I thought he failed by 15+ and immediately skipped all that mess and went right to unconscious. Let's see: Got shot by Arrowhawk viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2067&start=240#p44889 and took a bruised then Scarab scrambled his brains: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2067&start=240#p44899 failed by 16 and immediately fell unconscious. Looks to me like he skipped over all that mess. and fared well against the explosion viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2067&start=250#p44903

Okay, quick retooling for Malice. Drop the 2 ranks in Gather Information, and get the Feat "Online Research" (lets you use Computers instead of Gather Info). This nets Malice 1 more point, giving him 9 unspent. Done by Sandman XI

The only "comic book" I've read in about the past... ever, is Watchmen, Planetary and Walking Dead. Not only have I never read a mainstream DC or Marvel comic, I've never held one in my hands. All my comic book knowledge comes from wiki and ATT.

That and blood's icky.

Hrmm. Not sure what I think about Hulk being able to form sentences. I don't exactly have high hopes for this, but I could be mistaken. I thought Hulk vs Wolverine was going to be terrible, but it turned out decent, but that's mostly due to Deadpool.

Dammit man quit giving him Hero Points! Step 1 of the Plan was to murder Scarab ASAP; you're making that very difficult. :shame: And yes, unless I very specifically state otherwise, Malice does non-lethal damage. He's got standards you know.

On Malice's turn I All out Attacked 5, and Power Attacked 5, and took a 10 on my attack rolls. Used Indirect 3 and the 15,000ft cubic area of the Liberation Cannon to hit everything simultaneously. New round. The guards will act on this round. 47 -- Vestige -- Unharmed -- VP x1 29 -- Captain Knievel -- Unharmed -- VP x3 23 -- Ronin -- Unharmed -- VP x1 18 -- Belphegor -- Unharmed -- VP x0 12 -- Troops 1 -- Malice -- Unharmed -- VP x2 Vestige is up.

Now that his team is on the offensive and no major problems have been reported so far, Malice goes on the offensive. He jets to his bunker and lands just outside of it. He arms his Liberation Cannon and floods the bunker with side winder missles. They find their way into every nook and cranny and detonate everywhere. Only one of the guards is left standing. Even the generator is taken out. "Generator 3 down. Beginning clean up before moving onto next objective." Malice announces over the communication link up.

Okay for Bel there are 7 guards in range. Guard 1: Natural 20 on both Reflex and Toughness saves = still alive Guard 2: Pass Reflex, fail Toughness = Out Guard 3: Pass Reflex, fail Toughness = Out Guard 4: Fail Reflex, pass Toughness = Still Alive Guard 5: Fail Reflex, Fail Toughness = Out Guard 6: Fail Reflex, Fail Toughness = Out Guard 7: Fail Reflex, Fail Toughness = Out

GM POST Ronin charges deep into the bunker, leaving the guards above to be torched from Knievel's attack. On the level below, he finds 3 guards struggling to their feet to fend off the attackers. Ronin makes quick work of two of the guards, while the third managed to throw the table in front of him for cover, which prevented the fatal blow. Ronin can hear frantic voices behind a thick metal door along with an electric hum. ---------------- Belphegor's attack is particularly destructive. Five of the guards and the two scientists are wiped out, and there is severe destruction to the bunker itself. Belphegor can see what must be the generator, but he can also see that it it still works.

"Is fine. I learned long ago you Americans are too active. If there isn't a car chase or explosion you think something is wrong." He gave a small chuckle. "I'm Atlas..." he gets off the dumpster and lifts it up with one hand again, standing at full height to address the thugs "And I don't EVER see you again." As the thugs wisely scamper off realizing they are both outnumbered and horribly out gunned, Atlas looks at Breakdown critically for a moment. "You have good heart. But unless you use this..." Atlas taps his temple with his giant hand "...all it is is big target."

Approved.

I'm assuming general area on that doc.
-
I knew that... Post will be up either later on tonight or tomorrow.

A move action has to be used to get within blasting range of the bunkers.
-
Ah, didn't see the Simultaneous extra, my bad. I'm thinking Scarab is gonna go for a little ride. I'll need my VP's for later.

