  1. Toughness save rolls (1d20+15=29, 1d20+15=27, 1d20+15=25) :wallbang: So yeah I took 9 there. owww. Going to spend my turn to get rid of those: Personal Healing Effect - round 1 (1d20+26=42) So that'll cancel out 7 wounds.
  2. It was right around that time that Avenger and Phantom became aware of a shadow that was rapidly growing in size. Atlas landed a little bit away from where Avenger and Phantom were standing. As he stood up to his full height, he immediately looked different from when the two had last seen Atlas. Mostly it was the fact that Atlas was actually wearing clothes, almost. He only wore a brown trench coat and simply pair of jeans, but the amazing thing is that they looked like they actually fit his massive frame. "So vat is zis I hear about vrestling for leadership?" says Atlas cracking a grin as he strolls over to the two, steam issuing from his mouth. Unsurprisingly, the big Russian guy didn't seem to be affected by the cold either. Who would have guessed?
  3. FINALS!!! 4 of them to be precise.
  4. Samael wasn't so hot with the words. There were others far better at it than he was, so it would be rude of him to interrupt. When the fear washed over him, it felt like a shot to the gut. It was that same feeling when you lose all feeling in your limbs and you can't even muster any strength. It made you feel helpless. But sometimes, when the abyss roars at you, you just have to roar back. That, Atlas could do. I don't know if you've ever seen a BIG RED MAN rip a 200ft tree out of the ground and proceed to use it like a giant base ball bat on the endless Horde, but it's really a thing of beauty. Atlas' method of fighting was basically causing as much chaos in as wide a swath as possible. As you watched him work, you got a weird feeling that this is exactly what Atlas was designed for. His "bat" was destroyed after 2 or 3 swings at which point became a javelin. After which point Atlas contented himself with weilding some of the smaller demons like fleshy boxing gloves before they poofed out of existence or were reduced to a fine paste. He immediately leapt at any large demons that made their presence known, and then used them like a club. But there were too many, this couldn't last.
  5. Atlas roars and buries his hands into the road. He then lifts a section of the road over his head and sends a wave traveling down the entirety of the road as if it were simply a very rocky sheet. The street was simply ruined by the force, and many of the faces of the surrounding buildings were broken by the flying debris. His task done, Atlas looked around the city in the moment he had before the demons would be upon them. Much of it was in ruins, and he had put a significant amount of it in that condition. He saw how far he and the other heroes were willing to go just to save maybe one more life, or stall the Horde maybe one more second. It was quite frightening. To no one in particular he muttered "Zere isn't going to be much of a city after zis vill zere?"
  6. Any idea what you actually want the curses to do? A curse can be a wide variety of effects.
  7. Welcome to the rabbit hole Mr. Anderson. :approved:
  8. Atlas had rejoined the group outside in the courtyard, but had yet to make his presence really known. He knew most of this already from Phantom's earlier phone call, so he didn't really feel the need to speak up too much. He merely waited to see the reactions of the other heroes. But as expected, none of them seemed even remotely inclined to back down at this critical juncture. Atlas also began looking around the courtyard, trying to figure out where he himself should make his own last stand. Fighting in the city in a target rich environment was one thing, but fighting in a open courtyard was an entirely different sort of beast. For one thing, he didn't have anymore buildings to topple over. Furthermore, there were a lot more friendlies in this fight than there had been in the last, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing.

  10. Happy if it knows what's good for it!
  11. Atlas nodded and made his way into the shower. "Thanks." he said quietly to the green-haired girl. In the back recesses of his mind, he felt that it was a beautiful house and would have liked to admire it, but this was hardly the time. Too many people with too much fear in their eyes. Atlas got into the shower "fully dressed" and turned the water on. He let out a his through clenched teeth whenever the water fell on his wounds. He had forgotten how much being heavily injured sucked. After a few minutes he had gotten most of the blood off, and the warm water had heated his stiff muscles, now came the really bad part. His eyes darted between the wash cloth in his hand and the wounds on his leg that sorely needed cleaning as he didn't want it to become infected. With a few deep calming breaths, he prepared himself, and then ran the washcloth over his leg. He had to use his free hand to support himself on the shower wall as tears welled up in his eyes. A few minutes after that a now sopping wet Atlas made his way back outside. He hadn't bothered to change clothes, all he would do is tear them again.
