Not gonna bother with Eli, too distracted to notice.
-
Eli was a little stunned as more people started showing up. "Dude..." said Eli facing Grim. "Best. Guest list. Ever." Think this also clears it up as to whether or not the guest list is heroes only. Wait isn't that...? thought Eli as a literal flying carpet came down in the backyard. "Good lord, that's the Ace Danger; I got to meet him." Walking over to Ace, Eli stuck out his hand. "Uh, Ace Danger? My name's Eli, and I'd just like to say it's a pleasure to meet you sir."

For the love of God don't let this turn into DC Adventures Forever.

Crap... thought Eli as he stuffed his math book back into its drawer. Vince had come up with a good plan, but it didn't make it any more enjoyable on Eli's part. Eli pulled on his costume and started doing some stretches to warm up. He didn't want his clothes to catch on anything or else it would throw his pattern off and if he got a cramp, then he wasn't of very much use. Within a few moments, Eli was nothing more than an ionized breeze circulating throughout the house. Like most Interceptor's missions; Eli's job was to just get in the way and be a nuisance. As he passed by Grim and Vince he dropped a note "Keep me posted."

"Good to know I vas your top pick." joked Sam as he ate another spoonful of ice cream. A spoonful of ice cream he would choke on as soon as Vivian asked her first question. Son of a... thought Sam as he thumped his chest to get that piece of banana dislodged from his throat. He waved off on lookers that may have been concerned about him choking. "You are not really writing zis paper on ze Russian immigrants now are you? Vhat is it you really vant?" replied Samael, his voice chilling a few degrees.
-
"Well... I've pretty much been an ***hat the entire time you've known me." stated Eli also bluntly. "The last time we talked, I didn't do or say anything that could ever be considered even remotely "right". I couldn't leave it like that. I hurt you. So I came here to try an apologize. So uh... will you hear me out?" asked Eli tentatively as he sort of half held out the flowers. He felt like he was offering up some sort of sacrifice to a heathen god so it wouldn't send a plague to his village. A thought he was smart enough to keep buried in his skull, rather than speak aloud.
-
Eli tries to have a conversation with Wander without sticking a foot in his mouth.
-
Dynamo had been trying to dig up the courage to do this for a few hours now. He had the flowers, he had the apology rehearsed a thousand times. All he had to do was give her the flowers, give his apology, get her response, and walk away. Dynamo knew she wasn't going to like him after this, that'd be far too much of a stretch. Hating him a little less was the goal here. If everything went even better than according to plan, they'd be restored to a blank slate, and then Eli would do the smartest thing in his life, walk away. He wasn't ready to deal with what happened to Erin, irregardless if she was ready to talk. Finally, Eli mustered up the courage to walk into the gym. He felt really out of place without his uniform and carrying a bouquette of flowers, but it was a price he could not complain about. "Uh Erin? Can we talk?"

make a general crowd-control post. I'm going to let the other things resolve first, and then see if I can go ahead and mess things up a bit more.

"Vell education is very important. An education is one zing zat zey can never take avay from you. You vill alvays have zat. I just vanted to make sure you have opportunity I did not." replied Samael simply. "So is zis a project of your choice, or vas zis somezing zat everyone in ze class has to do?" said Samael, unsure of which answer he would prefer. If it was the former, she'd be interested, but also more of a nooge. If it was the later, then she didn't care, but the interview would be a lot less painless. Either way, it was an excuse for ice cream so it couldn't be all bad.

Rant Opposed Power Check DC 31 (1d20+12=29) The Attack is nulled.

Shaen, ripping through the scenery is totally good. You only need to ask if the item in question is of obvious importance. The closest group of baddies are at what would be one of the security check points. It's where they get their radiation badges issued and/or checked before heading further into the facility. 2 guards and 3 technicians are in the area.

You are aware that using Moving Feint is a full round action correct? To attack during the same round you use moving Feint requires you to use Extra Effort. EDIT: As Darius is going to be gone until Tuesday, we'll just assume Fulcrum acted somehow, even if we don't know how it mechanically worked. We can at least get the mechanical portion of people's turns up. So Gizmo, you're up, but don't post IC until Darius has confirmed OOC.

The already scared inmates become flat out terrified and immediately decide their only option at this point is to beat feet. That being said, there are still all the hardened criminals who don't give up quite so easily, no matter how many times they get thrown back into their cells. Take the White Knight for example. If ever there was a symbol for all the punching bag villains in Freedom City, White Knight would be it. It was just so satisfying to clean his clock. He wasn't exactly a push over however. Engulfed in his supposed holy fire White Knight took to the air to blind side Mongrel Angel. He was bellowing something about her being unclear and defiling the good lord's work, or some such. To be perfectly honest all his rants were kind of running together at this point. He was known for a lot of things, originality was not one of them. Speaking of punching bags, Rant saw an opportunity to avenge his fallen sister and released a deafening roar at Mongrel Angel as well, lacking the courage to attack her by himself.

