  1. I don't know, do heroes usually leave the bad guys armed with highly advanced weaponry at their disposal for the police?
  2. They're driving away as fast as they can, but Blueshift it at least 3 times as fast as any of them, plus because they're driving on their rims, they are leaving gouges in the road, meaning that even if you somehow lose them, you can find them easily. I'm just letting you know all this because you said you didn't want to have to break out the Invention this early.
  3. You do know you've disabled all but 1 of the vehicles right? Yeah they still run, but their top speed has been severely hindered and they can't maneuver worth a damn.
  4. Blueshift 18 - HPx3 - Unharmed - Goons 17 - 18 remaining (minions) Push 11 - HPx2 - Unharmed Blueshift is up
  5. After several careful moments of deliberation, Dynamo still had no idea what the heck was going on. It was abundantly clear however that things were getting worse and not better. Thanks to his increased sight, Dynamo was still able to keep tabs on what was going on, even at this distance. Not that the image wasn't terrifying, but you needed to shove those emotions down and beat that reptilian side of your brain into picking fight as a viable option. You could throw up later. But the fact that the creature seemed to be able to drive the others to temporary madness, getting tangled up in that mess would be counter productive at best. No someone needed to logic their way out of this. And after electing himself the president and only member of the "not crazy at the moment" club, that responsibility fell to Dynamo. But he needed to stall it while he thought, he ran up and down the nearby streets grabbing pretty much everything that wasn't bolted down and throwing it at the eldritch horror. When half of the items missed entirely and the other half left no visible impression, Dynamo was quite glad no one was able to make out the stream of words coming out of his mouth over the din of battle.
  6. Point of note, Dynamo still has 6 HP. He was not affected by the Fiats due to not being in range therefore suffered no setback, so he shouldn't have gotten any HP. And on that note, Dynamo is going to go ahead and continue to keep his distance on account of the others going a little crazy pants and not wanting to get caught up in that. But not having ranged attacks means he's going to have to stunt one off his Speedy Attack Array. Descriptor of picking up a bit of whatever is available and chucking it at high speed. Strike 5 (Extras: Ranged; Flaws: Full Round Action; Feats: Mighty, Accurate 3, Penetrating 5, Improved Range 2) Ranged Attack roll vs Dokthulu, PA 2, DC 27 Tough, Penetrating 5 (1d20+12=13) ...Dynamo did not make the baseball team as a child.
  7. In order to hit your PL caps for offense, you need to have your Attack and Damage bonus average out to your PL. Your bat has a +10 Attack bonus, and a +8 damage bonus, so that averages out to 9. If your damage was 2 higher OR your attack bonus 2 higher OR your attack bonus 1 higher and your damage bonus 1 higher, you would be PL 10 offensively. So yes, if you dropped Improved Disarm to get Attack Specialization, you would be at PL 10.
  8. You have a +15 Grapple. Be sure to note that Knockback is -1 without powers. Powers are accounted for wrong The Base knife is 31pp, not 28 Strike 11 + Vampiric 13 + Imp Crit 1 + Penetrating 5 + Mighty 1 = 31pp + 3 ap's = 34pp Tracking 3 lets you move All out, 2 ranks is a full normal speed.
  9. Just want to clarify something. With a +10 Melee Attack bonus and a +8 bonus from the bat, you are PL 9 offensively. Also, be aware, as Equipment, your bat is likely to break (or bend into an unusable form) if you give something a resounding thwack. If you're alright with this, I'll stamp.
  10. Extra Credits is back on YouTube after the whole Escapist fiasco. Like, Favorite and Subscribe. m5rh2OYQLZA
  11. Initiative is only +4 You forgot to do your Grapple Bonus. You didn't include your Con Bonus in your Fort or Tough saves. You have 12 ranks in Skills, not 11. If you're going to buy Attack Focus Melee AND Attack Focus Ranged, just buy Attack instead. Your Feats section says you have 7 ranks in Dodge Focus, but your Combat line says Dodge Focus 5. Skill Mastery gives you Mastery in 4 different Skills, not just 1. The HQ: +55 Toughness is way, way too far off the charts. Cut it in half, at least. Hidden isn't a Feature I'm aware of. Holding Cells 3 doesn't exist, the max you can have is 2. Isolated, and Library don't have ranks at all. Dimensional Movement has a Maximum of 3 ranks, and Powers for a HQ cost only 1 EP. The Blast power has a range increment of 110ft. You've spent 76 points in Powers. And looking over everything, you've spent 188 points. I haven't looked over the fluff yet either, just a heads up.
  12. point of note, Dynamo has 6HP. He started with 6, used 1 to get Imp Crit, and got one with the resulting Fiat, so no net change.
