In fact, everyone dig them up, and I'll include them in each of the status update posts I do.

<.< >.> <.< ... I knew that. What were the DC's again?
-
You would need to link them as a a +1 Extra in order to not have to use them at the same time. Ie: being able to run without using the blast portion of cold control.
-
What weapon could you have that would do something like this? Remember Equipment is lower costed because of the technological limitations inherent into our current technology level.

Alright, for a refresher: Ronin - Unharmed - VP x3 Helicopters (3) Belphegor - Unharmed - VP x3 Malice - Unharmed - VP x5 Captain Knievel - Unharmed - VP x5 Tanks (5) Battalions (2) War Mechs (2) Vestige was at the top of the order, but I've got enough work with all the other stuff to worry about NPC-ing him so unless anyone has any objections, I'm just going to write him out.

I think there's like 4 characters on the boards who can speak Russian, so I need to get used to doing the accents, for ya know, the other 40 people. As an aside, I have no idea what they sign says.

That may very well be the darkest post I've made to date. The last paragraph is just utter lunacy.

*sigh* "Doc you've got it all wrong. Firstly, being dangerous isn't a crime. You, me, Arrowhawk, Raven, we're all dangerous. But we earned that right. Dangerous is a measure of capability, not a crime. In a hypothetical scenario, if we put our heads together, we could invent a weapon of such terrible power that we could boil the oceans. But we don't, we're not murderers. As scientists we know full well the implications of our abilities, inventions and the ethical ramifications there in. But can you honestly look me in the eye and tell me that you don't know a single meta that doesn't know the full extent of their abilities, or that you couldn't think of a better way to implement their powers? Secondly, why the hell is everyone hung up on that one week? Aside from intervening at the Captain's Trial and my HQ being blown up - with me still inside it - what have I done that's so terrible? My fight with Captain Wonder? He's the one that threw me through a building, and dumped a flat bed truck on my head. How did I start the night? By picking the lock on the roof! Me, in my multi-million dollar "death machine" picked the @#$% lock! I could've torn the door of the hinges, I could've blown the wall apart, heck I bet I could've leveled the building if I really wanted to. But no. I snuck into the building because I didn't want anyone to get hurt. If you look through any of my escapades, you'll notice that I was very careful with the amount of force I used. It was targeted on one or two main targets. Heck, if you looked at the Mantle of Freedom, you'd notice that 95% of the weaponry is single target, or only hits a handful of targets. Now, if you want to discuss the Trial, let me put things in perspective for you. Firstly, Captain Knievel was on trial 2 days after being arrested. No, just no. Not even the best lawyers in the country could work up an adequate defense in that time. Any competent lawyer would have called a mistrial. Secondly, consider the fact that Captain Knievel is one of my best friends. If your best friend was set up in this farce of a trial, you'd be more than a little mad wouldn't you? Now once the battle was joined you'll notice that I was being assaulted by Scarab, Arrowhawk and Darkstar. Not a single one of them is a push over. Furthermore, Dark Star is completely immune to any sort of conventional weaponry I could throw at him. So, I had use one of my most devastating weapons if I even wanted to harm him. So, did I overreact? Probably. Was that overreaction justified? Yes. Then, if you are referring to the event in Riverside, you'll note that someone assaulted by base and the blew it up. I'm sorry that whatever idiot did that didn't think blow up a "mad-man's" ammo dump was a bad idea. Now, to put things in perspective, I've been working on the "Malice project" for about 6 years now. Granted, much of this was the design period, and the creation of the bunker, along with all the smuggling that involved, but I was sitting on that ammo dump for at least 3 years. Think about that for a second. Like, I mean run the numbers. You'll see that people are basing their entire judgment of me on about 0.3 to 0.5% of my "career". That time period also being at the same time my best friend was being locked up and I was assaulted in my own home. Yeah, that's a real good sample size right there. Now for your third point. 'Where do you draw the line?' If your previous 2 points weren't ignorant enough, you had to go ahead and ask this stupid question. Firstly, I am only concerned with those that go grossly beyond the norms of human ability. I'm talking about throwing fire, flying unaided, telepathy. But also, the record for deadlifting is what? Right around 1000 pounds? If you're doing like 5,000 or more, that's grossly beyond. If you're doing like 1500, I'm not even going to look at you. If it comes down to a judgment call on my part, they're safe. Secondly, I am not just concerned with metas, they are merely my immediate goal. They're the ceiling that prevents humans from doing higher, so I first need to clear the air. Once that's done, then I can begin working on phase 2. See I'm not drawing a line, it's more of a circle. Anyone that falls outside of that is fair game. So after the fire-breathers, I'm going after the third generation teen pregnant mothers, living on welfare, with 5 kids at age 20, from 3 different daddies and they don't know a single one of them is. After I get rid of the un-humans, I'm doing to move onto the inferior examples of the human race. I am not so optimistic as to say that every human being has the right to breed. Some need to be put down for the betterment of the species."
-
You can do so, though unless you get down to street level it is unlikely you will be able to target more than like 2-3 people.
-
Yeah, I'd allow AP'ing vehicles so long as it entails retreating to your HQ to grab a new set of wheels and/or wings. APing HQ's and weapons have been done to death, they're kosher.

