Tempest pushed the button in the correct order. The whole process took nearly 5 minutes, not because Tempest was bad at following the instructions or anything, but he merely needed to know the rational behind the naming process for each and every single button and why they needed to be pressed in this particular sequence. He also wished to know if any of the button's names were derived from any other religions. Finally however, they were watching the Christmas movie.

Altas waved at Dr. Archeville as he passed and dropped Taylor off with James. "Take care." Atlas started to head back to the bar, when he noticed something about the crowd. They didn't seem to be scared of him anymore. Dancing with Taylor sort of gave Taylor's personal seal of approval for Atlas being there. So Atlas wasn't simply a guy in the room, but rather a person who was supposed to be there. Thanks Taylor. thought Atlas as he danced with one of Taylor's aunts.

"Vorking on IT!" roared Atlas in response. He flung the creature around, slamming it to the ground with a loud smack. He planted himself on the shoulders of the creature, grabbed a hold of the creature's head and did his level best to yank it off its neck. He hoped his teammates would hurry up, he didn't know how much longer he could hold the creature back.

"Of course I do." said Tempest as he picked up the remote. He pointed it at the TV for a moment while he looked for the correct button. "I have no idea how this technology works." Amended Tempest realizing he did not know the function of any of these buttons. He held out the remote to Colt "Perhaps I should let you operate the machinery."

Atlas stopped a few feet before walking into the arena, steeling himself for what was to come. When he finally walked out into the arena proper, he was glad he did so or he might have just passed out. He knew this was a big event, but good gawd that was a lot of people. He froze for a moment, but when he saw Fulcrum playing with the children, he cracked a smile and regained his composure. Shaking his head, he got roped into fussing with the orphans. Throughout the whole affair he kept laughing to himself. He had done these poses so many times in mock now it was starting to become his MO. "Somezing bigger zan ourselves." replied Atlas sagely as he took his seat next to Fulcrum.

Switching the grapple form from "pin" to "damage" so DC 30 (31 if we use my most recent edits) Toughness to the creature automatically. I'll roll my opposed grapple in advance assuming the creature tries to escape on its turn. Opposed Grapple (1d20+36=47)

Atlas continues his assault on the giant zombie. He lifts the patchwork creature high above his head before slamming it back to the ground over and over again, battering every inch of the creature he can get his mits on and throwing the creature around as it were a rag doll. Ordinarily Atlas wouldn't fight like this, but zombies merited that extra special touch of brutality to bring down.

If Tempest was startled he didn't show it, or at least not how any human would show it. Instead he just sat there, still as the grave for a few moments. Just staring. And not staring at anything or anyone, he just looked at whatever he had been looking at when the DVD was taken from his hand. "Very well Colt human. We shall watch the movie that you picked out rather than the one I picked out, which was clearly inferior." said Tempest... sincerely?

"Zat I can m'lady." said Atlas bowing while doing his best impersonation (read: terrible) of a British butler. He escorted her over to James "Until ve meet again; which shouldn't be for several days at ze earliest." Atlas dropped his voice and crouched down low before softly adding "You and Jack should be enjoying each others company a lot over ze next few days." with a mischievous grin on his face. Atlas then took his leave to reclaim his lost spot at the bar.

Time to make my edits Atlas An error was pointed out to me that his Super-Strength Array should cost 29pp, not 27pp. But for reasons unknown, I was charged an extra point in the Powers section, so I'm only 1 point in the hole, and I'll use Atlas' first point to rectify that. Short version: SS Array costs 29 pp, Powers costs 59 pp. I'll then increase his Strength score to 34 with the 2 remaining points. Also, there are a few other errors on the sheet resulting from the fact that Altas no longer has his Alternate Form. Do you have a Last Will and Testament? No. Miscellaneous What would you like to be remembered for after your death? For my connection with the humans. What kind of threat do you present to the public? I do not pose any at all. If your features were to be destroyed beyond recognition, is there any other way of identifying your body? I am the only one composed of different elements. As a player, if you could, what advice would you give your character? Speak as if he/she were sitting right here in front of you. Use proper tone so they might heed your advice... Dude, use proper English.

"I suppose zat vould happen." said Atlas as he considered for a moment as he continued to dance to the slow beat. "But zen again. I find zat ze icing is ze best part of ze cake, so maybe it is better it vorked out zis vay? Get your money's vorth da?" mused Atlas with a half shrug. "But enough of questioning it. It vorked itself out and you two crazy kids are going to be happy togezer, I know it." he gave Talyor a little squeeze at the last words and looked at her with a sincere heart warming smile.

And nearly soon enough, the mountain range comes into view. Tempest notices it first, but makes no mention of it other than adjusting the path of the clouds slightly. The Fulcrum and Colt noticed it nearly one after another. All of the evergreen trees on the side of one of the mountains are a much lighter shade than those in the surrounding area. Almost as if they weren't getting enough nutrition. Also, Fulcrum's Cosmic Awareness leads her to believe that the mountain seems to be unraveling and falling in on itself. Colt feels a sensation in his stomach similar to what he felt when he first arrived on Earth. He doesn't know what it is or means, only that he's felt it before. Maybe Geckoman's driving reminds him of his Interstellar Cycle careening helplessly through the star system and nearly becoming a flaming smear on some back water world, maybe its a weird connection to cosmic irregularities, or maybe its just gas. Who knows? Geckoman feels a bit off, like he's got a mild fever, but can't pinpoint the source.

