  1. House Toughness save vs Grim swipe DC 23 (1d20+11=18) Bruised and Stunned. 21 Grimlakin - Unharmed - HP x6 17 Jack of All Blades - Unharmed - HP x6 17 Colt - Unharmed - HP x8 17 House - Bruised x4, Stunned until 21 9 Sarah Prescott - Bruised x1 - HP x3 8 Fulcrum - Bruised x2 - HP x3 6 Brick - Bruised x3, Shaken, Staggered, Stunned until 5 5 Titan - Unharmed PS: the critter attacking grim is just fluff.
  2. Apparently, the creature found Avenger's arguments quite persuasive as it promptly stopped moving after the 3rd thwack of its head against the concrete. The force of the blows have absolutely sundered the station in every concievable way. It likely won't have a ceiling for much longer. The road above is probably going to collapse down into the station, however, fortune has smiled today and the citizens had mostly cleared out of here.
  3. House Toughness save vs Avenger pounding DC 28 (1d20+12=15) House goes sleepy time. Refocused Avenger - Unharmed - HP x6 20 Dead Head - Unharmed - HP x4 - Inside the Brick 14 Dark Star - Unharmed - HP x7 7 Titan - Bruised x1, Staggered, Unconscious. 6 Brick - Bruised x1 5 House - Bruised x2, Staggered, Unconscious 1 Phantom - Unharmed - HP x
  4. 29 Dynamo - Unharmed, HP x3 13 Marionette - Unharmed 12 Red Queen - Unharmed 7 Jaci o' Cups - Unharmed And now it's time for Dynamo to get his butt handed to him, take it away AA.
  5. Atlas paused for a moment "Raspberry lib balm." mutters a bemused Atlas as he shakes his head. "Oh, and ze smell of vhatever shampoo she uses." he adds in an after thought. "Say, do you zink zat after --" Atlas is cut off as the ship veers sharply. "Right, space battle going on outside." Atlas dons a pressure suit hurriedly, unsure if he needed one, but he didn't particularly want to find out the hard way either. "Ready vhen you are." he announces when he's fully geared up. "And by ze vay, zis has to be ze craziest zing I've ever done."
  6. It's random, but no die rolls. If it comes up, it comes up. GM's may sometimes tailor the story to the PC's involved which means exploiting the Drawbacks of PC's from time to time. You can also decide that in a particular thread, your drawbacks will come up. So a mix of the two really.
  7. Alright, it's been 2 weeks, we need to get this show on the road. AA, you're up.
  8. I'm counting 151 points spent.
  9. Sorry, thought I responded to this already. Titan Fort save vs Wesley Emotion Control DC 24 (1d20+16=20) ... poop. Well Titan's kind of high on tentacles atm, so looks like we're out of rounds. Assuming you can keep the titan pacified. So Sand through up a post and you can show Titan stopping his rampage.
  10. I'll have to make a note to set some money aside so I can actually get the books when they come out. Alright, besides my list of things they need to fix, what else are they going to change? If they go the UP route, which they should, what I hope they do is give a description of the Effects like they did in UP, and instead of a seperate powers section they have a bunch of preconstructed effects with like a 1 line decriptor. Example: Shaen brought it up in chat the other day, but there's a chance they might do away with Ability Scores in general and sever more ties with traditional D&D. Replace anything that ability scores would do with skills, feats and powers. Also, sorry if I'm butchering your idea Shaen, I heard this second hand. Also, I'm unsure if collapsing a ton of skills down into Science! would be a good thing or a bad thing, but the skills list IMO needs a bit of pruning.
  11. Dynamo is gonna be an over naive hero and try to talk them out of it. 24 Diplomacy with Skill Mastery.
  12. "Yeah next thing ya know some dude in brightly colored under roos is gonna come out of no where." called out a voice some 20ft away from the villainous duo. Dynamo was sitting on the hood of a car, his legs crossed and hands folded neatly on his lap. "Next thing ya know he'll be asking you turn yourselves over to the police so no one else gets hurt. Wait, guess that already happened. The name's Dynamo, and I'll be your pajama clad hero for the evening. But if you're not up for the whole villain shtick, maybe we can go out and get something to eat. The sun should just be going down over Paris right now, it's quite a site to behold." Dynamo stood up and walked towards the two villainous vixens, arms out stretched. "What do you say ladies? Want to call it a night?"
