  3. (10:30:26) Geez3r: Actually Ozoe, I just looked over the character, there's a few errors (10:30:50) Geez3r: you've spent 21 points in Ability scores, not 19 (10:31:28) Geez3r: In the combat and save sections, please split up some of the numbers so we know what they (10:31:47) Geez3r: *they're like with and without powers (10:32:37) Geez3r: You've spent 15 points in feats, not 14 (10:33:06) Geez3r: Your Electrical Control power costs 39 points, not 29 (10:34:12) Geez3r: With Enhanced Dex 8, and base Dex 18, your total Dex should be 26, not 24 (10:47:03) Geez3r: One more thing Ozoe, for the Super Strength and Snare effects, Ground strike, Tether and Split attack are Power Feats, not Extras (10:47:09) Geez3r: you did the math properly though
  4. Ah, forgot about that little trick. KFK has Blind Fight, so he only takes 1/2 penalty from concealment, so a 25% miss chance. We'll call 1 through 5 a miss. Kung Fu Killer Miss Chance, 1 through 5 is a miss (1d20=16) That's a hit

    Meltdown (OOC)

Yeah, the front doors are glass. You can totally see inside the building. Like you could turn around and wave to everyone who's standing in the parking lot that's located like, right there.
  6. Though Arrowhawk's aim was impeccable as ever, the chaos of the courtyard forced him to divert his aim just a hair. That hair was all that was needed for a vetran fighter like Orion the Hunter to evade the incoming attack. "I'm not the one winding up in a cage today little birdy." taunted Orion as he dodged the tonfa strikes of the nearby guards. Elsewhere, a figure darted out of the crowd, running along the shoulders of the other innates before landing before Sarah Prescott. "An interesting weapon you carry there. I'd love to see the blade sing in battle. Come!" shouted the inmate before rushing Sarah. He lashed out with a furious back kick, meant to break her guard and open her up for severe punishment.
  7. Giz: Yep. Basically you have to know the situation you're getting into and have a couple of minutes to think of a plan. I figure who's locked up in Blackstone is pretty common knowledge. Ecal, you forgot to take the -5 on the Startle for doing it as a move action, but to make up for it, you forgot the +2 to hit Master Plan gives you, the latter mitigating the soft cover bonus he has relative to you (and vice versa). In addition, Orion has Elusive Target, and is currently engaged with friendly targets. Arrowhawk has 1 rank of Precise shot so he only takes a -4 on his attack roll. So the Startle DC is reduced to 21 and the attack roll to 19. Orion Sense Motive, opposing Arrowhawk Startle DC 21 (1d20+14=23) Orion is not flat footed and therefore the attack misses. Kung Fu Killer, spotting her sword believes Sarah Prescott to be a worthy foe. He'll close to melee range, Power attack for 3, Defensive Attack 2 (setting his defense to 25) and use his Stunning Attack feat. Kung Fu Killer attack roll vs Sarah DEF 21, PA 3, DA 2, Stunning Attack, DC 17 Fort save on a hit (1d20+11=23) For quick reference, if you fail the save, you're dazed, fail by 5 = stun, fail by 10 = unconscious Breakdown's up after I get a IC post up.
  8. While the heroes move quickly and quickly defuse much of the situation, however there's things going on that don't get resolved quite as easily. Firstly, there are a few guys who were getting ready to chuck some molitov cocktails at a store front, but decided better with the heroes' intervention. But one of them can't seem to put the flame out and is now in danger of exploding all over him. Further down the street, it looks like a few people wanted to ride out the bad times with the ultimate high and had managed to get their hands on some pretty bad drugs. Blitzed out of their minds, their car's weaving in and out of traffic and up onto the side walk; it's only a matter of time before they hit someone. There's also a jumper from one of the sky scrapers; he was too far away to hear Freedom Angel, and too high to be affected by the pollen quite yet. Lastly there are a pair of kids, a boy and a girl, neither of which look older than 5, hugging each other by the side of the road, clearly separated from their parents.
  9. Anyone who thought that Dynamo couldn't get any paler was in for a surprise as all the color drained from his face. He looked genuinely afraid. "Uh... dude? I was kind of in like one fight before getting my powers." said Eli as he took a few steps back from Jack. "Ya know what broheem, this is totally the time for me to start doing that whole "thinking things through" stuff y'all keep yammering on about. So I'm just gonna be over here and think about - dammit Mo' why are you still so fricken tall?" Sputters Dynamo suddenly as he realizes one of their number apparently still has their powers. "Wait, you're on my team! Dibs! Totally calling dibs on being on her team! I can do this." he says as he is apparently now a little more confident with a giantess on his team as he takes a rather poor stance.
  10. "Actually I had forgotten about that." confessed Dynamo as he grabbed Jack's hand with a cheeky smile. "I was totally gonna go joy buzzer on ya there. Figured I could run away long enough for you to cool off. But I gots respect for ya now brosef, well more of it anyways." Dynamo let go of Jack's hand without any sparking going on or nothing. "Don't be a stranger."
  11. In chat we were wondering how it would nullify Grim's clothes or Grim herself. Handwave it is.
  12. Let the bloodshed begin. Depowered Initiative (1d20+2=9)
  13. Dynamo's mind drifted, he couldn't stop thinking of that rather buxom bunny back outside the museum. He wanted to be near her, he wanted to be close to her. Dynamo streaked back through the streets toward his heart's desire. He was casually aware of a giant fist trying to grind him into the pavement, but he side stepped that, not pausing in his quest to the fair madien. Stopping in front of her, he closed his eyes and puckered up. Something in the back of his mind told him there was something else he should be doing right now, but ignoring that voice proved to be far more enjoyable.
  14. fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff- Marionette's up. 29 Dynamo - Unharmed, HP x3 13 Marionette - Unharmed 12 Red Queen - Unharmed 7 Jaci o' Cups - Unharmed
  15. Waiting on AA to post an opposed power check so I know what Dynamo can do with his turn.
  16. Atlas is going to decline the invite (though send a nice present). Dynamo will be annoyingly present as usual.
  17. 54 - Zephyr - Unharmed - HP x2 18 - Sage - Unharmed - HP x1 13 - Freedom Angel - Unharmed - HP x6 9 - Robin Cross - Unharmed - HP x2 2 - Fluer - Unharmed - HP x5 EDIT: Working on getting everything else up, so consider this a WIP Ok, Freedom Angel, Robin and Fluer all get a Fiat HP for their respective effects not being the automatic win button. Each one of them should have won the day. :argh:
  18. While some staff are trying to move the patients out, many are in need of immediate medical attention and won't survive the transit to any other facility, especially with the traffic in the city seized up the way it is. The staff manages to evacuate 3 buses full of patients out of hospital before the monsters appear on the horizon. Atlas's threat wasn't a trick, they were being attacked by a veritable army. They were divided into 3 major groups; one approaching on ground from the southwest, a faster group approaching from the southeast, and there's a group of fliers approaching from the north. Each one of these groups is accompanied by another larger Kaiju-esque creature, bigger and meaner than any of the ones seen today.