Tried to make Samael's accent a little more pronounced. Yay or Nay?

"Not so much no. I do feel bit tired after it zough. Not too much. It is at stage vere you are not out of breath, but neizer is it normal breathing, somevere in the middle. Like you run a mile, zen take 5 minute to rest. Maybe tired, but vorst is behind you da? But most of "Big Russian guy vith Big Punching" is act. Most people do not zink zat I can not be big and not be dumb at same time. So I let people underestimate me. It vould be lie if I said I do not solve many problem vith punching, but brain has good use. But ven I say zings like - 'Atlas crush little, tiny, itsy, bitsy men!' it is just act... most of time." Samael smirks quite a bit at the last line before taking another chomp out of his sandwhich.

NO! The color drains from Atlas' face as Gossamer is sent flying. His face screwed up in a scowl Atlas rounds on Shatter Point. "And this is what happens to the bad guys!" roars Atlas as he connects with a strong right cross to Shatter Point's chest. The force of the blow sends Shatter Point reeling as he is knocked across the back. He's still on his feet, but his knees are quite shaky, one more good shot ought to do it.

Good to go. The stipulation being that you start using that shift key ;)

Everything looks good except for the powers. The Create Object power costs 25 points, the blast AP costs 26. The Strike is within allowable point costs.

"Well, my source is drunk bums, who heard the story from friend of friend of friend, who was running for their life. It is quite hard to get good directions. Who knew? But, I suggest following the steam vents, they like to stay where it is warm."

GM ONLY POST One of Shatter Point's remaining goons had the wherewithal to realize that it was his time to get the heck out of dodge. He scrambled up into the vehicle and slammed the doors, leaving his compatriots to fend for themselves. In all likelihood he would probably want to make his way to the front of the vehicle and then drive away, but it'll take him a moment. Shatter Point for his part, takes the recent turn of events in stride... foooor all of about 2 seconds before he flips his lid. He beings ranting about how "this was supposed to be a simple job", "you can't find good help", and of course the "meddling goodie goodies". He of course uses far coarser language than would be allowed to air even on late night HBO. Shatter Point first rounds on Gossamer. "I gave you a chance to sit this one and this is how you repay me!? But, no! You had to be the hero! Well this is what happens to heroes!" as he unleashes a furious blast at Gossamer, as he finally looses his cool. Gossamer is lifted off her feet and flung to the opposite side of the bank where she lands in a heap of golden hair.

Alright, let's keep this moving. Kavos previously rolled for Boomer this round, and remains out like a light. Of all the goons, only one remains able to take actions this round, and he is going to jump inside of the well armored dozer, close all the windows and lock all the doors, screw everyone else. Shatter Point will... *ponders* ...blast Gossamer in the hopes to take out one of the tentacle people in the bank Disintegration attack vs Gossamer DEF 8, AoA/PA 5 DC 29 Fort, 34 Toughness; SP DEF set to 15 (1d20+10=18) Gossamer Fort vs Drain Toughness, DC 29 (1d20+6=18) Pop a hero point to reroll Gossamer Fort vs Drain Toughness, DC 29, HP reroll (1d20+6=19) Okay, pretty much anything other than a natural 20 will put Goss out. Gossamer Toughness save vs Disintegration, DC 34 (1d20=2) yep she's out.

Alright. Doc, quote, you still with us? I have yet to get a response from WM and I don't think Avalon is going to be coming back. If you want to do this, I'm still up for it, I just have to figure out a reason to take out about half of the combatants in one fell swoop. Oh wait, this is me we're talking about.

"Ya pretty much got it down pat Doc." replied Samael as he got to making his own sandwich. "The first time, it was accident. Is like first time you stand. You don't know why or how, you just do. Now it is like spring. You take big metal spring, and compact it down. So long as you hold it, it stays like that. When you stop, it happen all at once. So tranforming can happen when I purposely let go of spring. It is like conscious lack of control if that makes any sense. Once I am Atlas, I am Atlas. No control over how long, but usually last like 10 to 15 minute. When it is done, I have to compact spring again. That take time. But every time I change, it not last as long as before. Little less each time. But now, I am much stronger as Samael than I have ever been. When I go to gym, I used to bench 100 kilogram.; I am close to 300 now. I think maybe there is time when I won't change back." Samael finishes his little speech by taking a big bite out of his completed sandwich, a rather amazing feat considering all the stuff that went on it. Turkey, salami, roast beef, ham, bologna, swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato and barbecue sauce. Apparently, he wasn't kidding about the deli business.

