You've spent 18 points in Combat. Your Grapple bonus is +26. You still need to update your Knockback line. You've spent 13 points in Skills. As an aside, you do know you don't have to put all 4 ranks you get with a point into a single skill right? You could get like 3 ranks in Notice and 1 in Diplomacy for instance. You need to update your Device for the 105 points it has in it. Also for Super Senses format it like so: Super Senses 5 (Darkvision, Extended Hearing 2, Detect Magic)

Eli chuckled a bit at Stesha's joke and his mood lightened considerably. "Yeah, wounds from that battle are the hardest to heal, but god are there good war stories. Yeah, I'm done killing that analogy, pun not intended." smirked Eli. Eli leaned over to look at the new bouquets Stesha was pointing out. "I like the second one the best." Eli nodded when Stesha gave out more sage advice. "Yeah I probably should, but its not really in my personality though ya know? Like I see a problem that I can lend a hand in, and I have to lend a hand. I can't ignore it, ya know? Yeah, I'm a busy body and yeah I get all up in peoples' business, I guess I just can't see how people don't do that ya know? There are people in this city who don't really know their neighbors, and sometimes, that scares the hell out of me."

Or we can go the lazy route and change the title of the thread. Anywho, so far we've got: Colt Breakdown Sage JoAB Midnight II Rift Sarah Prescott Rycon Tank Wander Dr. Archeville Dead Head Dark Star Hellion Kid Cthulu Arrowhawk/Equinox Geckoman Ironclad Fulcrum Gossamer Grimlakin Slipstream Aiko Mongrel Angel The Curator Displacer Sparksmith That's a whopping 27 characters.

You break caps offensively. With a Strength bonus of +15 at PL 10, the best bonus to hit you could have is +5. You have +8. Your flat footed Defense is +2. If I were you, I'd drop one rank of Defense and buy Dodge Focus. Same net effect, but you shave a point. Denote that his Knockback is -1 without his Device. You've spent 2 points in Feats, not 4.

Eli weighed his options. "Let's go with I want to be your friend." said Eli making up his mind as he chewed on his bottom lip. "I figure I should probably make more of an effort to take it one step as a time and scale it back a bit right? Right now, I'm more focused on getting back into the frying pan than anything else, I don't really want to complicate matter more than I have to, and with my luck, it'll still blow up in my face." Eli slid a hand down his face. "Why's doing the right thing have to be such a pain in the butt?" moaned Eli.
-
"You have no idea." muttered Eli to himself. Eli cocked his head as he looked at the flowers. "I don't know, maybe a little more fru fru. Then again, I've seen too many sun flowers in my day, my beighbor was crazy about them. Conservative estimate is that she had 200 a them in her back yard. Didn't stop there neither, she decorated her house with them too." When Stesha asked where he had met her, Eli hesitated for a moment. "Not really. More of an extracurricular activity. I can't reall go into more detail than that."

"Heh. Guess I won't be needing this." says Dynamo as he absent mindedly throws the book over his shoulder and shakes Sage's hand in one fluid motion. And if Sage thought Dynamo talked a lot before... "Nope, I'd burst into flames before I got anywhere near top speed if that were the case. I think, not too sure on how friction works. I should probably read up that huh? And it's not really gabbing so much as using an assault rifle to shoot the breeze... Stupid saying I know, but hey it works. Not sure but I figured I'd just cover my based I didn't know sign language a moment ago so when you started making all the signals I'd figured 'd try it out. I did pretty well if I must say so myself. But hey no biggie." Dynamo tilts his body over to the side so that his head is parrell to the ground and hits his head like he's trying to get water out of his ear. Standing up to his full height he continues. "There we go, all gone. Can't sign no more. Well tht's not true, I know a few signs, but I ain't in a rap video and there's kids about so I shouldn't be doing any of right?" Dynamo changed his attention to Lukos. "So brosef, I gots two questions that are all important like so stays with me for a moment here alright. Okay, firsties, I gots to know what that whole *BZZZRRTT* thing was there." Dynamo punctuates the question by vibrating himself a high speed so it looks like Dynamo's at the end of a kaleidoscope. "And second like, why possessed you inta thinking that putting that dooflickus on yer face was a good idea? Srsly man, I feel like you're about to tell me who my father was." "And don't worry there broheem..." said Dynamo to Jack. "Ain't nobody getting lost up here. Trust me. I count it a good day when no tumble weeds come on outta my ears."

Dynamo holds his index finger out in front of him and then disappears. He comes back a moment later carrying a copy of "Sign Language for Dummies" which he rapidly thumbs through. He then rapidly signs a rather long string of signs, his hands moving like a blur. "Heh, sorry, forgot to slow down." He builds a small table out of the rubble and places the book on it. He speaks out loud as he signs. "My name's Dynamo. You don't have to be embarrassed, it just took me by surprise is all. What's your name?"

OmegaPlatinum - Sparksmith - PL11 Hero
Geez3r replied to OmegaPlatinum's topic in Archived Characters
Stats, good. Combat, In the Attack line, denote that you've got a +10 to hit with the Spark Control Array. Grapple is +11 (accurate doesn't count) For Defense, you can get rid of the "with Dodge Focus" bit. For Initiative, you can drop the Improved bit. M&M doesn't differentiate. Also, the point value wasn't updated. Saves, good, but a little low, I'd suggest throwing points their way when you get a chance. Skills, 24 ranks and 6pp. Feats, good. Powers, Bold the Spark Control Array Also, it's Spark Control 15, not 16. The Strike power has spent 22/30pp Also, denote your Impervious rank back in the Saves section. As a side note, you can purchase Impervious ranks beyond your ranks in Force Field to cover Toughness bonuses from other sources such as Constitution. Lastly, I'm counting 151 points spent. Double check your math. -
"Well I don't know if feminine would be exactly the right word to describe her with. She could probably break me in half." joked Dynamo, but only partially. "She seems really strong, tough and independent. I'd go almost as far to say that she's got a chip on her shoulder. Kinda the whole reason I got involved with her I guess. And yeah, I'm down at Freedom College, I'm done with class for the day. But I got to ask, why do people drive so far outta the way to look at the leaves changes colors, I never got that. You're the plant lady, got any insight for me?"

