Not two seconds after the creature is pulled out of this realm, he worms his way back. With a feral growl and massive strength, the wolf strains against the invisible force holding him down. It's holding for now, but you know for sure that it won't be holding for long. Especially when the reinforcements make their presence known. The two of you are descended upon by 4 wolves. Two of them attempt to free the beastman, while the other two circle around behind you, cutting off a path of immediate escape.

Angel roped me in to helping out with the combat here. So let's get this shindig underway here. Leader's turn: Free Action: Rage (+6 Strength, +3 Fort, +3 Will, -2 Defense, 10 rounds remaining) Free Action: Will Save vs Dimensional Pocket (1d20+12=29) yeah, he's out. Standard Action: Break the bonds: Toughness save for Snare, DC 27 (1d20+6=19) The snare is damaged, taking a -1 penalty on further toughness saves Forgot about the wolves. 2 wolves come out of the grove and gnaw on their master's bonds. Toughness save for Snare, DC 16 (1d20+5=14) Further -1 Toughness save for Snare, DC 16 (1d20+4=17) The other two circle around behind the two of you, but do nothing more than growl, yet. Mervyl - Unharmed - 4 VP Blackbird - Unharmed - 2 VP Leader - Bound and Helpless, Unharmed Wolves (4) - Unharmed Angel I'm tossing you a VP just because you cheezed off the big bad and he'll be gunning for you.

Not a problem. Worth the wait.
-
So we going to do any RP Doc, or do you just want to call it?
-
All the best to everyone.
-
You also can slap the Fades flaw on the Deflect portion. In fact, you lose 2 ranks of the power with each successful use, instead of 1 power point. Worth at least a -2 Flaw in my opinion.

Atlas lumbered forward, the new layer of ice crunching under his feet and bat one of the two remaining creatures away with a massive back hand. The creature poofed out of existence like all the others. Craning his neck upward Altas called to Dr. Archeville "How you holding up Doc? Did any get to you?"
-
By the time Atlas completes his first leap, and then returns to Doc on the leap after, several rounds will have passed. Probably enough to have Doc either no longer be unconscious or for him to be waking up before Atlas finishes his second leap.
-
"Look at you tiny itty bitty men, running from snowflake!" taunted Atlas as the pair teleported off to parts unknown. But now that the immediate danger had passed, Atlas needed to try and find what had become of the good Doctor. Altas gave another monsterous leap towards where the Doctor had been flung, and saw the Doc hanging in mid air above the clouds. However, his first jump was not on target, so upon landing he changed direction and took off again, aiming to try and get Doc the medical attention he probably needed.

Atlas holds his ground, and manages to avoid Knievel's attack, for such a big guy, he's not so bad on defense. The unorthodox stuttering taunts of Mervyl do however catch him off guard, but he recovers quickly enough to ignore his little light show. "Let's cool that hot head of yours." Atlas takes a small leap backwards and then blasts the street with an arctic wind from his lungs, instantly adding a few inches of ice to everything on the street.

Counter Intimidate vs Captain Startle DC 25 (1d20+12=26) Pass, attack misses. Counter Intimidate vs Mervyl Demoralize DC 27 (1d20+12=14) Fail, -2 penalty to attack rolls and skill checks for 1 round. Counter Intimidate vs Mervyl Startle DC 28 (1d20+10=30) Pass. Atlas uses his Freeze Breath now that the two of you are in close proximity. DC 20 Reflex save for half "damage" and then DC 20 Reflex save vs a Snare effect (15 if you pass the initial save). I has snow. You can has. Is gift.
-
You don't roll damage in M&M, ever. Someone rolls a save at a static DC.
-
What exactly did you do there Kavos? Why were there two rolls? And which of your attacks was it?
-
Wait, not sure what happened. Knievel startled and then attacked and then Mervyl demoralized and startled?
-
Toughness save vs Knievel's attack DC 29 (1d20+15=30) Startle Attempt vs Mervyl as a move action (1d20+7=10) Melee Attack roll vs Mervyl DEF 18, DC 30 toughness (1d20+5=14)
-
"Stupid tiny, little itsy, bitsy man. You're little bug zapper not even hurt little tiny fly." As Atlas had been able to shake of Knievel's attacks up until this point, he didn't want to take the chance that Mervyl could hit harder than him. Atlas let out a massive roar and took another swing at Mervyl, but like the last one, it missed by a large margin, though he did get closer this time.

