Atlas joined the other bachelors on the dance floor, taking his spot near the back, because seriously; why would he have to stand anywhere near the front? He noticed Doctor Archeville talking to one of the other bachelors. He looked familiar, but he couldn't place the face. He was probably some mutual acquaintance. Their comments did however make him scan the crowd for the woman who caught the boquet. Not really hard to spot someone with green hair at a Chinese wedding. Yeah, this one's going to messy. mused Atlas.

"" shouts Atlas in Russian as he flips over his Kings. He doubted his luck would hold out against the cowboy, but hey, celebrate victories while you've got them. "Zere, zere." said Atlas comfortingly. "I vill make sure to give zem a nice home. Eizer zat or blow it on booze, you never know. In Soviet Russia, money spends you." Atlas held up his hands. "Before ze next hand, zere is somezing important ze must do." He digs in his bag for a moment, and pulls out a very small bottle of vodka, the tippy top shelf stuff. 'Ve must share a drink in honor of a fallen comrade."

Done and done.

Whoopsie. Knew I left something out. The suit is magical in nature, chaos magic to be specific. Thanks durf.

Atlas smiled at Moira's youthful exuberance as she went about firming up his big snowball. "I don't know." said Atlas pausing for a second. "Usually I just make a hump as big as I can before I get too tired to do anyzing more. But, I pounded out ze first hump vithout even zinking about it. Ve could be out here making dozens and dozens of humps all afternoon." Atlas paused for a moment to think. "Okay. How about ve make 2 big humps before ve finish off ze head, and zen ve repeat until ve used up all ze vhite stuff da?"

This was truly puzzling. "But why then is being called "ignorant" an insult for the rest of the year. If I were to say that all of the female humans were inferior to the male humans, and that their primary location should be in the kitchen, I would be called ignorant. Furthermore, this moniker would be meant in a derogatory fashion. Could I not retort that I was merely being ignorant for the sake of the Christmas Spirit? And would my ignorance therefore not be celebrated?"
-
"But what about the next day. None of their problems went away. The day after Christmas, all of those problems will still be there to greet them, there was no resolution to any of their problems. The Christmas Spirit condition is nothing more than a glorified delusion. It is a pain killer, not a problem solver. The humans i the movie choose to remain ignorant of their problems. Is ignorance really something the humans celebrate?"

"Alright, vat do you have?" says Atlas as he leans forward, and matches her bet. It wasn't about the money any more, it had been a nice night, and it was a good time to go for broke. Beside he had a good hand at this point. That, and he couldn't keep his wits about him long enough to pay much attention. If this kept up his was going to lose all his chips anyways.

"I don't get it." replied Tempest, as he cocked his head to the side. "Don't humans usually watch movies for enjoyment? What was enjoyable about that movie? What I saw in that movie was nothing but a collection of scenes meant to invoke the condition of depression. I thought the holidays were meant to be a time of joy and celebration."

Stats, please put the modifiers next to the stats. Powers, Jinx is over budget. Probability control is ordinarily personal range, so it must be bought up to touch, then ranged, then perception for a (+3) modifier. As is, it costs 70pp. Accidents breaks caps, Perception Range effects are bound to a maximum of PL. Likewise, general area of effect attacks are also bound by PL, they also require no attack roll. Deflect breaks caps. Deflect is capped at whatever your defense bonus is, in this case 10. In addition, All Attacks costs 3pp/rank, and the Action Extra in this case is +2 because you have to buy Move Action and then Free Action. This costs 5pp/rank, and at 15 ranks, costs 75pp. Otherwise, it looks good.

Looks good to me, Approved. One more and you can start playing.

Congrats to you and Electra, AA

*brain leaks out onto the floor* I hate you people so much. But yes, if you were to use Stealth and beat Grim's notice check, you would be concealed from her. Now staying concealed while attacking her would be quite a feat, roaring crowd or no.

"I take it from ze way you keep peeking under zere you see somezing you like." comments Atlas, trying to play it cool. Internally however, there's a bit of a struggle. "OK. OK. Dude, you have to focus here. Concentrate. Concentrate... Not on her! Think manly thoughts. Ok. We got cards. Cards are good. Poker. Better, better. We got good food. And we got booze. And babes. Dammit! Back to square one. Somehow, Atlas got enough brain cells to work in unison long enough for Atlas to call.

Not a clue in the world. Never used Flickr before. I tend to use Imageshack. Also, we have a Wiki for the site (your login & password is the same there as here). You could upload the image there, and then post it here. I believe the maximum allowable width of an image on the forums (the wiki has no such limit, I think) is either 600 or 900 pixels, but I'm not entirely sure. Not sure if you've ever used BBC code before you need to input the image as follows: [ img ] The url of the image [ /img ] only, without any of the spaces. Hope that helps.

