  1. Sure why not, I can use all the posts I can get :D
  2. Well Tempest is a nature spirit and he has to find a secluded spot in nature everyday to "recharge his batteries" so to speak. Running into someone to or from that little errand isn't outside the realm of possibility.
  3. GM ONLY POST Suddenly there was a flurry of movement in the bank. Gossamer was moving again. "That does not belong to you." She states simply as one of her tendrils of hair sweeps over to the bank vault, and slams into one of the goons before wrapping around him and chucking him across the room. How did they get over there so fast? mused Gossamer at the sudden relocation of everyone. However it was a question to be addressed later.
  4. OK, everyone gains a HP for Shatter Point "reviving" his goons. Wesley gains another for effectively being out of combat for 6 or 7 rounds. Gossamer - Unharmed - HP x3 Wesley - Fatigued, Deafened, Bruised x3 - HP x3 - Totally back in action Boomer - Stunned - HP x5 Goons (8) - 2 Bruised, 6 unharmed Shatter Point - Bruised x2 Atlas - Bruised x2, Paralyzed - HP x4 Fort save vs Paralyze (1d20+11=19) - Gossamer. gonna use an HP to reroll. Fort save vs Paralyze, HP reroll (1d20+11=21) Her 10 gets bumped to a 20, she saves. She's going to go goon sweeping. Attack roll vs goon DEF 17, DC 25 toughness (1d20+10=23, 1d20+10=30, 1d20+10=19, 1d20+10=20, 1d20+10=30, 1d20+10=22, 1d20+10=28, 1d20+10=19) Goon toughness save DC 25, first two take a -1 (1d20+8=25, 1d20+8=12, 1d20+8=13, 1d20+8=25, 1d20+8=28, 1d20+8=21, 1d20+8=15, 1d20+8=21) I made a bunch of rolls in case the first couple failed at which point Gossamer would have spent a HP for Takedown Attack. But the first guy only took a bruise. I'll get Goss' IC post up, and then Wesley is up.
  5. Hooray! Looks like a dramatically appropriate time for everyone to spend some HP's and hopefully save against their various afflictions. Gimme a sec to drag the old status stuff from the OOC.
  6. Hrmm, I would have sworn it was ranged. Ah well, I'll swap Acute for Ranged and then get acute later.
  7. Atlas was quite relieved when Doc was out and about apparently much better now. He averted his gaze while Doc found himself some pants. He sat pretty quietly while Doc when off on his techno-babble rant, mostly because he had no idea what he was going on about. When he put it in simple terms, Atlas chuckled "Yeah that sounds good." Atlas then started to stand up from his sitting position, but suddenly stopped and let out a pained grunt. Muscle fibers retracted, his skin loosed, bones were heard readjusting in place and he apparently lost a good 700 pounds of muscle mass easily. When Atlas stood up again, he looked like a normal human again. Like his other form, this one was very well muscled, but not nearly as jacked as his other form. It could be assumed that he still retained some of his superhuman strength and endurance in human form. Altas rolled his head around on his neck for a moment, while he adjusted a rather elastic section on the waist of his pants. "Oww. Not as pleasant as it sounds. Do you have a spare shirt Doctor? I seem to be in need of one. Also, I am called Samael; Samael Natorvich."
  8. Atlas took quite a bit more care down here as he made his way over to the tank. "In you go." Said Atlas as he lifted Doc over the lip on the tank and gently placed him inside. Once Doc was in the blue liquid it seemed as if a visible weight was lifted off of Atlas' shoulders. He scanned the area, but seeing nothing that looked like a chair, he just sat down on the ground. "How long will this take?"
  9. There we go. That should be everything for the new guy. Give him another look-see.
  10. GM Only Post The heroes are still staggering from Shatter Point's assault. Shatter Point uses the time to shake the ice off of his goons, covering the ground in broken ice. "Alright you yabohs, get that truck full to the brim, pronto. This ain't permanent you know. Drake, Henley. Toss Malcolm and Burns in the truck while you're at it. Losers couldn't even take one good shot, I'm docking their pay."
  11. Fort Save to recover from Paralyze (1d20+10=27) - Goss unfortuately needed a 19 this round. Fort Save to recover from Paralyze (1d20+17=22) - This is Atlas, forgot to change the name.
  12. Great name Doc! :D
  13. Atlas found it weird to be inside a house while transformed, he had never done so before. He had always been outside while transformed and had plenty of room to stomp around. Now however, he had to walk down the hallways sideways because he practically too broad to walk down them normally. He would have pretty much tip-toed through the house, but Doc wasn't doing so hot so Atlas figured that if he saved his life, he would overlook the overturned coffee table, and the broken mouse/vacuum thing. Altas got into the freight elevator and after checking the weight capacity, hit the button with his pinky, the only one of his fingers small enough to hit more than one button at once. When the elevator reached the laboratory level, Atlas froze momentarily. Not only was it because the sheer majesty of the place, but Atlas also had no idea what he was looking for, and he also knew that Doc would be pissed if he broke anything down here.