Dynamo tossed Lukos a bottle of water withing paying him too much attention, having only flickered for a moment to grab the drink. Dynamo was far more interested in the voice in his head. Dynamo's mind felt like a good ol' pick'em up truck with a rocket strapped to the bed playing a game of Red light, Green light. "So uh, lady person? Kind of a weird question here, but are y'all up in my mind right now? Cuz' that's kinda weird, not gonna lie." And then Cthulu broke through the ceiling. Dynamo put his arm around KC "Hey how ya doing there brosef. So listen up real quick, imma bou to lay some knowledge on ya all heavy like. See that dooflickus over there? Yeah that's what call a door. You should try them out sometime, I hear chick dig em. Where as that brosef..." said Dynamo as he pointed at the hole in the ceiling. "...is property damage. We got plenty a that already, we don't need no more capeesh?" Dynamo flickered again and the hole in the roof was repaired.

I see WW as PL 13-14 that can "gear up" to PL 15, but whatever. One gripe I do have: This is bad design IMO. Now I realize the trinity comes with a lot of baggage, but honestly I think its a sign of overkill and trying to stuff too much into the builds. That being said, I'd love to be proven wrong.
-
"Heh. Slow learner I guess." says Eli as he takes a seat looking over the book "Thanks." Definitely made the right choice coming here. though Eli as he brought one of the books over to him. Eli nearly went into his old habit of reading through the book at high speed, but caught himself just as he was about to turn the page. If Stesha was observant, she might have seen his arm flicker a bit. "I want to do this right is all. I'm all the way up from Maple Grove, New York originally. It's out a bit past Owego."
-
"Five hundred and no idea." says Eli without missing a beat. When Stesha gives him a look at the rather high figure, he dismisses it saying "Yeah, I messed up that bad." With an exhasperated sigh, he drags his hands over his face. "I'm way in over my head aren't I? I guess I'm just used to moving faster than most people. Like I came from a small town, everyone knew everyone else. Talking about anything wasn't a big deal because we all knew most of everything about one another already. There weren't many taboo topics ya know?"
-
"Yeah, that'd pretty much sum it up." said Eli as he ran his hand through his hair nervously. "So like I just met this girl Erin. And while she's a cutie, just looking at her I could tell there was something like really bothering her deep down. And I tried to get her to say what it was, so I could help her. She seemed like the saddest person I ever met, and a nice girl like that don't need to carry around that kind of baggage. But I think I just made things worse."
-
Yeah that'll hit because he's prone. And he's out like a light.
-
"Uh yeah hi, I was just - wow..." Eli stops mid sentence as his train of though derails as he catches sight of the shop keeper. Shaking his head and blushing a bit he starts back up again. "Uh yeah... So I was wondering if you had any flowers in the "I'm a complete asshat and even though I never, ever deserve to be in your good books ever again, I was hoping you'd take pity on me because I'm so incredibly sorry for everything I've done, yes even that" variety. I kinda need a lot of them." blurts out Eli in a single breath. He looks at Stesha with a honest to goodness puppy dog face.
-
Dynamo was beat up, but not physically this time. A while back he had met this really cool girl Erin, but she seemed to have a lot of problems and was suffering. Eli couldn't let that stand, and he tried to talk to her and make things better. Well, that didn't work out so well. He was pretty sure all he did was make things worse. He had tried walking up to her to talk to her about it, but always lost his nerve before he got anywhere close to her. He needed something to say sorry with, but not need to be in person to do it with. While trying to clear his head, Dynamo saw what might be the answer: flowers. Now sure, he knew precisely jack about flowers or how Erin might feel about flowers, but hey if it worked in the movies, it was worth a shot. There was a jingle as the door to Flowers by Nature as a new customer walked in, one who was most definitely not on the sidewalk a moment ago. He looked like a college age frat boy, spiky blond hair, popped collar and all. But he looked really nervous and out of place. "Uh yeah. Is this the place where I can buy flowers?" asked Eli immediately aware of how dumb he sounded.
-
It would only count for figuring out if Red Queen in flat footed or not. But Dynamo's attack hit either way. Also, while we're on the issue of surprise attacks, Dynamo will be considered flat footed against these incoming attacks.
-
Yes that does hit. Wesley has a +8 Defense or 18 total. That hits by a lot.
-
Dynamo walks over and plops Dead Head right back onto his shoulders. "There we go, good as new there brosef. Think y'all got a handle on things or are ya gonna need a staple gun up in here for the time being? I ain't exactly sure how this'll work out ya know? Movies cover how to kill zombies pretty darn good, but the keeping them alive bit gets left on the cutting room floor. It's blatant racism is what that is right there."

Okay, I know its been a long wait, but part 2 is nearly upon us. I'll post more details once the last thread is officially done, but for now, here's the new sign up. With the exception of MiTS: AEGIS, all of the old threads are concluded. Even if you don't sign up, you're assumed to be doing something during this time period, so feel free to use that as an opprotunity for News Posts or even a Solo thread. Also, you don't have to stick with your current groups, you can mix and match to the new locations. Again, details to follow.