"Man dis ain't right man. How you gonna take a grown ass man down to the po-lice like dis man? Ain't cho got books to buy or something? Don't want to get your girlie something nice for her birthday? Or get yourself a nice car to get the girl in the first place man. Seriously man, you got to think ahead. See da big picture man. Jeez, kids these days. Ain't got no respect. And I'll tell you another thing!..." It's like that. The WHOLE. WAY. BACK.

Atlas was rather surprised to see Taylor making her way over to the bar. "I'd be honored. I varn you zough, I am not ze best of dancers." replied Atlas with a half-shrug before offering his arm to Taylor and escorting her back to the dance floor. Atlas took a little longer than usual to get "set up" once they were on the floor, the fact that his partner was about 4ft shorter than him obviously throwing him off. After a moment though, he got adjusted and started slowly rotating in place, his hands clasped on the small of Taylor's back, though his hands were bis enough to reach close to her shoulder blades, his grip thankfully quite gentle. "Is it everyzing you zough it vould be?" asked Atlas softly.

After the heroes all got geared up and got their game faces on, it was time to head out into the arena proper. Now, most of the heroes had operated in the public eye before, but the amount of people crammed into the Liberty Dome was flat out insane. If the crowd was screaming any more, there would be a breeze indoors. There were hundreds, if not thousands of camera flashes going off every second. It was scary, and yet very exhilarating. There were seats and tables around the ring for the event officials, judges and, most importantly, the competitors. Elevated a bit above the ground, but roughly eye level with the ring, the stands were almost literally standing room only. In addition, it appeared as if the first 3 rows of the stadium were reserved solely for orphans from the Extra Snuggly Adorable Orphans Foundation, who cheered quite enthusiastically when their favorite hero walked into the arena. After a few minutes of the heroes getting the crowd riled up, the announcer made their way to the ring. They opened with the National Anthem as per tradition. The announcer then thanked anyone for attending and pointed out the event officials along with those who had made large contributions to the Foundation. "Now. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, Let's get ready to RUUUMMMMMBLE!" "Heading to ring, a man who needs no introduction! The Immortal Legend himself. The Sophisticated Heir of Savior-Fair. The Duke of Danger. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you ACE DANGEEEERRRR!" "And now joining him in the ring, his opponent. The Gunslinger from Infinity and Beyond. The Interstella' Southern Fella. The Cunning Cowboy. I present to you COOOLLLT! The crowd goes apeshit.

Altas followed Fulcrum's gave and noticed that the time was indeed approaching. He likewise began to wrap his hands in tape. Had he donw this 2 weeks ago, he would have just wound up with a wad of tape stuck to the back of his hand, but he had taken a few boxing lessons to prepare for this and this was thankfully one of the first thing they covered. He still had no idea why boxers did it, but he knew they did it, and so he did as well. And as an added bonus, it gave him something to do while he pondered as to whether or not he should answer Fulcrum's question truthfully. The Midnighters were a close group of friends, but Atlas could very well be considered the normal one in the group, which spoke volumes. Atlas was pretty sure that this wasn't the group that Fulcrum would want to associate with. Most of the Midnighters preferred to stick to the shadows, and truth be told, he would do the same some times but he has trouble finding one big enough. Fulcrum honestly didn't seem the type; she was the type of hero people could look up to and be proud of. But on the other hand, it would be rude if he didn't mention the Midnights at all. Or would it? Atlas gave up on deciding what was the right thing to do and simply made an indistinct grunt and did his best to look busy getting his gloves on.

The goons are quickly routed, Atlas bringing in one of the runners under his arm. Dark Star's plees get through to one of the younger looking workers, who comes clean and explains the set up. It was actually a pretty nice operation they had. They essentially work like middle men between buyers and the sellers. The gang members pick up the drops from the sellers and bring them back to the garage. The weapons and other contraband are then broken down into component parts. They are then hidden in the car parts, and put back in the old cars. The buyers come around and pick up their cars, the contraband hidden well away. As a side job, they also can put armor plating on the cars while they have them in their possession. --------------------------- Meanwhile... "Man, ain't it past your bed time!? For reals. Check it. I got a fist full a Bengamins, you can have em if ya let me go"

It Atlas noticed Moira being a little down on herself, he didn't mention it. Atlas crouched down low so he could peer over Moira's shoulder as she scrolled through the pictures. Atlas pointed out a few of his favorite ones. She smells like vanilla and cinnamon... thought Atlas as his eyes momentarily glazed over. "I vould love some help!" said Atlas happily. "Vith ze two of us vorking togezer, ve could create an army of snow men and rule ze vorld! ...Or pass an hour or two, vhatever comes first."

He's got Earth and Life Sciences because its Daedalus. He's supposed to be uber smart, so I just gave him everything with "science" at the end of it. Eidetic Memory is just useful because he's had such a long life, and Jack of All Trades represents and skills he happened to pick up along the way. The suit isn't Daedalus only because his old one wasn't either. And for Comprehend, I read the entry wrong, good eye. To rectify this, I added another rank for 2pp and took 2pp out of Reflex save.
