  1. *shrug* I got distracted by something shiny when I posted RRG and forgot about it till i went to upload them again last night when I realized I had already done it. I don't mind GMing it, but if you want to go right ahead. I was expecting you to start it at least being the villain has the perk of being the catalyst.
  2. Initiative (1d20+0=15) I no has dakka? Well then... the scaly people shall feel the wrath of horribly over budget PL 4 guy! (it's a working title) :D
  3. I got Rocket's Red Glare all posted up.
  4. GM POST The guard is engulfed in flames and keels over before he has time to change his expression. Seeing their friend burned before their eyes makes the other guards try to scramble to their feet to attack their assailant before it's too late. But alas, even with a warning of sorts they meet the same fate just as quickly. From the floor below you can hear panicked shouts and cries.
  5. I avenged you. Now I just need to find you, thank god Malice is so good at locating the Captain in his hour of need
  6. "Captain!" shouted Malice, for once actually sounding concerned. "Hold on, I'll come to get you! Once I make this thing pay!" Malice roared as he readied his weapon. He took his revenge on the creature, showering it with hot lead. Malice hoped that was enough, who knows what other horrors this planet had, and how many more the Captain's flight through the forest would attract. As far as he was concerned, the sooner they completed their mission, the better.
  7. Used my villain point, failed by 8, stunned and another bruise.
  8. Malice did indeed get thwacked quite hard again. He managed to mitigate the damage somewhat by flying away at the last second, but it still hurt like hell. "Thought you said you could handle it!? Let me know when that things breaks loose next time why don'tcha?"
  9. "Hold on a sec. I'll be done here in a moment." Malice shouted over the sounds of battle. He had to pause his fire for a moment as the creature attacked. "Alright big boy, you could take one barrage, but can you take the second?" Taunted Malice as he unloaded on the creature for the second time. "Nope, didn't think so." as the creature roared in pain again.
  10. Point of note. This first round is a surprise round, meaning the guards don't get a turn.
  11. Malice picked himself up from the mud. "Okay, that sucked." Malice took flight until was about eye level with the beast. "You thought that was funny huh? Well guess who's laughing now?" There was a lot of mechanical whirring and Malice brought out his very most favorite gun, the Second Amendment. Malice was concerned because it looked like the poor creature could use more iron in it's diet, and he was happy to oblige and unloaded on the beast.
  12. Av, how was your initiative bonus so high? I only get +13 for you. 1 rank of super speed from boost, 1 from Time-walker, plus 5 dex.
  13. Owww. VP reroll on toughness, still stunned.
  14. The giant mossy fist slammed down on Malice HARD. Thankfully the bridge broke under the stress and the force of the blow was disfused somewhat. Malice however, was still feeling that blow. "Remind me to kill you if we don't live through this." wheezed Malice through his now bruised rips.
  15. Rumor has it that a giant red monster has been spotted in the Fens. Every couple of days it makes a new appearance and thrashes a local gang or group of thugs. Doesn't seem to be targeting normal civilians and doesn't beat the thugs up too badly, but perhaps a curious hero would like to take a look for themselves? Basically, this is just Atlas' introduction thread. Anyone interested?
  16. 47 -- Vestige -- Unharmed -- VP x1 29 -- Captain Knievel -- Unharmed -- VP x3 23 -- Ronin -- Unharmed -- VP x1 18 -- Belphegor -- Unharmed -- VP x1 12 -- Troops 1 -- Malice -- Unharmed -- VP x2 WM, unless I missed it, I don't see where you've spent your 20 free points, care to direct me?
  17. GM POST You each got into position around the desert complex. It's no surprise that the complex has gone unnoticed, the bunkers are meant to look like rocky out cropings. It was just another empty stretch of land as far as you could tell. The bunkers were only about as big as a moderately sized room, though there did appear to be a second floor below ground. From your vantage point(s) you can see 3 guards in the bunker along with stairs leading downstairs. A guard's life is apparently incredibly boring as all of the guards are occupied doing something menial and distracting. Their look out consists of occasionally looking over their shoulder or over the top of their magazine. It seems doubtful that they're notice you approaching unless you draw attention to yourselves.
  18. Initiative (1d20+0=5)
  19. Malice Initiative 1d20+0 = 1 Troop Initiative (1d20+1=12) There are 3 visible guards in each bunker, along with a set of stairs heading down to a lower level. The guards are distracted either by playing cards, watching tv, yakking it up with the others, or resting their eyes. Unless you draw obvious attention to yourself, they will stay that way.
  20. These were trying times to be sure. Very little had gone the way it was supposed to as of late, and nearly every day, Eric went to bed exhausted. But there was always that last respite of sleep. For a few glorious hours everyday, everyone in the world would shut up and leave him alone. Sleep hadn't come easy for the first few days, the familiar weight on his right side was no longer there. He had to learn how to do things all over again, but in time, he did. He had survived these trials and has become stronger for it. As he fell off to sleep, he promised himself that he could never again need to learn to sleep on his opposite side.
  21. Yeah, this is all planned out so we're at out best when we begin the assault. You know practically down to the second when the optimal time to activate the boost is.
  22. Added a few drawbacks, and used the points to bump skills back up to their original value and nudged saves up a little bit.
  23. I'm going to go with the Grue. They want to destabilize the super hero community, that have shapeshifting powers, and some have formitable mental powers. Atlas is a hero to be turned weapon, he changes form, and originally had Mind Shield (which I intend to give him again when I have the points). So lets say that there's a Grue posting as a doctor somewhere in Freedom, last time Samael visited the doctor's office, they did something to him, and then being near-death in the alley kick started the metamorphosis. Sound good? Let me just change a few points around to reflect this. I'll post again when I'm done.
  24. "Here we are. Let me just make the final approach, and try and find a good spot to set her down." While Malice is bringing the ship down, and image of a vivid blue plant that looks a bit like a shriveled up eggplant pops up on screen. "This is what we're looking for. We'll need 4 of them, more or less depending on the size or quality of them. Once set step outside, prepare for some crazy stuff."
  25. Malice ran through all the pre-flight mumbo jumbo, most of which Malice had only barely just grasped so the Captain was at a real loss. The whole process took at least 20 minutes of Malice talking to himself in techno jargon and flipping the occasional switch. Finally, with a satisfying roar, the ship lurched a few feet off the ground and did an about face. "All systems are GO." Malice began strapping himself into a harness and remarked to the Captain "Buckle up. If you don't, I can only guarantee your death. This thing goes from zero to holy **** real fast." Malice adds while pointing to the panel that reads: "Numbers cease to have meaning at the speeds we'll be going at. Now I just have one very important question for you: Do you want to do the count down?"