The rabble cannot oppose that Intimidate check with all of the penalties they have stacked onto them. Combine that with Dead Head's previous success, the rabble are running for the hills. ----- White Knight is going to attack Mongrel Angel. He'll punch her while using his aura Strike, provoking 2 saves. White Knight Attack roll vs MA, DEF 13, PA 5, AoA 5. DC 28 vs Strength, DC 31 vs Fire on a hit (1d20+8=10) Well that sucks. GM Fiat for a reroll. White Knight Attack roll vs MA, DEF 13, PA 5, AoA 5. DC 28 vs Strength, DC 31 vs Fire on a hit. GM Fiat reroll (1d20+8=28) Correction: that sucks. so DC 33 and 36 respectively. ---- Rant is going to attempt to use his Blast on Mongrel Angel for revenge for taking out Rave. "We wouldn't be hidden if you could spot us readily." echoed a cold voice from the back of the room. The speaker was a petite brunette, carrying several manilla folders in her arms. "Opps, did we let that slip?" the girl's voice is joined by several others dotted throughout the room, all speaking in complete unison. The guards by the exit, a man on one of the phone lines, the agent standing not 4 feet from director Powers, and the agent who had been compiling the data on the screens for the heroes to see. "Pity. Now we can no longer allow anyone to leave alive. Your demise will be slightly less painful if you surrender now."

Holy crap that actually worked! thought Dynamo thoroughly taken aback. Wait - Crap! What do I do now?! I've never made it this far without being told to buzz off. Well ya better do something dude, you're blowing it! "Well lets show you around a bit first." said Eli as he slid his arm around her waist. He lead her out into the back yard. "Now you're one of the first to arrive so there aren't too many people about yet. The brosef over on that chair is Jack. Jill's his little sister, you can probably see the family resemblance. And other there by the grill is Grim's squeeze Billy. Nice guy. The food should be coming out in a few minutes. Right Bill?" Eli said the last part a bit louder to get Colt's attention and get some sort of confirmation.

"That's a no on taking one for the team then; guess I'm just not your speed. Get it? It's a speed joke. 'Cuz I run fast." listening to the sweet music of groans and face palms, Eli expertly sprang to his feet. While not nearly as agile as Grim, Eli was incredibly light on his feet. He was back running at Jack almost as soon as his feet touched the ground again. He did a base ball slide attacking Jack's legs and standing up on the opposite side of Jack. Jack was able to avoid the attack without any sort of problems, but it did give Fulcrum a bit more of an opening. Eli even added a new verse to Grim's little song "Yar har fiddly ti di! Being a pirate is alright with me!" singing it tauntingly in Jack's ear. [groove]21790607[/groove]

Free Action, be a sassafras. Free Action, take a 10 on Acrobatics to stand as a free action. Move Action, get adjacent to JoAB. Standard, attack to use Aid Another, giving the bonus to Fulcrum. Attack roll to use Aid Another, DC 10 (1d20+6=12)

*BBZZZZZTTT* "Ah dude! What the heck! That hurt!" called Eli up to... well everyone except Fulcrum actually, hitting Eli had sort of just turned into a team wide affair. And then he noticed his *ahem* surroundings, and Eli's face immediately got the only color it was ever gonna get. Still blushing, Eli propped his head up with both his hands balled up under his chin. "Ya know, we really should do this more often." smiled the impish Eli as he rolled back over onto his back and away from Grim. "We should totally try that again. I'm sure it'll work this time. Ya can't argue with results after all."

Eli was about to retort to Jack's "zippy" comment when he suddenly felt a disturbance in the force, as if the party was no longer a sausage fest. He zipped around Grim and the new arrivals, scooping up Grim from behind in a bear hug. "Gotcha! Happy Birthday!" before setting her down though he whispered into her ear. "Thanks for the party favors." with a significant glance to the newest arrivals. Eli knew better than to hold onto Grim for long or else even he wouldn't be about to outrun the beatings. Grim was a nice girl and all, but don't get her mad. "Welcome ladies, I'm Eli. Pleasure to meet you." he said as he greeted the two new comers. "Took the liberty of warming the pool up a touch as well, should be nice and toasty. Ain't gonna pass for a hot tub mind ya, but it's pretty cash."
