  1. "Okay, okay, real enough." says Atlas as he nearly brings the tunnel down on himself. He caught sight of a trickle of water. Got to go somewhere... mused Atlas as he decided to follow the water. He dug his left pointer finger into the wall as he went, marking where he had been in case he double backed on himself. He made the occasional arrow too so he would know what direction he had gone in as well. He would have asked the cultcicles if they knew where they were, but they were still encased in ice.
  2. Is it bad that I want to see Grim turn Jack inside out in their bout? Speaking of, are you guys fine with being up next, or do you want the heavy weights to go at it first?
  3. "OOOOOooooohhhhhhh." said Atlas wincing as Colt took it on the chin. "He's going to feel that one in the morning." Atlas got up and walked to the ring, shaking his head at the antics of Jack and Fulcrum. "You're going to enjoy vatching Grim pick him apart aren't you?" muttered Atlas quietly as he passed by Fulcrum. Figuring the loser was getting enough attention, Atlas headed over to congratulate Ace. "Heck of a fight out zere son." said Atlas, taking his own jab at the hero, and holding out his hand for a high - five.
  4. Without Selective you would heal everything in the area, enemies included.
  5. The following segment is mostly for the lulz Survival Check to Navigate (1d20+7=14) Maybe? *shrug* ------------------------- I doubt it matters, but in case it does, Atlas is going to damage an inanimate (hopefully) object as a full round action. This forces a DC 47 Toughness save (15 Base, 16 Str DC, 11 Super-Strength, 5 Power Attack). The item in question is assumed to roll a 5. Objects also get to increase their damage threshold if they are exceptionally thick, increasing the necessary threshold by 1 for every step it moves up the Progression table (ie: fail by 11 to be disabled if it is 2 inches thick, 12 for 5 inches thick, etc). Breaking it out further: 47 -10 (to be disabled, and have a hole punched through it) -5 (from roll) -20 (assumed Objects Toughness save, equal to a "super-alloy" such as Impervium) 12 steps up on the Progression table, or 10,000 inches ~ 833 ft So Atlas punches through anything less than 800ft of Impervium... or walls of Plot.
  6. Atlas wades into the tunnel after the cultists. He finds them alright, but then the tunnel dims. Atlas blinks a few times, figuring it was just a trick of the eyes. He picks up the cultists so that they can be rounded up and arrested, and heads back the way he came. Then he finally notices something weird going on. The tunnel isn't going the way it should be. Atlas frowns for a moment as he looks down the false tunnel. "Marco!" he calls out, not really expecting a response. Atlas looks at the section of wall where he was sure the tunnel previously went, but found it to appear quite solid. They knew magic, so maybe this is some sort of trick? Atlas put the cultists down, cocked his fist and bashed the wall, seeing if it was really there, and if there was anything on the other side.
  7. On a completely unrelated note, I've nearly finished Malice's updated build. :awesome:
  8. Yes, maintaining a grapple is a standard action. If Colt is dazed, he can take no actions and therefore cannot maintain the grapple.
  9. Notice Check (1d20+9=21)
  10. Phooey. I was hoping I could use Atlas' trophy as a bowling ball. Ah well. Atlas has a 35' movement speed, and then I'll use Freeze Breath down one of the tunnels. 110 ft cone. DC 21 Reflex save.
  11. Atlas absent-mindedly tossed the head of the creature over his shoulder. He then went after one of the remaining groups of cultists. Unfortunately, the fact that they were underground limited his leaping options quite a bit, so he had to do after them on foot. After giving a small chase, Atlas felt that it would be much more prudent if he could slow them down because he wasn't going to get any faster. He took a deep breath and unleashed a blast of frost from deep within himself.
  12. Ooooohhhhh. That explains everything. The story lines get so mangled because Cthulu's been munching on them from the margins. It's so simple now.
  13. Does Atlas have line of sight to one of the fleeing groups of cultists currently?
  14. "OK. So maybe ve kill zree or four hours." joked Atlas, grinning while sticking his tongue out as he looked at the small snow ball. "Time vell spent zough." added Atlas. He went back to pushing his own snow ball, which was soon nearly 5ft across, and Atlas still had no difficulty pushing the ball around. However, it was getting a little lop sided so Atlas took a moment to smooth everything out with his hands, trying to get the ball to stay as round as possible. He went about his task quickly and expertly. This was clearly not the first snowman he had made in his day.
  15. Atlas reached up to Jack's head, placing his thumb under Jack's chin and his pointer finger on top of Jack's head. "Hush." said Atlas cracking another grin. "Zey are talking about one of two zings. They are eizer trying to put zeir heads togezer to determine vat ze rules are for boxing, or zey are vondering how much of zis Dark Star vill let zem get avay vith." Replies Atlas to Fulcrum, while removing his hand from Jack's cranium. Atlas folds his arms and frowns a little bit, before adding this after thought. "Zat or zey are planning a trip to a certain mountain."
  16. "You! Yes, you! You are dead!" shouts Atlas looking at Colt. He lets the threat hang in the air for a moment before he holds up his hand, looking through it at Colt. He then mock squishes Colt's head between his two fingers. Atlas repeats the motion a few times while chuckling. He grabs the deck of cards and begins dealing out the next hand. Got to win some money back here... mused Atlas as he finished dealing.
  17. Atlas parted ways with Taylor's aunt at the end of the dance. Two dances and no broken toes. Things were going good. Too good. It was time for hard mode. Atlas made his way over to bar. Someone needed to wind up with a lampshade on their head by the end of this little shindig, and if no one else was going to do it, then Atlas had to take one for the team. ... Okay, he just wanted a drink and to shoot the breeze with Doc, but the first story was a lot more entertaining. "Vhy hello zere Doctor. And hello again John." said Atlas as he got to the bar again and got another drink.
  18. "Punch him!" roared Atlas, cupping his hands unnecessarily, his baritone bellow carrying nicely through the crowd. Atlas paused for a moment. "...In the face!" Another pause. "...Vith your fist!" "No zank you. I'll take my chances vith ze sane one." chuckled Atlas to Jack. Altas looked like he was about to say something else to Jack, but then stopped and looked at Jack critically. "Vait. How long have you been up zere?"
  19. Got to love all these trips and kicks in a Boxing match :awesome:
  20. "In Soviet Russia, vorld melts you!" cackles Atlas. He takes one of the empty glasses around his side of the table, and places it under Grim's hand. "Zere we go. Easy clean up. Zough I go to admit. You got to take care of zat. If zat glass stays zere, not guarantee I von't drink it." says Atlas laughing, which does little to alleviate the heebie jeebies brought about by that statement.
  21. "Your piloting technique is most unique Geckoman human. When you have finished the landing procedure, I would appreciate it if you could tell me where you learned to pilot this vehicle." states Tempest calmly. Apparently, this is how you are supposed to fly in Tempest land. It must be a wonderful place where truly ignorance is bliss. "There appears to be a clearing just over that ridge to the right of our current destination. I believe that would be a suitable place to land."
  22. No overt offensive super powers. Flying is looked down upon a little. Then modify to suit the individual bouts. When I initially proposed the idea, I thought we had a lot more fisticuff adept people on the boards. Colt and Ace have agreed no weapons and possibly no armor as well.
  23. Waiting on our fearless pilot here.
  24. I missed it, what movie did we actually watch?
  25. I believe our referee has the honor of starting the match.