You have Improved Intiative 6 (3 ranks of the feat normally, and 3 from your Enhanced Feats). Improved Initiative gives you a +4 bonus per rank, 4 times 6 is 24. Your Dex mod is +3, so combined that is +27.
-
And that should be everything.

Welcome to the boards! I hope you enjoy our time with us. Let's get straight down to it. Stats, good. Combat: I would like it if you were to break your bonuses out to what you have enhanced and what you have normally, incase your powers are ever nullified. Ie: Attack +6, Melee +10, Melee +12 (with powers) In addition, your Grapple modifier should be +12. Knockback should be as follows: -6, -2 without costume, -1 without costume & flat footed It is calculated as: -1 x (your Impervious rank + 1/2 remaining toughness score) with some miscellaneous modifiers you don't have to worry about. Your Initiative should also be +27. Which is quite a large number btw. Saves, good. Though I would like you point out that Impervious 4 won't stop much. You can get as much Impervious equal to the lower of your PL or your Toughness save. I'm fine with where it is, I'm just informing you of your options. Skills, please list them in Alphabetical order and one under neath another. See one of my character sheets (located in my singature for details). Also, 72 ranks costs 18 points, not 16. Feats, please put this in Alphabetical order as well, and one underneath another. List the details of your equipment in a quote box beneath your Feat section. Also, for quick reference, include another quote box with your Enhanded Feats here as well. Powers, it is customary to but Device power in a quote box, but otherwise good. Otherwise it looks good, if not a little awkward. Not awkward in the sense of the build, but rather if you look a little further down on the Character Bank, you'll see the character sheet for Jester. My clown villain turned hero, they're not really alike though, other wise I'd have to break your knee-caps So make those few changes and you'll be on your way. Also, I recommend visiting the Chat room, most of us hang out there and shoot the breeze.

I vote Jack gets a HP for that. Any objections?

"You zink you vould be relaxed already, vat vith ze nap you took just now." says Atlas as he retakes his seat next to Colt. He was just hoping that these comments weren't going to come back and bite him, as his match with Fulcrum could turn out less than wonderful for him. He had never seen her fight, and was just hoping he wasn't terribly out classed.
-
"Oh I have a hammer down zere, don't you vorry." retorted Atlas micheviously. Ordinarily, Atlas wouldn't have said anything like that, but for some reason, he just wanted, no, needed to, when Grim got that look in her eye. He was so distracted that he put in quite a few more chips than he wanted to, but didn't notice until it was too late. Thankfully he still had his pocket kings.

The announcer makes his way back into the ring, as the match comes to a close and the competitors exit the ring. "And as expected of Freedom's heroes, the opening match alone was enough to get everyone in this capacity crowd to their feet! Let's give another big round of applause to our great competitors: Ace Danger and Colt. Let's not waste any time here folks, our next match is about to begin! Our next competitor is now heading to the ring, and she has already made her presence known here this evening. The Pixie Pugilist. The Feisty Fae. The Charming Changeling. For your viewing pleasure, I present to you GRRRIIIMLAAAKIN!!!!" And prepare to buckle your swash ladies and gentlemen because her competitor is on his way to the ring! The Waggish Warrior of the West End. The Fabulous Fencer! The Scandalous Swashbuckler. I am proud to present, JACK OF ALL BLAAAAADES!!!!" The crowd once again erupts.

"Doing quite vell for myself Doctor. And I trust your own endevours are going vell." Atlas made a bit of small talk with the Doctor. Atlas was interest to know how the Doc was faring, even if he didn't understand every third word the good Doctor said. Atlas had to snicker at that. "I doubt it. Jack seems to be quite territorial. I could feel his eyes on ze back of my head ze entire time I vas dancing vith her. But here's hoping." finished Atlas as he raised his glass. He chuckled at John's comment "Yeah, vat vith my cat-like reflexes, and my natural grace, it vill be quite easy." Atlas made a gesture as if he were trying to swat an imaginary fly out of the air, and failing many times.

Alrighty then. Also durf, the "jab" comment was because Atlas called Ace "son". It was a joke. Because Ace is older than Atlas. And a joke can be called a jab, which adds another layer of humor to this boxing related thread. *is done killing the joke*

"Bullets, my one veakness! How did you know?" said Atlas, clearly terrified of being shot. It's certainly never happened to him before. No sir. "Oh yes. Zis vas quite fun. Ve should do zis as often as our vallets allow da?" Atlas's statement was influence a bit by the pair of kings he currently had. His first good hand in 15 minutes.
