got within firing range, and continued on his course towards the source of this mayhem, doing his best to keep an eye on the tree tops.
-
Power Attack 2 on Strength damage, taking a 10. Move 200ft back from the creature.
-
"&*#%!!! They're fast!" cried the surprised RRG. He regained his composure somewhat when the creatures against couldn't get through his armor, but their moanings drained what little color he had left in his face. He had seen too many bad zombie movies to know that when the mindless horde started talking about flesh, it was never, ever a good sign. RRG tore off the creature that had previously latched onto him. He then called out over the radio "I don't know how better to explain it. These blob creatures are like fast moving zombies. Keep your distance at all costs!" RRG took his own advice and backed up rapidly from the remaining creature, if for no other reason than to see how fast they truly were.

Blast them then use Move-by Action to move about 50ft back from where the creatures were. And I'm milking Extended Vision to keep tabs on them from a safe distance.
-
"My god! If these creatures were set loose on the city, the destruction they would reek!" If their size was any indication, these creatures would by much stronger than their predecesors, so RRG decided to play it carefully. He kept his distance and blasted one of the creatures before using his superior (he hoped!) speed to his advantage and got well out of harms way, using the zoom on his visor to keep on the creatures.

But I figured Shaen needed a new toy to play with  Really focused on the skills in this build. As you'll notice, he's near god-like in several areas. Especially with the Datalink/Quickness Complimentary System. And speaking of, yes there are 3 arrays in the Battle suit. The powers outside the Battlesuit are more and less the bread and butter. Just the armor, and the life support. The arrays answer the 3 questions of a character. 1) How do I blow things up? 2) How do I get around town? and 3) What other bells and whistles do I have? I really quite like this version of the battle suit. The saves are also far superior in this build than they were in the previous version. The drawbacks. All of the drawbacks actually revolve around the arm. The disability got lowered because it wasn't as big a deal when he could just get in the suit. The suit has a fully robotic arm integrated into the chassis. But, it now takes longer to sync up. The electical vulnerability results from the metal socket Malice has in his shoulder where the suit's arm plugs into. He didn't make an arm for himself because he wanted to remind himself of the price of failure. With his Afterburners and Flight system both operational, Malice has a total of Flight 13 or 100,000mph. Plenty to leave all but even the fastest of speedsters in the dust. Also, with his high Consitution, he can move All Out for a bare minimum of 38 rounds in a row, or just shy of 4 minutes. He has a basic movement speed of 1,000,000 feet per round. Moving all out quardruples that to 4,000,000 feet per round, or about 800 miles. That's twice the width of the Atlantic Ocean. The circumference of the earth is about 40,000km or 25,000 miles. So after 32 rounds in, Malice has circled the Earth, and is not tired. At his maximum, Malice has an effective Strength score of 112. Which is just enough to pick up an aircraft carrier, which is just under his maximum load. He can't do squat other than pick it up though.

"Blegghh. That was just about the most disgusting thing I've ever done. Thank you face mask, whatever would I do without you?" After spending a moment to shake some of the slime off of his arms, RRG gets back on the horn. "Okay, 3 more of those critters down, making that 4 so far. They're pretty much blobs of stomach acid, I highly recommend keeping your distance and engaging at range, if at all. I believe I'm getting closer to their main spawning point. Here's hoping there's not as many of them as I think there are. Rocket out." With that RRG continued his journey northwest, hoping to find the epicenter of this madness.
-
RRG holds his hand up in front of his face, and the energy concentrates in the palm. Then RRG remembers the situation "Wait! Bad idea is bad." RRG then has the smarter idea of attempting to tear the thing off his face, and then apart.
-
"Okay, play time's over, get off of me." RRG blast the creature on his left shoulder with the palm plasma blast. He takes a moment to enjoy the smell of ozone in the air, the smell of science.
-
"Under attack by the creatures. Engaging now." Under normal circumstances, RRG would have launched a rocket and be done with it, but a blase here would destroy far too many trees. He wanted to keep the collateral damage to a minimum. He performed a quick barrel roll so that he was flying on his back and let one of the creatures taste plasma.

Initiative (1d20+1=20) This is bad, I don't want to use all my good rolls before combat even starts. Alrighty Doc, set the scene.

Notice Check - requested (1d20+8=28)

RRG gets on his radio as he continues going towards the epicenter of this event, relating some information to the police. "It appears as if the creatures are coming from the northwest. If the number of these slimy patches is any indication, there are loads of these creatures. I'll continue to search to see if I can uncover anything else. Also I'm noticing a lack of normal animals about. I think they may have been attacked as well, or wisely cleared out. Rocket out."
