Red Star needs some play time, and he's just stupid enough to give this a shot ;)

I think each having their own thread will be the easiest to keep track of, and it'll also have the added benefit of not having to wait for a slacker to post. On the other hand, one of the threads might get left behind, which would have problems if an event in their thread will retroactively affect the others. But so long as we keep tabs on everyone else and that we're all advancing at the same pace I don't think it should be that much of an issue. Here's to a good heist :twisted:

Yeah, it always great when you find a game that you can just play forever. Left 4 Dead may very well be that for me. If you try playing by yourself, I'll admit that its not that good, but when you play online with other people, or even do a LAN game, its soo much fun. My favorite thing is that you truly need other people to help you out, its not the stereotypical one guy stands alone against an entire army and wins scenario. It's 1 guy and 3 of his best buddies scream "oh ****" into a microphone for a few hours as they dart through the landscape like scared rats, just trying to survive. Okay, I made the game sound harder than it really is, but its really fun.

Speak as if he/she were sitting right here in front of you. Use proper tone so they might heed your advice... Eric, do me a favor and just listen for a moment. Don’t do this. They are called heroes for a reason, they’re also using their powers for what they believe is right. They’re not the villains you make them out to be. A great deal can be done if you work with them instead of against them.

Well I've been here for about 8 months now, so I figured it's high time I introduce myself. I'm a bit of an RPG junkie, and I'm working my way through every system under the sun. D&D 3.5 and 4, Hunter: The Vigil and Reckoning, Exalted, Gurps, MnM, and Pathfinder, among others. I'm the type of guy who knows every rule under the sun, and the page number, after like the first read through. I read the rules over and over again, and make tons of characters. I'm using Freedom City to try to be a better role player because it doesn't come naturally to me. I love video games too, like left 4 dead, rock band, and I'm also an Oblivion junkie as well. And I'm rambling, so I'll shut up now.

Well, first glaring problem I see is the Cha of 1. A) because RPing a character with that low of Cha will be a huge obsacle in and of itself and your avatar would cause you to take ongoing irony damage every round. Skills: bluff, diplomacy, disguise, gather info, intimidate should be -5 Double check the math, because I'm coming up with 83 points in powers: 6+4+12+8+1+1+26+9+4+2+3+1+2+4=83 Also, the lack of thumbs won't be a -3 DB because of your move object, it'll be -1 IMO. Also, my suggestion would be to take your 4 points out of Fort save, and 4 points out of protection and buy 8 points in Con to get the same effect, frankly because I've never seen or heard of and ant getting tired. But keeping it the way it is, is perfectly fine. But I would also add on the noticable DB for -1 point on protection because an exoskeleton is quite noticeable. Other than that, I don't see any more problems, but then again this is just a preliminary glance, I don't have the books in front of me. EDIT: Also, HQ starts with 5 toughness automatically otherwise the walls would literally be weaker than paper.

It's Favored Opponent technically, but it's technically a legitimate feat. An odd one for sure, but it's correct.

:shock: I really don't know how Red Star is doing this. That's what, his 4th natural 20 now? I wish I was this lucky in my other games. I think I need to give Red Star the feat Favored Enemy (Statisticians).

I left a placeholder in IC thread because I wanted to double check as to whether or not Grab was aiming for a grapple or a pin, as that would affect what I would do on my turn, not to mention whether or not I need to make a toughness save.

Red Star's luck finally runs out as Grab coils around him. "Ah crap. This is gonna end badly." [PLACE HOLDER] Panicked for a moment, Red Star wondered how he was going to get out of this situation. But then he noticed something, she had all she could do just to hold onto him. As the idea came to him, Red Star let out a small laugh. As his laugh died, so did all the light he had been radiating. There was a small pause before Red Star brought all of his Herculean strength to bear with a defiant roar.

I need a little input on the radio jammer. Malice can take a 10 on both of the checks required for an invention and wind up with 14 points to mess around with, requiring 70 hours total. Or conversely, by taking a -5 on the checks I would wind up with 9 points to mess around with, that takes 22.5 hours to create. For the invention itself I was thinking of something along these lines: Obscure 11- (Radio effects) Extra: Area - Burst (+1); Flaw: Touch Range; PF: Selective, Extended x2 (275ft radius) OR the cheap version: Obscure 5 (Radio effects) Extra: Area - Burst (+1); Flaw: Touch Range; PF: Selective, Extended x3 (250ft radius) Actually I noticed that no saving throw is involved so the cheap version is just as good as the expensive version. If anyone can figure out a better way to do it, or any mistakes I made, let me know.

While Malice didn't like the idea of killing innocents by any stretch of the imagination, it looks like he would have to play by their rules for the time being. They had the right idea of using them as hostages, and their plan was very well thought out and intricate. But if everything went according to plan, they could pull this off without much difficulty at all. What worried him however was the radio jammer. "I believe I could whip up a radio jammer of some kind, but it will take some time. Jamming the radio frequencies of the guards while maintaining our own communication is no small feat, especially considering the area that needs to be covered. Rough guess as to how long it'll take is 2 to 3 weeks, as I have a day life and would be rather suspicious if I disappeared. If I was rushed I could get it done in about a week, but the quality would be noticablely less. And as an aside, I'd prefer it if no innoccents came to undue harm."

Ok, for Red Star I'd like to get a rank in the Luck feat. Rational: His lucky streak from Forceful Ops. Secondly, get the All-Out Attack feat. Rational: He's been using aggressive stance over and over again, and has been "instructed" on the proper way to punch, again see Forceful Ops. For Malice, I'll spend 1 point to get another rank in Benefit (wealth) [for a total of 3 ranks] Rational: Got a few ranks in Knowledge (business and civics) and they're paying off for him, and rumors that Dr. Archeville was visiting the company helped too.
