Also, I just want to make you aware that you won't be able to use your Blast Power while Insubstantial, if you want to be able to do that, you'll need the Affects Corporeal extra on your Blast.

Under combat, denote what his Knockback is without his powers. Powers, What exactly does the Alternate form entail? What effects are in the Alternate form? Everything else looks good though. I haven't read the fluff though.

Hello and Welcome to the Boards. Stats, fine. Combat, for your Knockback, include a mention of what it is without the costume. Also show what your initiative is without powers. Saves, where is the +2 other for Toughness coming from? I only see 1 point from the costume. Also include the point cost at the Saves section, like you did at the bottom of the sheet, just for quick reference purposes. Skills, good. Feats, I think you left off a bunch of Dodge Focus ranks accidentally. Powers, it's not clear what you have AP's with. Are they AP'd off the quickness or both the Quickness and Speed. If it's the former, then you only have 6 points for the effects, so you can't afford most of them. Also note, you should bold the Effect and Rank, and include the fluff title of the power at the end of the line, it makes it much easier to read. Also note, I didn't read the backstory yet, in a bit of a rush, but I'll get back to you on that shortly.

What I took away from the podcast: DC books are hardcover, standard M&M books are soft cover, at least for their first printing. In core 3E book, some art is reused, but they are thinking of using new art for the book, maybe not including Freedom City characters in the book. Freedom City changing a bit, taking it in new directions. Mum on what those changes are. Details won't like come out until next year. 3E rules are coming out: DC books at Gen Con, 3E itself out in the fall. 3rd party people publish after January. Zantanna's build was done by Kenson, as were all the characters [insert giant "NOOOOOOOOO" here]. She's got a standard magic array rather than a VP. Using HP/EE for stunting effects is still in the game *whew* Feats = Advantages now. Just term change. They're more like utilities and such. No major changes. There's still Power Attack, Defensive Attack, etc. 2d10 instead of d20 system was toyed with, but then tossed. Skills, changed more than Feats. Skill list has been pruned. Grappling, now a "grab manuever". Apparently more "stream lined". Powers, they apparently learned that linking powers is actually a smart idea, and you can slap a descriptor on something to put a bunch of effects under one umbrella. Ie: GL's Force Field & Immunity. You know, what we've been doing for years now. [/gets off the soap box before he gets going] Wonder Woman's build has the plane, lasso = Move Object Linked "Affliction". Beardless, 2 fisted Aquaman is apparently the one they've got. I still say Aquaham is better. 300 stat blocks in Hero and Villain book, there are also write ups to make a character it into a certain version of them. Barry Allen is the Flash, though stat wise he is mechanically the same to Wally West. 4 different GL's and an entry for the Core itself. Default PL is still 10. Still 15pp/PL. Conversion shouldn't be too hard. A Marvel book is highly questionable, several years later, if it happens at all. One of the DC books goes into depth for many of the different Universes. Maybe a shout out to Watchmen? Complications are now part of character creation. Duh. One time bonus point effects are gone. Drawbacks such as Vulnerability are gone, replaced with Complications. At the table play feels the same, but Complications come in far more often. Apparently the designers realize how important they are to the system. :facedesk:

Hrmm, looks like Flight might have gotten a bit of a tweak. Apparently they've changed around the progression table. A Flying speed of 32,000 used to be between Ranks 11 and 12. As for their stats, I'd wager that Agility is for whole body cooderination and Dexterity is for fine manipulation. Also, Fighting is a stat now. My thought is that it is the ability modifier for Close Combat: Unarmed, or Close Combat: Unarmed is keyed off of Agility and a focused skill like that counts 2 for one. Where as he Power Ring appears to be keyed off of Dexterity. Mentioning the power ring, I would like to see how the Devices work now. The Power Ring cost 124 points and granted 124 points. Why the 24 point drawback on removable was included is beyond me. I can't discern a pattern for what the applicable cost/rank is. Dodge/ Parry reminds me of White Wolf unfortunately. There are likely going to be certain attacks that you may only use one defense for. Ie: you cannot parry a fireball, but you can dodge it. Therefore, they could be considered like Reflex and Defense respectively. Just spit balling here, but this will be a decision between like General Area and Targeted area for discerning applicable targets, there may also be extras that change which is which. Also, Hal has 66 ranks in skills, you'll notice that cost him 33 points. Gonna suck to be a skill monkey. Likewise, he's got 42 points in his Abilities, for a point cost of 21. What we expected.

