Crime league member. May or not be the same person from way back in ancient Greece. Really hates men, and love in general. Powerful and bitter mage.

Atlas squirmed a bit as Moira climbed her way up his back. He had offered to simply pick her up, but protested saying something to the effect that it would be more of an adventure to do it this way. But after a few near falls and at least one misplaced foot to the face, Moira was in position. She jammed the coal and carrot into place on the snowman's head. Atlas passed up the top hat to Moira while averting his eyes, and it completed the snowman. Not waiting for a complaint this time, Atlas plucked Moira off his shoulders and set her down on the ground next to him. Firstly, he didn't want her treading all over him again, this time with gravity aiding her, and secondly, it gave him an excuse to keep his arm around her while they took a few steps back to admire their finished handiwork. That moment however would be far too brief, for there was someone watching them from afar. "Ah young love... how entirely delusional. This isn't romance, this isn't a magical time of the year; its when a guy will sink his teeth into you, take everything he wants from you and then leave you the instant he has the slightest whim. The only thing that comes from such a union is pain. It's a harsh lesson, but one you should learn before it's too late." Medea speaks words of Eldrich power and the snow man begins to stir...

To get it out of the way: Initiative (1d20+0=18)

There was a buzz in the arena as the announcer stepped into the ring for a third and final time. The last match had been a real pulse-pounder, but after sizing up the competitors for this bout, this match looked like it was going to be a good old fashioned slug fest. "Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased to announce that it is now time for our main event. We would like to take a moment to thank the good people at Astro Labs for reinforcing this ring in order to accommodate our next fighters. So hold onto your seats for what can truthfully be called the biggest boxing match ever seen. Our first competitor is now making her way to the ring. The Majestic Madam. The Caped Crusader. The Glamorous Giantess. Here for you this very evening, I give you FUUUUULLLLLL-CRUUUUUUUUMMMM!!! And her opponent: The Hammer and Sickle of Justice. The Red Russian Rampage. The Gigaton Guardian. I give you, the one, the only: ATLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASSSS!!!" The roar of the crowd practically shakes the building.

Tempest had seen the devices, but didn't know what they were, but when the rest of the group came to a halt, he followed their lead, assuming they knew something he did not. He listened intently to the conversation that followed. "Please disable these devices so that we may continue." after he had gotten the gist.
-
Atlas had started to distance himself from the others. He was trying to get him game face on for the match. He still wasn't sure on how he should be going about doing this. Normally he just punched things until they stopped moving around so much and he was pretty sure he didn't want to employ that tactic here. One reason being that he wasn't entirely sure it would work. He absent mindedly thanks Fulcrum for the new bottle of water, but it was clear his mind was elsewhere. He was lacing up his blue gloves before the match, one of the match officials helping him out.

<.< >.> <.< Shush. Have at it then.

Well taking a 20 means trying and failing multiple times, so probably not something you want to do with the alarm system. And no, shooting a high speed bullet at the motion sensors is likely to get noticed, the gun shots themselves aside.
-
It was DC 20, so everyone makes it. There seems to be motion sensor like devices scattered throughout the trees, as you passed the check, you can stop before you enter within range. You also notice that the ground here appears to be disturbed, and one boulder resting against the mountain side in particular seems to have been moved several times. So you can take the time to hopefully disarm the motion sensors (Disable Device) or just say screw it and charge.

Point is: Grim's awake but still quite tired and her boyfriend is comforting her. The rules get bent for the mushy stuff. :)
-
DS can heal the unconscious with his healing. But Grim still be exhausted. Leadership normally doesn't work for exhausted, but for story purposes I'll allow it. Grim would still be fatigued though.

"NO!" roared Atlas as the Iron Golem charged Divine. Atlas was too slow to stop the Golem's assault on Moira, but he wasn't too slow to stop it from hurting anyone else. Atlas scooped Grimlakin out of the way, and took the brunt of the Golem's attack himself. The ground splintered against the force of the assualt, and it looked like Atlas was laid low by the attack. But no! He had recoiled so that the impact would be less on Divine. Before the Golem could cause any more damage, Altas needed to end it, and end it now. Atlas cocked back his fist, his suit tearing to shreds as his muscles tensed, and he let the Golem have it right in the chops. But Atlas wasn't done yet, he yanked the Golem back to him and nearly ripped its arm off before it let go of Divine. Atlas wrestled with the creature, each jockeying for position before Atlas got a definitive upper hand. "Hey @#$%^**~!" roared Atlas to Arcanix as he lifted the Golem clear off the ground and over his head. "I'm done playing vith your little toy! Now I'm coming for YOU!" And Atlas hurled the Golem right back at Arcanix with all the strength he could muster.