  12. The Split personality thing gives me pause. It should be rare enough to be a complication rather than a drawback.
  13. Stats, should be 48 points spent, not 47. Combat, good. Saves, good. Skills, counting 68 ranks, not 64. Feats, good. Powers and drawbacks, good.
  14. Atlas took Phantom's suggestion and tried to stem the tide of the horde. Even they couldn't stand against this overwhelming assault, but this was just a ploy for time. That being said, when stalling for time and not getting eviscerated by the endless hordes of the Abyss are one and the same, you tend to fight tooth and nail anyways. Altas made his way through the relative clearing to the building that Phantom had indicated. Due to the fact that it was so close to the center of all this madness, everyone had either been evacuated, or overrun. Either way, there wasn't much you could do for them at this point. Still it was sad to do this. Though it was oddly poetic that tearing down features of civilization might be one of the things that helps guard it. At the base of the building, Atlas plunged his hands deep into the concrete, into the foundation of the building. With a groan of effort, Atlas managed to pull the base of half the building about 6ft out of the ground, at which point gravity promptly took over and the building toppled the rest of the way down, hopefully buying the defenders a few precious minutes.
  15. If the whole point of it is to not nekkids every time you use your powers, that's hand wave territory. Being actually immune to incoming plasma and magnetic effects is definitely device territory.
  16. "Sorry dear, but you are talking to ze wrong person for zat. I don't get zat beat up normally. And ven I do, I can heal very fast. Zough I admit goin punch for punch vith somevon named "Smash" is probably not ze best of ideas." says Atlas as he thoughtfully rubs his chin, recalling the events of the week. It had been rather slow in comparison to what he had done previously. Just the one brawl with Smash was the one truly noteworthy event. Many of the gangs that had used his section of the Fens as their stomping grounds had moved on to less hostile territory, so their conflicts tended to be much more few and far between than they had been.
  17. Alright, take it easy and get well soon.
  18. And I forgot to upgrade Tempest, so here we go: Going to spend 2 points to slap Acute and Analytical onto his Detect Life power. He's always had this ability, but now that's he's experienced life first hand, he can better interpret the information. Sandman XI did this a while ago
  19. Freeman's Mind
  20. "Zey call me Atlas. says Atlas jabbing his thumb into his chest. His smile falters a little as he observes the damage done to the bank. "Da, it is a shame about ze bank. It vill take zem a while to get everyzing back in order. But, hey no one got hurt and zat is ze important zing right?"
  21. While Wesley was reviving the other heroes, Atlas moved the tank/dozer outside, but not before ensuring it wouldn't be leaving under its own power. After being revived by Wesley, Gossamer and Boomer went to secure the goons and Shatter Point before the police could make their appearance on the scene. As Atlas re-entered the bank, he was healed and greeted by Wesley. Atlas slowly reached out with his right hand, and shook Wesley's hand with his pointer finger and his thumb. Unsurprisingly, it was a rather firm handshake, though Atlas did avoid crushing Wesley's hand. Then Atlas cracked a smile and in a quick motion scooped up Wesley in a hug "You did well!" shouted Atlas at an unnecessarily loud volume. He put Wesley gently back on the ground, while laughing boisterously.
  22. Alright, guess I should spend some of Atlas's points. Going to flush out his Feats this month, so spending all 4 of his points there. Improved Grab, Interpose, Luck (Limited to Ultimate Toughness & Last Stand), and Takedown Attack. ============================= In addition, I would like to move his Impervious ranks outside of his Container. This will reduce the Container's rank to 9, and give it a 9 minute duration. As a side note, I will probably make Atlas' form permanent in the next month or two, so you won't have to do this much more Sandman gives Ruskie Hulk red text!
  23. Well that was easy Approved