Although he didn't want to admit it, his disguise was pretty much foiled after that little escapade, so Tempest gave up on observing the humans without himself participating for now. It did however appear that now was indeed a good time to "enjoy one's self" as the humans would say. So, Tempest ventured forth into the circus grounds. He attempted to blend in as much as possible, but it was still a very hard task to do. The results were rather comical. He first ventured forth to what was called "the roller coaster". He remained silent as he waited on line, even as the humans pointed and stared at him. Eventually, most simply gave up. Tempest wanted to what they would do normally, interacting with them would not create a normal set of circumstances. The humans had an odd behavioral pattern on the roller coaster. They tended to scream and hold their hands in the air. This was usually a practice reserved for the sensation of terror. If that was the case then why would the humans voluntarily enter into such a scenario? In fact the humans seemed willing to even pay for the experience. Perhaps it was the ability to feel terror in a controlled environment that the humans found entertaining. As the roller coaster descended the next hill, Tempest decided to experiment, and uttered a declaration of delight. It was most entertaining. Tempest began wandering around the circus with his curiosity now intrigued for the ways one may experience enjoyment. Tempest's next target was the "fire eater" spectacle. As Tempest understood, humans could not acquire nourishment from flame. This required immediate investigation.

Training in the Wharton State Forest (IC)
Geez3r replied to Master_Pelle's topic in Wharton State Forest
This was a new sensation for Tempest. This was undoubtedly what humans would call a "shudder" which was proceeded a feeling of intense discomfort, often times mental in nature. For reasons unknown to Tempest, humans exhibited a sign of physical unrest when so mentally afflicted. Whatever this unnatural feeling was, had made Tempest understand the sentiment. Tempest made a move to intercept whatever this force was, but then suddenly stopped. This force was moving toward the humans, but not with a sense of urgency. Tempest then looked at the new arrival in the clearing. Perhaps this was a gathering of the villain humans? If they have allied themselves with an evil force such as this it would be beneficial to understand their potential plot so that it could be better combated. For now, Tempest hung back in the trees to observe. Wrath would come later. -
Sign Tempest and Atlas up for the more combat heavy threads Not opposed to saving people however, so if you want to intersperse rescuing with combat, go right ahead. I'll leave how outmatched they are up to you.

These humans were interesting. It was a phrase Tempest had used many times since he had been in Freedom, but this time he was quite sure it was justified. There was a band of carnival humans that would travel between the different human cities and put on shows and other forms of entertainment for the other human's entertainment. These carnie humans had very strange ways according to the city humans, but the carnie humans had said the opposite of the city humans. Tempest had marked this discrepency up to what the humans called perspective. Apparently, a human was allowed to be wrong in their ideals so long as they remained ignorant to the truth. Often times, it would be considered acceptable if a human's actions also impeeded any knowledge generation practices. This is what humans would refer to as "sticking to one's guns" and "holding the course". Sometimes these traits are viewed as admirable. It was quite a confusing issue. If Tempest wished to get to the bottom of this issue, then he would have to observe the interactions of the carnie humans with the city humans while remaining unmolested. He had realized earlier that he would attract undue attention, and therefore not get an objective opinion the humans if his presence was known. Ordinarily, there would be know way to be in a position to observe the human interactions and not interefere with them. However, given the city human's perceived oddities of the carnival, they would not pay special attention to a humanoid figure composed of earth and wood, so long as the figure were to be posed in a dramatic fashion. For the first half hour the plan progressed smoothly, and without a hitch. Most humans continued in their ordinary course of action, without heed to Tempest's presence. Some however paused to pose for a photo opprotunity with the "cool statue". Cool in this context being a comment on the quality of an object, not its temperature. This was meant to be taken as a compliment. However, after one photo opportunity, one of the humans decided to deposit their gum on Tempest's shoulder. As they walked away, they found themselves suddenly dragged underground, until only their head remained above ground. As the city human looked around frantically for a cause for his current situation, Tempest knelt down beside the city human. Without uttering a word, Tempest removed the gum from his shoulder and deposited it back in the city human's mouth which was currently. Tempest then gently placed a hand under the city human's jaw and closed his mouth for him. As he stood, and the city human was freed from his earthly prison, Tempest simply said ""A smart human would learn to respect nature." before returning to his previous pose.