  13. :approved:
  14. FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF---- ... "Interceptors! Kick the @#$% out of that thing, and we'll figure this out later!" roared Dynamo as he realized it was time for less talking, more hitting. He charged into the fray, trusting everyone to stop with their squabbles and instead turn their attention to beating on TheThingThatShouldNotBe, they were reliable like that. Now usually Dynamo's main method of attack was vibrating his fists at super-speeds and then punching the enemy, effectively punching them several dozen times at super high speeds. But he could use a similar technique on any part of his body, in this case he used his feet. He ran up the... side? of Dokthulu, effectively kicking him several dozen times with every step he took, eliciting a noise reminiscent of machine gun fire. He circled Dokthulu over and over again, pummeling any part of him he could reach, before rocketing off down the street. He was going to need some momentum for his next trick, than and he wanted to get a proper scope of things, something he quite regretted when he saw the full size of Dokthulu.
  15. Reaction: Concentration Check to Maintain powers, round 1 (1d20+2=11); everything maintained Move Action: Get into Melee Range Standard Action: Vibrofist vs Cthulu!Dok, PA 5, DC 30 Tough, Autofire 1 (1d20+9=24) Free Action: Use EE to Surge to do it again: Standard Action: Vibrofist vs Cthulu!Dok, PA 5, DC 30 Tough, Autofire 1, again (1d20+9=27) I'll spend a HP here to get 1 more rank of Improved Critical. Continued Move Action: Put about 1 city block between Dynamo and Cthulu!Dok
  16. Ok a few quick things. On your Saves and Skills, you need to denote what they are with and without your powers. Alphabetize your feats. And speaking of feats, if your Defensive Roll is based upon the plants intercepting attacks, then it should be an Enhanced Feat, which has the same cost, but is listed under Powers instead of feats.
  17. Dynamo just finished his second year, but is transferring to HIT this summer.
  18. Abilities: Your Strength and Constitution should both be 30/20, a typo from a previous version is my guess. Combat: Your Initiative is only +2 Grapple should be +9, +14 You have a +1 Flat-footed Defense Knockback is -2, -7 Saves: List what your Fort and Tough saves are with and without the Enhanced Constitution. Reflex is incorrect as you only have a +2 Dex Bonus. Will should be +6. Skills, you have 28 ranks, just a typo. If you don't have a Drawback, you can just delete the example given.
  19. *adds another one to the list* I've got a compulsion to learn every RPG I can get my mitts on, and this is going to be no exception. Does anyone know how the rest of the RPG's they've created have worked out?

    Atlas

I've really started to come to terms with myself. And not just because I now recognize that I am a Grue on a molecular level. It's now that I realize, what I should have realized years ago. I realized that I'm a hero. Or at least, I should be. And that's what I've realized, I've always tried to avoid that duty. When I first got my powers, I was just content to beat up punks that happened upon my street. It took a chance encounter with a few heroes to get me out of that rut. But I never left it entirely. I worked with the Midnighters to be sure, but I was never much of a team player, and even if we did work as a team, we rarely did so in the daylight. Or really, anywhere that would get us noticed. I stepped a toe into the limelight when I boxed Fulcrum, but I hastily retreated back into my safe zone shortly there after. Then I was thrown into the limelight with the Grue Invasion, and my secret was out. And what did I do? I went to friggen Russia for a few months. I didn't even hang around to give a proper explanation. And you know what? The people of Freedom City deserve better. The people of the world deserve better. They deserve to look at me as a hero. I have that obligation to fill. I can't run away from my duty, even though it quite frankly scares the crap out of me. I have to be who I was meant to be. I have to go out there and be a face that comforts people, not just a fist that punches the bad guys.
  21. Right, so the smartest man on the planet has a permanent residence in crazy town, fan-friggen-tastic. he thought as Mona related her tale of Doktor Archeville's Other side. He was pacing back and forth, trying to figure out what to do. Given that the Interceptors breaking free from the mind control was simultaneous after Doktor Archeville uttered some more German and judging from the reaction to them breaking free, it would appear as if the Other wasn't the only one in Dok's head right now. Perhaps their relationship had swapped? Good Dok as the minor role and Bad Dok was the star. Their goal had to be getting Archeville out of the armor and searched for any gadgets; fish like appearance aside, the Other was likely not a threat without the armor. But that also had the drawback that Archeville was less protected from the team's baser impulses. And not to sound like a jerk, but Dynamo realized he was most likely the one closest to approaching the situation rationally. He had interacted least with the new Interceptors, and he didn't have a significant other on the dead or severely injured list. That's not to say he didn't want to see what happened when you kicked a scientist in the nuts at 500 mph, but he was resisting the urge right now. And then came the thunder, and Dynamo's heart soared. Ok, now how to explain this? "Right, you're alive. That's great, don't get me wrong, but we've got a problem, that needs dealing with now. Archeville's has been possessed. He hasn't been in control of his actions. We need to get him out of his armor before he wakes up, and hit him if he wakes up before that, but keep his head on his shoulders; our Dok's in their somewhere."