Atlas was quite confused as to how so many people came out of the wood work so fast. Thankfully he managed to wipe the deer in the headlights look off of his face before the place was lit up with the Soulfire. As he is lit up, you realize the "monster" description was pretty close to spot on. He's truly massive, nearly double the height of those gathered here, and at least 3 times as wide. His neck starts and ends at his ears. His body is sculpted as if there is more muscle in his body than it was meant to contain, and as a result all of his veins and tendons look like they're fit to burst. There's a savage beauty about it, like how some people find sharks to be magnificent creatures. Atlas for his part looked a little disappointed by this turn of events. He pushed the dumpster a bit further into the alleyway, and then used it as a chair, which apparently didn't sit well with the thugs still inside of it*. "Where I am from, it is rude to demand that someone introduce themselves without first introducing yourself. The leaping from roof top part is American tradition, I think." the creature adds with a smile. Wait, did the creature have a Russian accent? *Pun intended.

Failed by 4, took a bruise. Beat Scarab's defense by 1, so DC is bumped up to 33. However, there is a minor issue. ESP is supposed to be a little distracting because you're looking at places other than where you're at. But Scarab searched the area (very quickly I might add) and knew I was coming. So I'm not sure if she has her full defense bonus, which would change the DC.

Malice rocketed off back towards the courthouse. As he appeared over the rooftop, he was greeted by a well placed arrow. Malice rolled in midair to avoid what would have been a head shot on a moving target at nearly 30 yards, with a stick thrower. The shot instead bounced off Malice's shoulder, but it did leave a dent. There was only one guy who could pull a shot like that off; Bowman. Scanning the ground noticed that it was Arrowhark and not Bowman. Close enough. mused Malice. Malice also noticed the other hero in the vicinity, Scarab. Thankfully, it appears that a rather large explosion went off and both Scarab and Arrowhawk showed signs of damage. How much he couldn't say for sure, but at least they weren't at full strength. Okay my opponents are a world class telepath and one of the world's foremost marksmen. I need to end this quickly. Malice trained his sights on Scarab, popped a minigun out of his arm, and unloaded on Scarab hoping to take him out before he discovered the depths of his power.
-
And for all anyone knows, Malice just blew up Riverside. (And with all the Villain Points I have knocking about, I can do it again )
-
I believe Malice is up after Ace, correct? If so, then it's time for him to arrive, guns blazing. Which of course it means that Arrowhawk's attack goes off first. So if you could do ahead and roll that so I know if/what I have to save against. Malice's turn in a nut shell: Move Action: Arrive on scene (again) No Action: Get shot at by Arrowhawk Standard Action: (hopefully) Open up on Scarab.

It seemed as if the thugs were the only ones on the street who had no idea what was about to happen. Sometimes, it was just really fun to watch karma work. A guttural growl and the groan of metal was the only warning the thugs got before a large dumpster was slammed over head, much like you would do to a spider with a mug. A single red hand about the size of a man hole cover is gripping the top of the dumpster (technically the bottom of the dumpster because it's upsidedown) with the metal visibly bent around the fingers, apparently from crushing it with super human strength. The grating sound of metal is heard as the dumpster is dragged back into the alleyway, along with the muffled cries of the thugs trapped inside. "You... alright?" growls a voice from within the alleyway. You can see the outline of a behemoth of man in the alleyway. At least 9 feet tall, and if his arm is any indication, jacked beyond all reason.
-
Notice check DC 10 to notice 2 big red eyes approaching from the alleyway, heading towards the thugs.
-
"Eeey, chicha! What's a pretty girl like cho wandering the streets alll alone?" Mongrel Angel has apparently caught the attention of the local community. The three thugs are dressed in regular street clothes but all have some red article of clothing prominently displayed, and the all have several matching tattoos. The speaker is by far the smallest of the group, with the other two looking like dumb muscle. "How's about we take you someplace safe to stay the night? For your own protection."
-
For future reference, how did you pull that one off? I don't see any kill everything in the room sword slashy stuff on the character sheet. Then again, I could be mistaken.