    Y2K Bug (OOC)

All out Attack 5, take a 10 on my attack roll, which will hit, so I can now start a grapple. I again take a 10 on my grapple check, netting me a 45, unless I am mistaken, this would be well out the scope of a small creature's ability to escape. I will simply pin the creature rather than damage it. Doc, I leave the analysis up to you, using whatever methods you deem necessary

"Works for me!" Atlas pulled back his fist to hit the little blighter into next week, but then suddenly stopped. Instead he swiped at the creature, and scooped it up in his massive hand, holding it fast, but not squishing it out of existence. Atlas then held the thing up close to his face, as it squirmed futilely against Atlas' vice of a grip. "Any idea what these things are Doc?" He held it so Doc could get a closer look at the thing but not so the creature could escape.
  16. Going to make some Streetwise and Gather Info to see if I can piece together some of this mess with the new information about zombies, undead and necromancers. Anything I previously described as lunacy. Any similarities between this and other events, where these events seem to be concentrated, that sort of thing. Knowledge: Streetwise (1d20+8=27) Gather Info (1d20+10=19)
  17. Samael was flat out flabbergasted. "I - I ... How can you act calm? Is this normal? Was this some sort of meeting? All I know is weird stuff's been happening. Weird Maggie gave me this obituary, and I came here." Samael strode forward to the group with the newspaper clipping presented, but not really expecting anyone to take it or pay him much attention. He hung back a few paces, obviously not fully trusting any of them yet. Now that he was closer and could see them clearer, he recognized the two of them. One was Avenger, the other Phantom, and he assumed the third was the body that was buried here. "Lots of the bums from the subway have moved up to the surface, avoiding whatever "monsters" are down there. Guess I found out why." said Samael, hoping someone could piece together some info he was missing.
  18. Either or. Seeing as how you said Hanover, he's probably head there. However, because he doesn't know the area nor where Doc's house is, he'' probably go where ever Doc can groggily groan directions to.
  19. Samael cursed his luck as he made his way through the row of graves. If Maggie hadn't found him, he wouldn't be way the heck out here so late at night. He paused at the grave site and dug the news paper clipping out of his jacket again. He really didn't need to, he had looked at the clipping so many times by now that he practically had the obituary memorized. Through the few small wisps of steam that issued from his nose he read the name and day of death again. Getting close... mused Samael as he noticed the dates were getting closer. Another minute or two of trudging brought him close to where the grave should be. Then he noticed a few rows over there was a girl... floating over the grave with a massive billowing cloak, and next to her was - "Ah crap." muttered Samael as the scene before him registered. He immediately regretted his decision to come here this evening, let alone make his presence known to these people. He stood there for a moment, too stunned by this turn of events to go much of else.
  20. Because Malice's flow through to Tempest, I only have Atlas to update this time. Due to recent Ref ruling, the True Resurrection Extra is already part of resurrection, meaning Atlas gets 1 more point out of the deal. I'll buy 2 more ranks in Feats to get Accurate Attack and another rank in Luck [2pp] I'll spend 2 points to buy 7 more ranks in Intimidate and 1 more rank in Notice: [2pp] Intimidate 15 (+17, +19 in Alt Form) Notice 9 (+9) I'll spend my last 2 points to buy Immunity 2 (critical hits). [2pp] ---------------------------------- Then I'll "buy off" 2 rank in his Alternate Form, reducing it to rank 11, giving it an 11 minute duration, and an adjusted cost of 53 points. Please remove 4 ranks of Enhanced Strength and 4 ranks of Enhanced Constitution, and both of his Enhanced Feats (Last Stand & Ultimate Toughness). Increase his natural Strength and Constitution to 32 each, and add Last Stand & Ultimate Toughness to his list of normal feats. Thank you.

That sounds like a really weird version of Transfer, which itself is a Boost effect Linked to a Drain. It could also be a Mimic of sorts too for that matter, with a dash of Empowerment. ... Ya know, the more I think about this power, the complicated it seems to get. I'll let you know if I have any inspiration.
  22. GM Only Post As he slides under Atlas's arm, Shatter Point reaches out and grabs a hold of Atlas's wrist. Suddenly, Atlas' momentum slows to a crawl and he is frozen in place, exactly like Gossamer. Shatter Point looks at the 3 immobile heroes in the room, and cranes his neck to see the hole Wesley had gotten blasted through. He lets out a long whistle. "Damn I'm good. Hey you lunk heads hurry up with that loot! Coppers'll be here any minute."
  23. Paralyze atk roll vs Atlas DEF 10, PA 5, DC 29 Fort (1d20+5=19) That's a hit. Fort Save vs Paralyze, DC 29 (1d20+15=21) Fails and is fully paralyzed. I'll keep it for now. Every combatant has been neutralized, get a HP for the complication. Boomer - Stunned (+2) - HP x4 Goons (8) - 2 Bruised, 6 (incased in ice) Shatter Point - Bruised x2 Atlas - Bruised x2, Paralyzed (+1) - HP x3 Enough rounds have passed where Gossamer can potentially start making her saves vs Paralyze. Goss Fort save vs Paralyze (1d20+9=13) not yet. Atlas Fort save to recover from Paralyze (1d20+16=27) Not this turn.
  24. Not at all. I'll give Nyrath a day or so to respond before moving on.
  25. Alright, you failed by 9, meaning you are stunned, and unlike what happens normally, you stay stunned. You do however get to make a new save with each passing round, with a cumulative +1 bonus per round. So go ahead and roll it to see if you can act on your turn, for this round, it has a +1 bonus (in addition to whatever your Fort save already is). And we both failed our Notice checks, so there may or may not be a surprise in our futures.