Okay, Atlas is going to Interpose for Grim, and spend one of his Hero points to use Ultimate Toughness and get a 36, so he saves against the damage. 3 Hero Points remaining. Then Atlas will use All Out Attack 5, going for a melee attack on the Golem. Melee Attack roll vs Iron Golem, All Out Attack 5 (1d20+11=19) I'm going to assume that hits. It faces Atlas' base save of DC 31 Toughness. I will then use Improved Grab to start a grapple with the Golem with the intent of breaking its hold on Moira. Grapple check vs Golem (1d20+43=63) Natural 20! Okay, so Divine is free of the grapple. ------------------------------------------------- Now, onto the gray area that is the grapple rules. If, after breaking the hold, Atlas and the Golem are considered to be grappling, it looks like Atlas can use the Throw action as a Move Action to finish out his turn. If so, then Atlas would like to return the Golem to sender  Thrown Golem Attack vs Arcanix (1d20+8=25) If not, then Atlas doesn't really have much to do with his remaining move action. Also, Atlas will again use Interpose on the first attack targeted against an adjacent ally, though I've got a feeling there may be a few more targeted at Atlas this round IC will be up in a minute

And roll another Notice check or a Search check.

"Heh, big hats indeed." When Moira next turned around, he took off his hat and plopped it on Moira's head. The scene was reminiscent of a little kid trying on the biggest baseball helmet in the store and it promptly falling over their eye lids. After a bit more work, and many more shenanigans, their snowman was nearly done. The basic form was complete anyways; they just needed to do the finishing touches to make it complete. "Ve make a pretty good team." said Atlas standing back and admiring their handiwork.

Realizing that a change of tactic was in order, the goons split up, and charge at Tempest from different angles. However, due to the speed of their manuever only one was able to touch Tempest and it was a glancing blow at best. The goons then quickly disappeared as they peeled off in different directions away from Tempest. They were simply too fast for Tempest to pursue. Rather than get lead into what was likely going to be another ambush, he decided to hold his ground. "Whatever manner of creature these are, if they insist upon attacking me, I shall have no choice but to defend myself." His hands began to swirl as he concentrated energy in his hands, waiting for the return of his attackers.
-
Okay, the goons are going to be relatively smart here and change tactics a little. They're going to swim out to him, punch him in the face using Combined Attack, then use Move-by Action to run away, using their superior speed to their advantage. Goon Melee Attacks vs DEF 18, DC 26 (1d20+9=10, 1d20+9=20, 1d20+9=13) Apparently, these goons aren't the catch of the day. Toughness save DC 26 (1d20+16=36) Yeah... definitely not. And then the goons dash off about 3000 ft or so in opposite directions. Tempest can't even get within firing range of any of them. Tempest is going to ready an action to use his Auto-fire Blast on the first one to come in range.

Interesting. Malice is pretty much a definitive Red Lantern. Nearly everything he does is driven by his desire to get revenge and destroy anything he deems to be wrong. However, I think you can make an argument for him being Sinestro Corps; both because of the fear he has (the fear that he is inferior to the supers and the fear of losing those close to him) and the fear he instills in others. Malice would use the ring to surround himself in some giant, bloody mechnical beast. He'd use the ring to add a few dozen more barrels to his guns, or use their corrosive blood as ammunition, so he'd burn through his targets rather than simply blast them. Atlas is probably Indigo. I've shown him to be understanding and compassionate (hopefully). And he's been described as a gentle giant before, so hopefully it fits. He'd probably use his new found powers mostly just to fly, as I've mentioned that Atlas wishes he could fly before. He'd use his ring to help other more than he would himself. Setting up barriers to protect them and such. I can't think of anything for Tempest or Jester. The former has no personality, and for the latter there's no crazy ring.

"It is a statement I have heard the humans use before. I thought it would be a good time to use the phrase, clearly I was mistaken. I have been attempting to use more of the human sayings in my speech patterns Colt human. Yes, that movie appears to be adequate. It may also serve to explain the concept of a miracle which I have also been curious of."

Atlas was one of the first of the many to deliver a standing ovation to the two competitors. His thunderous applause being loud enough to practically be heard over the rest of the crowd. After nearly a minute of non-stop applause, Atlas started a chant. "GRIM. JACK. GRIM. JACK." It built slowly until the whole stadium was roaring "GRIM. JACK. GRIM. JACK." It cemented the fact in everyone's mind that they had just witnessed a battle between equals.
-
Unless I'm mistaken, so far in our bouts, each competitor has only received 1 bruise before being knocked out and/or winning. Talk about glass jaws, yeesh. Ok, so bit of RP after the last match before we have our heavyweight bout. Now I need to figure out a bunch of campy titles for Atlas and Fulcrum.
-
"No. Ze lady asked nicely. If she asked so nicely, ve vould have a show right now." corrected Atlas. "If you are going to use ze English language, you should be using it properly." after the pause that followed "...Vat!? You got somezing to say?"
-
Atlas stopped dead. OK.... Sucks to be me. How someone had managed to sneak all of this under Freedom was beyond him, but he did know that whoever managed to do this was not someone to be trifled with. Maybe it was the master those cultists had tried to summon? Atlas stood in the door way, not sure of what to do and pretty sure he didn't want to double back either.
-
Samael reached across the table and flicked Colt in the arm. "Should have zought zat one out some more." says Atlas in mock anger. "Could have gotten yourself a good show vith zat." said Samael with a wink to Grim.