  13. Dude, I had the Vader "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" and everything. But if nothing else, I will geek out entirely and remake every character with the 3e rules. Like you don't understand, figuring out new RPG systems is my crack. My wish list of crap that needs fixing/ should be in 3e: Skills in general Construct rules that work A more intuitive Knockback and grapple system (I understand the current ones, but there's room for improvement) A way to make characters with DC and Toughness Tradeoffs more comparable to those with Attack and Defense Tradeoffs Pre-built NPC's that don't suck They need to do a drag and drop of UP for the powers section
  14. I don't think that's the case Shaen. I think they're just making a DC universe campaign setting. It's totally awesome that they'll use M&M rules, but don't think FCU and DCU are going to mix.
  15. Atlas IN SPAAAAACE! Dynamo Fast Heroes and Loose Women News Thread Fisticuffs 2: Dynamo vs JoAB Fisticuffs 2: Opening Credits Fisticuffs 2: Rycon vs Geckoman Interrupting Cow + 20 Questions GM - Credit for these posts will go to Dynamo Monsters? In the Streets?! MiTS - Southside MiTS - Greenbank MiTS - Midtown No Mutation without Representation
  16. Atlas stooped down and returned Gossamer's kiss, his arm snaking around her waist and pulling her into a gentle hug. Pulling away he said "" Releasing his hold on Gossamer, he lifted her hand and kissed it. "" Glad it was nearly impossible to tell when he was blushing, Atlas took off at a jog down towards the airlock. "Come on Jack, ve got an asteroid base to assault and a princess to save." he called out over his shoulder with a wild smile.
  17. Because we'll need it. And with that in mind: Dynamo Initiative (1d20+22=29) and he'll Skill Mastery a 27 on Notice.
  18. Eli had always liked running. It was one of the few things that was constant in just about every sport. It was a good thing too because he was doing a lot of it now and days. Patrolling the city was always his favorite part, even if he couldn't just give it the beans because there was so much crap in the way. There was always something to see in Freedom City. It was on his 83rd lap around this city that Eli has the bright idea of running to the top a building to get a good view of the place. He saw something way off in the distance, a bunch of police lights that looked like they were converging on an area. "OK dude. Be cool. Be cool. Tonight's your night. You're gonna show em all. Let's do this!" And Dynamo was off, racing towards the scene of the disturbance.
  19. The freaky frankenstien monster looked quizzically over his shoulder as he stopped trying to heft up a rather large crane/ building looking thing and stood up to his full height to better gawk at his visitors. After a moment it finally appeared that a few brain cells rubbed together and the creature gave a great roar at the intruders. It tried to swat Fulcrum out of midair, but did little other than ruffle her hair as its deformed hand went sailing past her.
  20. 21 Grimlakin - Unharmed - HP x6 17 Jack of All Blades - Unharmed - HP x6 17 Colt - Unharmed - HP x8 17 House - Bruised x3 9 Sarah Prescott - Bruised x1 - HP x3 8 Fulcrum - Bruised x2 - HP x3 6 Brick - Bruised x3, Shaken, Staggered, Stunned until 5 5 Titan - Unharmed Well know that he has targets, the Titan is going to take a swing at one of them. Fulcrum's higher in the air and therefore easier to hit (in the creature's mind). Titan Attack roll vs Fulcrum, All Out Attack 5 DC 31 Toughness (1d20+11=17) Poop. And it doesn't trigger the AoE attacks either because Fulcrum's Large size.
  21. The problem I see is that there really isn't a good match up else where. MA and Fulcrum are pretty much the only ones that can fly, so they have to fight. Lukos vs Avenger & Wander vs Dead Head has to happen. Rycon and Geckoman are similarly matched. We have the following remaining Gossamer vs Carbon Divine vs Wesley Jack of All Blades vs Dynamo Wesley's the only one left that's close in PL to Divine that has a DC and Toughness tradeoff.
  22. Unless it turns out to be good. In which case: YAY
  23. Basically, we expect you to hit caps in some scenario, but that doesn't mean you have to hit caps all the time. Hitting caps with just 1 weapon, or only in melee or only in ranged is pretty standard here. The character optimization thread has quite a few tips on how to make a character optimized and yet not be broken. If you want to see how far you can dial the optimization up, take a gander at the characters played by the Refs. Generally speaking, we have a better handle on the rules than the player base and are therefore able to make our characters in the most efficient manner.
  24. Titan Toughness save vs Arrowhawk Blunt arrow DC 26 (1d20+14=31) Saved. Arrowhawk - Unharmed - HP x3 Wesley - Unharmed - HP x5 Titan - Bruised x2, Injured x1, Stunned Until Carbon's next turn Mongrel Angel - Unharmed - HP x6 Brick - Bruised x1, Unconscious Midnight - Unharmed - HP x3 Carbon - Unharmed - Hp x3 House - Unconscious Freedom Angel - Unharmed - HP x5 Go ahead and post whenever you're ready Sand, I'm not going to make a post saying "plink".