"Oh holy ****!" said Dynamo springing to his feet as Fulcrum laid out the coffee. "I didn't know you could do that! That's friggen awesome! We should totally go into the Underground sometime to train. I gotta see how fast you are." Downing the cup of coffee he adds "Actually I hate the taste of coffee, this just sufficiently kills the taste and I need the energy." Turning to Jack he adds "Ain't gonna touch that one."

It Continues! Okay, we're gonna try a different approach this time. Instead of me telling you where you're gonna go, you get to decide. There are 4 main objectives in part 2: 1. Stop the citizens from rioting, looting and generally tearing the city apart. 2. Stop the riots and/or escape attempts at Blackstone. 3. Protect the Hospitals from Atlas' "pets" 4. Restore power to the city. Those in the MiTS: AEGIS thread will have their own difficulties to deal with. Also, we don't need even teams, if more people head to location X, I ramp up the difficulty. In addition, if no one heads to a certain area, it'll just happen "off screen", handled by the other heroes in the city... probably :twisted: Also, you don't need to be with the same people you were with last time. So the Claremont crew could scatter to the 4 winds. It's all up to you. EDIT: Each objective is its own thread, you can't do multiple threads with the same character.

All across the city, battles had broken out and chaos roamed the streets. But due to the quick intervention of the local heroes, the rampaging monsters were quickly dealt with. While the damage was extensive, it could have been a whole lot worse. News reporters were just making it on scene to report what had transpired today, and to inform the public of who was behind it all. While the heroes were working on restoring order and the status quo, a new danger was emerging. Before they could more than a few words in, the reporters were cut off as their signals were hijiacked. All across Freedom City, a familiar face and voice came on over the televsion and radios, Captain Thunder. The camera focused on his face, taking up most of the screen, a bit off smoke visible over his shoulders. "Citizens of Freedom City, may I have your attention?" began Captain Thunder in a voice that carried to the ears of the citizens all across Freedom. "I have been asked to speak to the public about the events that have transpired this morning in an attempt to alleviate your fears. The rumors you have heard are indeed true, the city was attacked by rampaging Kaiju early on this morning. "But due to the quick response by our cities fair heroes, the threat was dealt with handily and there was minimal damage done. Now, with such an attack, the question that springs to everyone's mind is who was behind these devastating attacks. I standing before you knowing the answer." "I did it." The only sound that could be heard throughout Freedom was Thunder's uncharacteristically harsh and cold laughter. "What?! You're surprised by this? Like I could really stand to watch you idiots put the world in peril over and over again, never getting a moment's rest. So I decided that the city would do better under my ruler ship. There were disagreements of course..." Thunder stepped to the side of camera to reveal the smoking building behind him: Freedom Hall. The national land mark appeared as if it had a bomb go off inside of it, but even the fire and smoke couldn't obscure the tremendous damage done to it. The Freedom League itself was scattered all across the front lawn, like discarded toys. Most interesting of all was the fact that Captain Thunder was also sprawled out on the lawn. "Oh right, I completely forgot to mention..." said the fake Captain Thunder stepping back into the frame. "I'm not really Captain Thunder. But that isn't particularly good news as far as you as concerned..." The Captain got red in the face, almost as if he was about to bellow, but then his face contorted, revealing his true face. The face of Atlas. "Ta dah!" cackled Atlas. "Don't think this changes anything though. My pets were just the opening act. I've go so much more in store for you today. For instance, I might have told some friends of my plans..." continued Atlas as the scene cut to a riot on Blackstone Island before returning to him. "... and I think they'd kill to be part of the winning team. How about you?" "Oh and before I go, two quick pieces of advice. I'd avoid hospitals if I were you, the smell of blood attracts my pets, and yes, there are more of them. And secondly, if you're working on a computer, I suggest saving your work because you're about to lose power right about ... -" As the city goes dark, the riots begin as there is chaos in the streets. A frown crosses his face as he sees her eyebrows scrunch. Stesha feels a bit of a breeze as Eli has made his way up to the counter. He dolls out a few bills and several coins before handing a piece of paper to Stesha. It contains a list of the flowers, their prices, the total and the tax. "Thanks for doing this. He hadn't really seen put anyone put that much effort into the way they looked let alone smelled. "Nah, it'd feel like I was getting the same gift for multiple people, which is kinda weird. Well I did it with a few of the guys up at college, but they're pretty darn one dimensional. Oh, one more question before I forget." added Eli.