Powered Armor Spent almost half his points here, so it probably deserves a mention. Tim Taylor Technology The answer: use a gun. If that don't work, use more gun. Explosive Instrumentation Every single floor in Malice's base had something in there meant to blow up, or would blow up real good. See Also: Made of Explodium Death Ray Check. Energy Weapon Getting MOAR of them shortly. Explosive Overclocking Hero Points make this go away. Up to Eleven He can kill things better than anyone else, probably. Disintegrator Ray I swear I've liked to this before. Colour Coded For Your Concenience Woot. Finally subverted a trope. America Saves the Day Okay 2 subverts this time. Mad Scientist Heavy emphasis on the Mad part. Super Prototype There's only one Mantle of Freedom. Necesary Drawback Both personality and power wise. Do Anything Robot Debating giving him Gadgets. Arm Cannon The right one specifically. Wearing A Flag on Your Head *cough* <.< >.> <.< Clothes Make the Superman Literally.

Avalon, you still with us?
-
I just noticed that Atlas' blurb was actually Malice's. Can you change it to: Atlas: The biggest, baddest brute to ever dedicate his life to cleaning up the streets. Unknown, even to him, is that he's a weapon to be used by the Grue for their invasion of Earth.

Abilities add up. Combat, needs a bit of work. Firstly, I'm more than a little leery of having someone at PL 10 with so few ranks in attack and defense, and making up a rather large gap with Dodge Focus and Accurate. Grapple is +2, +21 w/ Demonic Strength Knockback is -5 Saves add up. Feats, add up. Skills, add up. Powers Firstly, I'm a little leery of the fact that Hellfire control lets you do so much. I'm fine with different variations on "Burn things" but the Decievers charm, Demonic Strength, the super senses, teleporting, healing... is cause for some concern, at least in my opinion. The other powers are fine though.
-
You sacrifice is accepted.
-
Okay, you did most everything other than the formating and a few minor issues, which I went ahead and did for you. However, if I'm adding it right, you have only spent 19 ranks in skills instead of 20, find someplace to throw that last rank would you?

Eric simply nodded. "Tell me about it. Navigating all of that paperwork can be quite a pain. It does have quite the payoff though. Like if say you manage get all of the working parts to a nuclear reactor shipped to your house in the middle of downtown suburbia without anyone being none the wiser. Hypothetically of course." Added Eric with a rather sadistic grin as he leaned back in his chair. "So yes, Doctor, Darts is on the verge of becoming everything you said it could be. But did you never question why Darts didn't start transitioning sooner? Or did you think you truly had the Midus touch; that we were all lost without your guidance? Truth be told, I had everything I needed from Darts. Using my connections and wealth, I could get my hands on anything I wanted, pretty much at anytime, without any true muss or fuss once I knew the system. So my question to you is Doctor, why would you of all people give that up?"

At least 60 ft away. It's probably close to 100ft away, because Knievel was not standing adjacent to Mervyl. Not that it matters because Atlas just cleared that distance.
-
Atlas was in a real pinch now. Knievel was far too agile for him to hit, and that other guy packed a whallop with whatever energy he used. He didn't want to fight them both at the same time, so he had to pick. Atlas knew he could do toe to toe with Knievel for a while, but not with the new guy blasting him in the back. Atlas decided Mervyl was more dangerous at the moment, and lunged after him. Altas tried to sock him with an uppercut but bit nothing but air.