    No Mercy (OOC)

27 - Screamer - Unharmed 26 - Jack of All Blades - Unharmed - HP x6 23 - Behemoth (3) - Unharmed 22 - Stalkers - Unharmed 21 - Geckoman - Unharmed - HP x2 20 - Colt - Unharmed - HP x8 20 - Hellion - Unharmed - HP x3 17 - Wander - Unharmed - HP x5 17 Ravenger - Unharmed 14 - Grimlakin - Unharmed - HP x5 14 - Edge - Unharmed - HP x7 12 - Sparksmith - Unharmed - HP x1 8 - Phalanx - Bruised x1 - HP x5 Okay, four main monster groups here. Behemoths, which are individual heroic creatures. They're the slowest of the bunch, but if they get near the hospital, there won't be a hospital for much longer. Ravengers are a collection of humanoid critters with some sort of monsterous deformity, slow but more powerful than the other 3 Mass Combat groups. Stalkers are more animal like, resembling a pack of wolves or some of the great cats. A bit faster but not as powerful as the Ravengers. Screamers are the most animal like of the group, resembling a combination of a bat and a dragon. They're the fastest, but also the weakest. And they fly. Due to all the junk in the way, you can't get a shot at the creatures until they are 600ft away. Behemoths and Ravengers move 120ft per round. Stalkers move 160ft per round, and Screamers move 200ft per round. This is assuming no hero moves out to intercept them themselves. Infor Dump on the Mass Combat rules. Essentially, the group acts and attacks as a whole. I take the base stats of the critter, and then slap a Force modifier on that, making their Attack, DC and Toughness modifiers higher because there's hundreds of them; this becomes the stats of that "character". AOE effects get a +2 DC vs Mass Combat creatures, +1 for each level of progression on the power. Characters with Takedown Attack add to their DC modifier the number of ranks they have in this feat. This is due to the idea that you are attacking an individual rather than the group. IC will be up in a bit, getting kicked off computer right now. As the Screamers are first to act, they are now 400ft away.
  20. A touch too iron for my tastes, but it's not horrible.
  21. The collective group could hear the patter of Dynamo's feet as he descended the steps into the Underground. For whatever reason, he had the habit of taking those steps at normal speed. When he finally reaches the landing, the crew practically needs to avert their eyes; the dude is shockingly Caucasian. His blond hair was riddled with bed head, having obviously recently woken up. He wore a black pair of gym shorts, and a faded white "Offspring" T-shirt, and completed the set with a pair of red high-top sneakers. Couple that with the fact that he's got tan lines when he was the last person you expected to have gotten sun just made it the complete neon white package. Finishing off the last few pieces of is morning's turkey and Hershey bar sandwich he muttered a half-asleep "Murnn'nin brosefs." before digging some sleep out of his eye. "Sos wazzits all about?" questioned Dynamo to no one in particular as he started doing a few warm up exercises and stretches to wake himself up more than anything else.
  22. Sure. Toss him where ever.

    No Mercy (OOC)

We're not in initiative yet. Still figuring out how precisely to challenge y'all.
  24. Blackstone is basically being torn to pieces. The prisoners have made it into one of the main courtyards and are advancing on one of the main guard barracks. The guards are holed up inside pretty tight, but more and more big names are making their appearance. They might be able to hold their own for a wave or two, but much longer than that and it'll be a slaughter. Between the collective masses of the inmates, several big names are making their presence known, if without their trademark costumes and gear. Orion for instance, deftly disarms an injured guard of his firearm, before finishing him and another guard off without breaking stride. The White Knight is roaring about his holy crusade while flinging fire in every direction, hurting just as many prisoners as he is guards. Rant and Rave are doing their thing trying to punch a hole through on of the exterior walls, so the rest of the prisoners can surge into the next area. What appears to be a martial artist, a wolfman and every able bodied prisoner with a blunt instrument are just beating the crap out of anything that looks expensive and/or bleeds.
